What is IntegratedTunnels?
Same as in the All the Mods - Gravitas 4.0 guide
IntegratedTunnels is part of the pack, which ships version 1.8.19 of the mod (the file is IntegratedTunnels-1.18.2-1.8.19.jar, built for Minecraft 1.18.2). It was first included in this pack or an earlier version, so it isn't a recent addition.[1]
That is all I can confirm about the mod from the pack files I have. I have no in-pack documentation describing its features, recipes, configs or quests, so I'm not going to guess at them here.[1]
Unverified What the mod does in detail, who it suits best, and where it fits in the pack's progression (including any link to the ATM Star path or related quests) could not be confirmed from the available sources. Check the in-game recipe viewer for the mod's items before relying on any specifics. This site does hold FTB Evolution 2's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you get started with IntegratedTunnels?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide
IntegratedTunnels adds parts that move items, fluids and energy, and parts that act on the world around your network. The mod's own advancements suggest a natural order to build things in, so that's the order below. The recipe blocks show the exact in-pack recipes, so you always see the real ingredients.[2][3]
Start with the Item Importer and Item Exporter
Begin with the basic item pair. The Part Importer Item is the part the mod's advancements use for importing items, including importing everything or importing only the items on a list. The Part Exporter Item is the matching part for exporting items into an inventory.[2][3]

The exporter is also where limits come in. One of the mod's advancements has you export items into an inventory until 10 items are in it. So you can cap how much gets moved instead of flooding a chest.[3]
Then the Item Interface
Next, make the Part Interface Item. The mod has a separate advancement for crafting it. A filtering version, the Part Interface Filter Item, can restrict what an inventory exposes. The mod's examples are only passing items from a certain mod, or only exposing an inventory's contents during daytime.[2][3]

Try the world parts
Once inventories are sorted, try the parts that touch the world. The Part Importer World Block can break blocks, and the mod's example is breaking stone. The Part Importer World Item picks up items, and its example is picking up 5 items at a time. The Part Exporter World Item drops items. The Part Exporter World Block places blocks, for example any log by using the logs tag list.[2][3]

Fluids, energy and the Player Simulator
Fluid and energy have their own interfaces, importers and exporters, such as the Part Interface Fluid and Part Interface Energy. The Part Player Simulator can simulate clicking, and the mod's example is clicking with a Diamond Sword. I'd leave these until the item basics feel comfortable.[2][3]

How does IntegratedTunnels work?
6 parts
IntegratedTunnels gives you parts that move items, fluids and energy between a network and whatever sits next to it. Some parts work on inventories and tanks, some work on the world itself, and one pretends to be a player. Here is how each group behaves in this pack.[4][5]
The kinds of part
- Importers and exporters: there are item, fluid and energy versions, for example Part Importer Item, Part Exporter Fluid and Part Importer Energy. Their write aspects are simple: import or export that resource when the boolean is true.[4][5]
- Interfaces: Part Interface Item, Part Interface Fluid and Part Interface Energy expose a target to the network. The filtering versions, such as Part Interface Filter Item, pass resources only while the boolean is true. One of the mod's advancements has you use a Filtering Item Interface to expose an inventory only during daytime, or to pass only items from a certain mod.[4][5]
- World parts: world block, item, fluid and energy importers and exporters, such as Part Importer World Block and Part Exporter World Item. The world block importer picks up blocks in the world and the world block exporter places them. The world item exporter drops items, and the world item importer picks them up. The energy and fluid versions can also work with the entities they face.[4][5]
- Part Player Simulator: it can click with any item or with an empty hand, and it can simulate sneaking. It can also make the network available as the simulated player's inventory.[4][5]

Filtering and matching
Most of the fine control comes from boolean aspects. A blacklist setting means everything except the listed items is handled. An empty-is-any setting decides whether an empty value matches everything or nothing.[4]
- Amounts: the stack size check for items, the fluid amount check and the energy amount check each make a part move only exactly the given amount in one tick, not less. A separate exact-amount setting only moves ingredients whose slot contains exactly the given amount.[4]
- NBT: items and fluids each have require, subset, superset and recursive NBT options. Require means that anything without an NBT tag will not match. Recursive checks nested tags and lists.[4]
- Filter scope: an interface filter can apply to insertions into the network, to extractions from the network (including views), or both. One option passes everything when the filter is disabled for insert or extract.[4]
- Routing: the round-robin setting iterates interfaces in circular order and ignores priorities. A passive IO setting says whether the target may insert into or extract from the network, and a companion setting lets anything through regardless of the filter.[4]
- Crafting: a craft option makes the instance get crafted if it is not present in the network.[4]
World and player settings
The world-facing parts have their own aspects. Offsets are values between 0 and 1. Pitch and yaw run from -180 to 180 degrees, and velocity is an entity speed between 0 and 25. The entity index picks the n-th entity, and -1 always picks a random one. There is also a setting for breaking blocks only if they produce drops, and one that matches the item form of a block instead of its dropped items.[4]
The player simulator can also hold a continuous click. Without that setting each click takes one tick. A right-click duration setting gives the number of ticks the right click is held down.[4]
Reading the network
The mod can also report on what is stored. It can read the total item count and the upper limit of items the network can store, and the same for fluids. It can give a list of all items or all fluids, and the count of one given item or fluid. It can also give the number of valid interfaces for item or fluid storage.[4]
Energy cost
Each part has a base energy use set in the pack's config file. World parts and the player simulator have separate values for when they have a variable and when they do not. Fluid and energy importers and exporters, and the other world parts, have their own options in the same file. Here are a few examples as the pack sets them.[6]
- general.general.importerItemBaseConsumption is 1 in this pack.[6]
- general.general.exporterItemBaseConsumption is 1 in this pack.[6]
- general.general.interfaceItemBaseConsumption is 0 in this pack.[6]
- general.general.exporterWorldBlockBaseConsumptionDisabled is 1 in this pack. This is the world block exporter without a variable.[6]
- general.general.exporterWorldBlockBaseConsumptionEnabled is 32 in this pack. This is the world block exporter with a variable.[6]
- general.general.playerSimulatorBaseConsumptionDisabled is 1 in this pack. This is the player simulator without a variable.[6]
- general.general.playerSimulatorBaseConsumptionEnabled is 64 in this pack. This is the player simulator with a variable.[6]
Speed, sleeping and world behaviour
- Sleeping: an importer or exporter that fails to process for core.general.inventoryUnchangedTickCount ticks (3 in this pack) can start sleeping. It then waits core.general.inventoryUnchangedTickTimeout ticks (10 in this pack) before checking its targets again.[6]
- Fluid speed: core.general.fluidRateLimit caps the network fluid transfer rate, and this pack sets it to 2,147,483,647.[6]
- Block drops: with core.general.ejectItemsOnBlockDropOverflow on (as it is in this pack), items that do not fit into the target when a block is broken are ejected into the world. If it were off they would be voided.[6]
- Block blacklist: core.general.blockImporterBlacklist holds regex patterns for block ids that world block importers may not pick up. The pack leaves it empty.[6]
- Effects: core.general.worldInteractionEvents is on in this pack, so particles and sounds play when tunnels interact with the world.[6]
How do you progress through IntegratedTunnels?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide
There isn't a clear tier ladder for IntegratedTunnels in this pack that I can confirm. The recipe data lists the mod's crafting recipes, but it doesn't define tiers or an unlock order. What follows is how the parts are grouped, not a ranked progression.[2]
Unverified No pack quests were found for this mod, and it doesn't appear to be on the main quest path. If you want a guided order, check the quest book in-game yourself, because I can't confirm one here.
How the parts are grouped
Every part has its own crafting recipe in the pack. They fall into a few families, and you can pick the ones you need rather than working through a fixed order.[2]
- Importers and exporters for items, fluids and energy, for example Part Importer Item, Part Exporter Fluid and Part Importer Energy. Their recipes are shapeless.[2]
- World variants of importers and exporters, such as Part Importer World Block, Part Exporter World Item, Part Importer World Fluid and Part Exporter World Energy. These are also shapeless recipes.[2]
- Interfaces for items, fluids and energy: Part Interface Item, Part Interface Fluid and Part Interface Energy. These use shaped recipes.[2]
- Filter interfaces for items, fluids and energy, such as Part Interface Filter Item. Their recipes are shapeless.[2]
- The Part Player Simulator, which has a shaped recipe.[2]

Which IntegratedTunnels config options matter?
3 parts
Everything for IntegratedTunnels lives in one file, config/integratedtunnels-common.toml. Below are the options you are most likely to touch, with the exact values this pack sets. The sources here do not show the mod's own defaults, so I can't tell you which of these the pack changed.[6]
Transfer and sleeping
- core.general.fluidRateLimit is the maximum network fluid transfer rate. The pack sets it to 2,147,483,647.[6]
- core.general.inventoryUnchangedTickCount is how many ticks importers and exporters fail to process before they can start sleeping. The pack sets it to 3.[6]
- core.general.inventoryUnchangedTickTimeout is how many ticks they sleep before checking their targets again. The pack sets it to 10.[6]
World interaction
- core.general.blockImporterBlacklist is a list of regex patterns for block ids that world block importers may not import. In this pack the list is empty, so nothing is blocked.[6]
- core.general.ejectItemsOnBlockDropOverflow is set to true. If a block is broken and not all its drops fit into the target, the extra items are ejected into the world instead of being voided.[6]
- core.general.worldInteractionEvents is set to true, so particles are shown and sounds are played when tunnels interact with the world.[6]
Energy costs
Each part has a base energy usage option. The basic importers and exporters for items, fluids and energy all cost 1, for example general.general.importerItemBaseConsumption and general.general.exporterFluidBaseConsumption. The item, fluid and energy interfaces cost 0, for example general.general.interfaceItemBaseConsumption.[6]
Each world importer and exporter (block, item, fluid and energy) has a Disabled option and an Enabled option. Disabled applies when the part has no variable, and the pack sets it to 1. Enabled applies when the part has a variable, and the pack sets it to 32. Examples are general.general.importerWorldBlockBaseConsumptionDisabled and general.general.importerWorldBlockBaseConsumptionEnabled.[6]
The player simulator follows the same pattern but costs more with a variable: general.general.playerSimulatorBaseConsumptionDisabled is 1 and general.general.playerSimulatorBaseConsumptionEnabled is 64.[6]
