What is AEInfinityBooster?
1 part
AEInfinityBooster is a small add-on for Applied Energistics 2 that adds an infinite range card and a dimension card. In this pack those show up as the Infinity Range Booster and the Dimension Card. The pack ships version 1.20.1-1.0.0+51 of AEInfinityBooster.[1][2][3]
Where it sits in the quest book
The pack's quest book covers both cards in its "Applied Energistics 2" chapter, which sits in the "Storage and Power" group.[1][3]
- Before: the quest book unlocks the a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" quest after the a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" quest. That earlier quest asks you to get the wireless access point, the wireless booster and the wireless terminal, and it follows the "ME Terminal" quest quest.[3]
- The Infinity Range Booster quest asks you to get the Infinity Range Booster.[3]
- After: the quest book unlocks the a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" quest straight after the Infinity Range Booster quest, and it asks you to get the Dimension Card. No other quest in the chapter lists it as a prerequisite.[3]
So the two cards form a short branch that starts from the wireless quests and ends with the Dimension Card.[3]
How do you get started with AEInfinityBooster?
2 parts
AEInfinityBooster adds two cards to Applied Energistics 2: the Infinity Range Booster and the Dimension Card. In this pack's quest book both sit in the Applied Energistics 2 chapter (group "Storage and Power", chapter 14 of 44), so your first steps are the AE2 basics that lead up to them.[1][3][4]
The path in order
- Start with "Welcome to Applied Energistics 2 !" quest. It asks for the Charger and the Meteorite Compass, and the Inscriber Presses and Fluix Crystal quests come after it.[3]
- Do "Inscriber Preses" quest, then "Processors" quest. The Processors quest asks for the Inscriber and the logic, calculation and engineering processors.[3]
- Make your ME Terminal with "ME Terminal" quest. The wireless quest comes after it.[3]
- Complete a quest in "Applied Energistics 2". It asks for the ME Wireless Access Point, the Wireless Booster and the Wireless Terminal, and the Infinity Range Booster quest comes right after it.[3]
- Craft the Infinity Range Booster for a quest in "Applied Energistics 2".[3]
- Finish with the Dimension Card for a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", which unlocks after the booster quest.[3]
Crafting the cards
The pack changes the Infinity Range Booster recipe, so follow the one below and not a recipe you remember from another pack or the mod's defaults.[5]

The Dimension Card uses the mod's own recipe, which the pack has not changed.[5]

This is the mod's own recipe, unchanged in the pack.
How does AEInfinityBooster work?
4 parts
AEInfinityBooster is a small add-on for Applied Energistics 2 that adds two cards: the Infinity Range Booster and the Dimension Card. There are no machines, multiblocks or power and fluid systems to learn here. The mod is all about these two items and how you get them.[1][4]
The two cards
The mod's project page describes them as an infinite range card and a dimension card for AE2. The Dimension Card is the next step up from the Infinity Range Booster, so you make the Infinity Range Booster first.[1][5]
Unverified The sources don't explain in detail what each card does in play, such as which AE2 devices accept them or how the range and dimension behaviour works. Test them in your own world before you build around them.
Crafting the Infinity Range Booster
The pack changes this recipe from the mod's own version. What you see below is the pack's recipe, so don't rely on the mod's defaults or on other guides for it.[5]

Crafting the Dimension Card
The Dimension Card uses the mod's own recipe, shaped crafting in a normal crafting grid. The pack doesn't change it.[5]

A use outside the mod
The pack also uses the Dimension Card as a component in one of its endgame recipes. A pack script adds an Extended Crafting shaped table recipe for the Wireless Transceiver, and the card is one of its ingredients.[6]

How do you progress through AEInfinityBooster?
4 parts
This mod is a short, two-step upgrade line for wireless range in Applied Energistics 2: the Infinity Range Booster first, then the Dimension Card. The pack's quest book follows the same order.[3][5]
Where it sits in the quest book
In the pack's quest book, the quests asking for the Infinity Range Booster and the Dimension Card both live in the Applied Energistics 2 chapter, in the "Storage and Power" group (chapter 14 of 44 in the book). The chapter starts at "Welcome to Applied Energistics 2 !" quest, and the wireless branch runs through "ME Terminal" quest and then a quest in "Applied Energistics 2".[3][5]
Tier 1: Infinity Range Booster
The quest that asks you for the Infinity Range Booster, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", comes right after the wireless access point quest, so the quest book puts it first among this mod's items. The wireless access point quest asks for an access point, a wireless booster and a wireless terminal, so you will already have the wireless basics by the time you reach it.[3][5]
The pack changed this recipe. What you craft here is not the mod's default, so use the recipe below as your reference.[5]
Crafting Shaped
| any netherite ingot | any netherite ingot | any netherite ingot |

Tier 2: Dimension Card
The next step is the Dimension Card. Its quest, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", asks you for it and comes directly after the Infinity Range Booster quest. No other quest in this chapter follows from it.[3][5]
The recipe is the mod's own. The pack does not change it.[5]

What the Dimension Card unlocks
The Dimension Card is also an ingredient in one of the pack's own endgame recipes. A KubeJS script adds an Extended Crafting shaped table recipe for the Wireless Transceiver, and the Dimension Card is one of its inputs. That is a big multi-slot crafting job, so treat the card as part of your late-game push and not only as a range upgrade.[6]
How does AEInfinityBooster work with other mods?
3 parts
AEInfinityBooster is an add-on for Applied Energistics 2 that adds the Infinity Range Booster and the Dimension Card. In this pack it connects to other mods through two recipes and through the quest book.[1][5]
Infinity Range Booster recipe
The pack changed the recipe for the Infinity Range Booster, so it is not the mod's default. It is a normal crafting table recipe that combines an Applied Energistics 2 item with vanilla items and a netherite ingot. Here is the exact in-pack version:[5]
Crafting Shaped
| any netherite ingot | any netherite ingot | any netherite ingot |
Recipe id: aeinfinitybooster:infinity_card
This recipe was changed by the pack.
Wireless Transceiver recipe
The pack also added a recipe for the Wireless Transceiver that uses the Dimension Card. It is crafted on an Extended Crafting shaped table, and the Dimension Card sits alongside items from Applied Energistics 2, other AE add-ons and a KubeJS item, Infinity 1. The script lives in the pack's endgame items folder, so expect to prepare a lot of AE2 parts first.[5][6]

In the quest book
Both of this mod's items are in the "Applied Energistics 2" chapter, in the "Storage and Power" group (chapter 14 of 44 in the book). The a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" quest comes right after a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", which asks for the wireless access point, the Wireless Booster and the wireless terminal. The a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" quest comes right after the booster quest.[3]
The Dimension Card is also one of the ingredients of the Wireless Transceiver. That recipe uses the ME Quantum Ring, the ME Quantum Link Chamber and the Singularity, which are the items behind the "Singularity" quest quest and the "Quantum Ring Multiblock" quest quest that follows it in the same chapter.[3][5]
The chapter has 6 more quests that are not shown in the sources here, so check the in-game quest book for anything else it says about these items.[3]
Which Project Infinity 0.1 quests use AEInfinityBooster?
2 parts
This mod has two quests in the pack, and both are in the Applied Energistics 2 chapter. That chapter is in the group "Storage and Power" and is chapter 14 of 44 in the quest book. It has 72 quests in total.[3]
The two quests
- a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks you to submit the Infinity Range Booster. It unlocks after a quest in "Applied Energistics 2".[3]
- a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks you to submit the Dimension Card. It unlocks after the Infinity Range Booster quest, so it is the last step of this little branch.[3]
How you get there
The Infinity Range Booster quest sits at the end of the wireless part of the chapter, so you work through the early AE2 quests first. The chapter opens with "Welcome to Applied Energistics 2 !" quest. After that comes "Inscriber Preses" quest, then "Processors" quest, then "ME Terminal" quest.[3]
a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" comes after the ME Terminal quest. It asks for three items together: a wireless access point, a wireless booster and a wireless terminal. Once that is done, the Infinity Range Booster quest opens.[3]
a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" also unlocks after the wireless access point quest. It is a separate branch, not part of this mod's quests.[3]
