What is PackagedAvaritia?
1 part
PackagedAvaritia is an addon for PackagedAuto and Avaritia. It lets you automatically craft items that normally need the Dire Crafting Table, so you don't have to do those big crafts by hand. It can run without Applied Energistics 2, but installing it alongside AE2 is recommended.[1]
The core piece is the Extreme Package Crafter. You put it next to an Unpackager and have the Unpackager handle Extreme Crafting recipes, which you encode into recipe holders with the Encoder. When the crafter is connected to an ME network, it ejects its outputs into the network automatically.[1]
This pack includes version 2.2.2.13, the Re:Avaritia build for 1.20.1.[2]
Where it sits in the quest book
The mod's quests live in the Packaged chapter, which is in the Production group and is chapter 26 of 44 in the book. The chapter has 29 quests and mixes PackagedAuto, Packaged Ex Crafting and Packaged Draconic content with this mod's quests.[3]
The PackagedAvaritia quests form a single chain of four. It starts with "Sculk Crafting" quest, which asks for the Sculk Package Crafter. Next comes "Nether Crafting" quest with the Nether Package Crafter, then "End Crafting" quest with the End Package Crafter. The chain finishes with "Extreme Crafting" quest and the Extreme Package Crafter. No other quest in the chapter lists Extreme Crafting as a prerequisite.[3]
Before the chain, the book sends you through "ME Packaging Provider" quest, which comes after the Packager and Unpackager quests. The Sculk Crafting quest unlocks from it, as do the other crafter quests in the chapter, such as "Elite Crafting" quest and "Fusion Crafting" quest. So it's worth setting up your basic packaging and ME link first.[3]
How do you get started with PackagedAvaritia?
3 parts
PackagedAvaritia is an addon to PackagedAuto and Avaritia. It gives you package crafters, so your autocrafting setup can handle Avaritia crafting table recipes. In this pack the quest book walks you through it in a clear order, so follow that and you won't get lost.[1][3]
Step 1: Get the PackagedAuto basics first
The quest book covers this mod in its "Packaged" chapter. Don't skip ahead, because the chapter starts with the PackagedAuto groundwork.[3]
- Do "PackagedAuto – Introduction" quest first. The quest asks you to get the guide book, and nothing else in the chapter comes before it.[3]
- Next comes "Package Recipe Encoder" quest. You need the Encoder, because that is how you encode recipes into recipe holders for the package crafters.[1][3]
- Then "Crafting" quest, followed by "Packager" quest and "Unpackager" quest. The Unpackager matters for this mod, because a package crafter goes next to one.[1][3]
- Finish with "ME Packaging Provider" quest. The book lists it after both the Packager and the Unpackager, and the Sculk Crafting quest comes after it.[3]
Step 2: Make the package crafters in quest order
The quest book asks for the crafters as a chain. "Sculk Crafting" quest comes first, then "Nether Crafting" quest, then "End Crafting" quest, and "Extreme Crafting" quest last. Building them in that order keeps you in step with the book. Here are the in-pack recipes.[3]
First is the Sculk Package Crafter.[4][5]

Then the Nether Package Crafter.[4][5]

Then the End Package Crafter.[4][5]

And last the Extreme Package Crafter.[4][5]

Step 3: Plan your power
All four crafters use energy, and the pack sets their values in its server config. Each one holds 5,000 FE and is set to draw energy from ME systems. The cost per operation and the maximum draw per tick climb with each crafter:[3][6]
- Sculk Package Crafter: 500 FE per operation (sculk_crafter.energy_req) and up to 250 FE/t (sculk_crafter.energy_usage).[6]
- Nether Package Crafter: 1,000 FE per operation (nether_crafter.energy_req) and up to 500 FE/t (nether_crafter.energy_usage).[6]
- End Package Crafter: 2,500 FE per operation (end_crafter.energy_req) and up to 1,250 FE/t (end_crafter.energy_usage).[6]
- Extreme Package Crafter: 5,000 FE per operation (extreme_crafter.energy_req) and up to 2,500 FE/t (extreme_crafter.energy_usage).[6]
Since the Extreme Package Crafter can draw up to 2,500 FE/t (extreme_crafter.energy_usage), make sure your ME network can supply that before you rely on it.[6]
How does PackagedAvaritia work?
3 parts
PackagedAvaritia is an addon to PackagedAuto and Avaritia that adds the ability to automatically craft items made using the Dire Crafting Table. It is designed to run without Applied Energistics 2, but installing it alongside AE2 is recommended. This pack includes the Extreme Package Crafter, Nether Package Crafter, End Package Crafter and Sculk Package Crafter.[1][5]
Setting up a crafter
The mod's own description covers the Extreme Package Crafter, so that is the setup I can walk you through. It works together with a PackagedAuto Unpackager rather than on its own.[1]
- Place the Extreme Package Crafter right next to an Unpackager.[1]
- Set the Unpackager to handle Extreme Crafting recipes.[1]
- Encode the recipes into recipe holders with the Encoder.[1]
- If the crafter is connected to an ME Network, it ejects its outputs into the network automatically.[1]
Power
The Extreme, Nether, End and Sculk Package Crafters each have the same set of FE options in the pack's server config file: whether the crafter draws energy from ME systems, how much FE it holds, how much FE one operation uses in total, and the maximum FE per tick it can use. In this pack the draw option is set to true for each of them: extreme_crafter.draw_me_energy, nether_crafter.draw_me_energy, end_crafter.draw_me_energy and sculk_crafter.draw_me_energy.[6]
Every crafter also holds 5,000 FE in this pack. You can see that in sculk_crafter.energy_capacity, nether_crafter.energy_capacity, end_crafter.energy_capacity and extreme_crafter.energy_capacity.[6]
The difference between the crafters is how much each operation costs and how fast they can draw power. These are the values this pack sets:[6]
- Sculk Package Crafter: 500 FE per operation, up to 250 FE/t. See sculk_crafter.energy_req and sculk_crafter.energy_usage.[6]
- Nether Package Crafter: 1,000 FE per operation, up to 500 FE/t. See nether_crafter.energy_req and nether_crafter.energy_usage.[6]
- End Package Crafter: 2,500 FE per operation, up to 1,250 FE/t. See end_crafter.energy_req and end_crafter.energy_usage.[6]
- Extreme Package Crafter: 5,000 FE per operation, up to 2,500 FE/t. See extreme_crafter.energy_req and extreme_crafter.energy_usage.[6]

Each crafter has its own recipe in the pack. Here they are exactly as the pack uses them.[4]

How do you progress through PackagedAvaritia?
3 parts
The Avaritia package crafters in this pack come in four tiers: Sculk, Nether, End and Extreme. The quest book unlocks them in that order, and each tier has its own in-pack recipe.[3][4]
Where it sits in the quest book
The quest book puts these crafters in the "Packaged" chapter, in the Production group.[3]
The quest book asks you to start with "PackagedAuto – Introduction" quest, then follow with "Package Recipe Encoder" quest and "Crafting" quest. After that it asks for the Packager and Unpackager quests ("Packager" quest and "Unpackager" quest), and both are listed as prerequisites of "ME Packaging Provider" quest.[3]
The quest book lists "ME Packaging Provider" quest as the prerequisite of every specialised crafter quest in the chapter. The Avaritia quests begin with "Sculk Crafting" quest, which asks you for the Sculk Package Crafter.[3]
The four tiers in order
- Sculk Package Crafter: the first tier. "Sculk Crafting" quest asks you to craft it, right after "ME Packaging Provider" quest. Its in-pack recipe is shown below.[3][4]
- Nether Package Crafter: the second tier. "Nether Crafting" quest asks you to craft it, after the Sculk Crafting quest. Its in-pack recipe is shown below.[3][4]
- End Package Crafter: the third tier. "End Crafting" quest asks you to craft it, after the Nether Crafting quest. Its in-pack recipe is shown below.[3][4]
- Extreme Package Crafter: the last tier in this chain. "Extreme Crafting" quest asks you to craft it, after the End Crafting quest. Its in-pack recipe is shown below.[3][4]
The quest book also has Elite, Epic, Ender, Fusion and other crafter quests that list "ME Packaging Provider" quest as their prerequisite. Each asks for a different crafter item, so they are separate from this Avaritia chain.[3]
Crafting each tier
All four crafters use a shaped crafting recipe, and the recipe dump lists each one as a mod recipe. Every one of them is built around the matching Avaritia crafting table, so you need to have that table's tier available first. The exact in-pack recipes are below.[3][4]

How does PackagedAvaritia work with other mods?
3 parts
PackagedAvaritia is a bridge between Avaritia and PackagedAuto, so almost everything it does in this pack comes from those two. Every crafter it adds is built from an Avaritia crafting table and a PackagedAuto part, which makes your Avaritia crafting something you can automate.[1][4]
Avaritia crafting tables
Each Package Crafter is based on the Avaritia table of the same name. All four recipes also use the ME Packaging Component from PackagedAuto, which is the link to the rest of the packaging setup.[4]
- Extreme Package Crafter goes with the Extreme Crafting Table.[4]
- End Package Crafter goes with the End Crafting Table.[4]
- Nether Package Crafter goes with the Nether Crafting Table.[4]
- Sculk Package Crafter goes with the Sculk Crafting Table.[4]
The Extreme Package Crafter also needs a Crystal Matrix Ingot on top of its table. Here are the exact in-pack recipes:[4]

Working with PackagedAuto and your ME network
For the Extreme Package Crafter, the mod's own description says to put it next to an Unpackager and have the Unpackager handle Extreme Crafting recipes. Those recipes are encoded into recipe holders with the Encoder. When the crafter is connected to an ME Network, it ejects its outputs into the network automatically. The mod can run without Applied Energistics 2, but installing it alongside is recommended.[1]
That description only covers the Extreme Package Crafter. For the End, Nether and Sculk crafters, I can't confirm from the sources how they are set up, so check them in game.[1]
In the quest book
The four crafters sit in the Packaged chapter, in the Production group (chapter 26 of 44), next to the other PackagedAuto addon crafters. Those other addon quests, such as Fusion Crafting and Elite Crafting, all unlock after "ME Packaging Provider" quest, and so does the first of ours.[3]
The PackagedAvaritia quests form their own chain: "Sculk Crafting" quest comes first, then "Nether Crafting" quest, then "End Crafting" quest, and finally "Extreme Crafting" quest.[3]
Which Project Infinity 0.1 quests use PackagedAvaritia?
2 parts
Everything for this mod lives in one chapter of the quest book: "Packaged", in the Production group (chapter 26 of 44, with 29 quests). Four of those quests ask for a crafter from this mod, and they form a single chain.[3]
Getting to the first Avaritia quest
The chapter opens with "PackagedAuto – Introduction" quest, and "Package Recipe Encoder" quest comes right after it. Next is "Crafting" quest, which leads to "Packager" quest and "Unpackager" quest. Once you have finished both of those, "ME Packaging Provider" quest opens up, and that is the quest the Avaritia chain hangs off.[3]
The four crafter quests, in order
- "Sculk Crafting" quest asks for the Sculk Package Crafter. It unlocks after "ME Packaging Provider" quest.[3]
- "Nether Crafting" quest asks for the Nether Package Crafter. It unlocks after Sculk Crafting.[3]
- "End Crafting" quest asks for the End Package Crafter. It unlocks after Nether Crafting.[3]
- "Extreme Crafting" quest asks for the Extreme Package Crafter. It unlocks after End Crafting, and no quest in the chapter follows it.[3]
Each of these quests has a single task: you hand in the crafter item itself. The tiers run Sculk, Nether, End, then Extreme, so you work through them one after another.[3]
Which PackagedAvaritia config options matter?
2 parts
Good news: everything you can tune for this mod lives in defaultconfigs/packagedavaritia-server.toml. It has a block of options for each crafter (Sculk, Nether, End and Extreme), and every crafter gets the same kinds of settings: how much FE the machine holds, how much FE an operation costs in total, the maximum FE/t it can use, and whether it draws power from an ME system.[6]
Energy values in this pack
- Sculk Package Crafter: sculk_crafter.energy_req is 500 FE per operation, sculk_crafter.energy_usage is 250 FE/t at most, and sculk_crafter.energy_capacity is 5,000 FE.[6]
- Nether Package Crafter: nether_crafter.energy_req is 1,000 FE per operation, nether_crafter.energy_usage is 500 FE/t at most, and nether_crafter.energy_capacity is 5,000 FE.[6]
- End Package Crafter: end_crafter.energy_req is 2,500 FE per operation, end_crafter.energy_usage is 1,250 FE/t at most, and end_crafter.energy_capacity is 5,000 FE.[6]
- Extreme Package Crafter: extreme_crafter.energy_req is 5,000 FE per operation, extreme_crafter.energy_usage is 2,500 FE/t at most, and extreme_crafter.energy_capacity is 5,000 FE.[6]
All of the energy options (capacity, per-operation cost and FE/t) must be above 0. Every crafter holds 5,000 FE, and the Extreme Package Crafter's cost per operation is exactly that full buffer, so plan your power supply around it.[6]
ME energy drawing
The draw_me_energy options (sculk_crafter.draw_me_energy, nether_crafter.draw_me_energy, end_crafter.draw_me_energy and extreme_crafter.draw_me_energy) are all set to true in this pack. That means each crafter is set to draw its energy from an ME system, so a crafter connected to your network can be powered by it.[6]
What changed in PackagedAvaritia between versions?
1 part
There isn't much version history to cover for PackagedAvaritia in this pack. Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 ships PackagedAvaritia 2.2.2.13, and the mod has been in the pack since Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.45.4 or earlier.[2]
PackagedAvaritia 2.2.2.13
The mod's own changelog for the version you're playing lists one change: it updates Re:Avaritia to 1.3.9.1.[7]
The pack changelogs have no entries for this mod, so nothing else is recorded about how it changed between pack releases.[2]
