What is IntegratedTunnels?
Same as in the All the Mods - Gravitas 4.0 guide
IntegratedTunnels is part of the pack, which ships version 1.8.19 of the mod (the file is IntegratedTunnels-1.18.2-1.8.19.jar, built for Minecraft 1.18.2). It was first included in this pack or an earlier version, so it isn't a recent addition.[1]
That is all I can confirm about the mod from the pack files I have. I have no in-pack documentation describing its features, recipes, configs or quests, so I'm not going to guess at them here.[1]
Unverified What the mod does in detail, who it suits best, and where it fits in the pack's progression (including any link to the ATM Star path or related quests) could not be confirmed from the available sources. Check the in-game recipe viewer for the mod's items before relying on any specifics. This site does hold All the Mods 11's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you get started with IntegratedTunnels?
4 parts
IntegratedTunnels adds parts that move items, fluids and energy, and parts that act on the world around your network. The mod's own advancements suggest a natural order to build things in, so that's the order below. The recipe blocks show the exact in-pack recipes, so you always see the real ingredients.[2][3]
Start with the Item Importer and Item Exporter
Begin with the basic item pair. The Part Importer Item is the part the mod's advancements use for importing items, including importing everything or importing only the items on a list. The Part Exporter Item is the matching part for exporting items into an inventory.[2][3]

The exporter is also where limits come in. One of the mod's advancements has you export items into an inventory until 10 items are in it. So you can cap how much gets moved instead of flooding a chest.[3]
Then the Item Interface
Next, make the Part Interface Item. The mod has a separate advancement for crafting it. A filtering version, the Part Interface Filter Item, can restrict what an inventory exposes. The mod's examples are only passing items from a certain mod, or only exposing an inventory's contents during daytime.[2][3]

Try the world parts
Once inventories are sorted, try the parts that touch the world. The Part Importer World Block can break blocks, and the mod's example is breaking stone. The Part Importer World Item picks up items, and its example is picking up 5 items at a time. The Part Exporter World Item drops items. The Part Exporter World Block places blocks, for example any log by using the logs tag list.[2][3]

Fluids, energy and the Player Simulator
Fluid and energy have their own interfaces, importers and exporters, such as the Part Interface Fluid and Part Interface Energy. The Part Player Simulator can simulate clicking, and the mod's example is clicking with a Diamond Sword. I'd leave these until the item basics feel comfortable.[2][3]

How does IntegratedTunnels work?
5 parts
IntegratedTunnels adds parts that move items, fluids and energy between a network and the world around it. For each of the three resource types there is an importer, an exporter and an interface. Items and fluids also get a filtering interface, and so does energy. On top of that come world versions of the importers and exporters, plus a player simulator. Everything below comes from the mod's own descriptions and this pack's config.[2][3]
Importers, exporters and interfaces
Each importer or exporter has a boolean write aspect: it imports or exports items, fluids or energy while its boolean is true. The filtering interfaces use the same idea with a 'pass' boolean. A filtering interface only passes items, fluids or energy while its boolean is true. That is how you can expose an inventory only during daytime, or only let items from one mod through.[3]
Start with the basic parts: Part Importer Item, Part Exporter Item and Part Interface Item. The fluid and energy versions are Part Importer Fluid, Part Exporter Fluid, Part Interface Fluid, Part Importer Energy, Part Exporter Energy and Part Interface Energy. The filtering interfaces are Part Interface Filter Item, Part Interface Filter Fluid and Part Interface Filter Energy.[2][3]
The interface aspects describe how a storage hooks into the network. Passive IO decides whether the target may insert into or extract from the network. A second option lets anything be inserted or extracted regardless of the filter. For filtering interfaces you choose whether the filter applies to insertions into the network, to extractions from it (views included), or to both. There is also an option to pass everything when the filter is disabled for insertion or extraction. A round-robin option iterates interfaces in circular order and ignores their priorities.[3]
You can read the network back as values too. The mod offers read aspects for the number of valid item or fluid interfaces, the total and maximum count of items or fluids, a list of everything stored, and the count of one specific item or fluid.[3]
How matching and amounts work
- Blacklist: handle everything except the items in the given list.[3]
- Empty is any: an empty value either matches everything or matches nothing.[3]
- Exact amount: ingredients only move if their slot holds exactly the given amount. For stack sizes, fluid amounts and energy amounts, the check options mean that only exactly the given amount may move in one tick, not less.[3]
- NBT matching for items and fluids: you can require an NBT tag, require the given tag to be a subset or a superset of the stack's tag, and check nested tags recursively.[3]
- Slot-based predicates: predicates check slot by slot instead of treating stacked items or fluids as one pool.[3]
- Craft: the instance is crafted if it is not present in the network.[3]
Interacting with the world
The world importers and exporters (Part Importer World Item, Part Exporter World Item, Part Importer World Block, Part Exporter World Block, plus the fluid and energy versions) work on the world in front of them. The block versions pick up or place a given block. The item exporter places items into the world. The entity aspects import or export items, fluids and energy with the entities the part faces.[2][3]
World aspects have their own settings. Offsets run from 0 to 1. Pitch and yaw run from -180 to 180 degrees. Entity velocity runs from 0 to 25. The entity index picks the n-th entity, and -1 always picks a random one. You can also make a block break only if it produces drops, and match the item form of a block instead of its dropped items.[3]
The Part Player Simulator clicks with any item or with an empty hand. It can simulate a continuous click, otherwise each click takes one tick. It can also simulate sneaking.[2][3]
In this pack, core.general.blockImporterBlacklist is an empty list, so no block ids are blocked from world block importers. The option takes regex patterns if you want to add some. core.general.ejectItemsOnBlockDropOverflow is true, so drops that don't fit into the target are ejected into the world instead of voided. core.general.ejectItemsOnInconsistentSimulationMovement is also true, so items are ejected instead of possibly voided when an item handler reports inconsistent movement in simulation. core.general.worldInteractionEvents is true, so tunnels show particles and play sounds when they interact with the world.[4]
Energy cost of each part
Every part has a base energy usage in the config. In this pack the basic item, fluid and energy importers and exporters use 1 each, for example general.general.importerItemBaseConsumption. The interfaces use 0, for example general.general.interfaceItemBaseConsumption, so they cost nothing to keep running.[4]
The world parts and the player simulator charge differently depending on whether they have a variable. Take the world block exporter: general.general.exporterWorldBlockBaseConsumptionDisabled is 1 without a variable, and general.general.exporterWorldBlockBaseConsumptionEnabled is 32 with one. The player simulator follows the same pattern: general.general.playerSimulatorBaseConsumptionDisabled is 1 and general.general.playerSimulatorBaseConsumptionEnabled is 64. The other world importers and exporters have matching Disabled and Enabled options in the same file, and a configured part is much more expensive to run than an idle one.[4]
Sleeping and rate limits
Importers and exporters go to sleep when nothing changes. In this pack they must fail to process for core.general.inventoryUnchangedTickCount = 3 ticks before they can sleep. They then sleep for core.general.inventoryUnchangedTickTimeout = 10 ticks before checking their targets again. Because of this, a freshly filled chest can take a moment to be noticed.[4]
The maximum network fluid transfer rate, core.general.fluidRateLimit, is set to 2,147,483,647 in this pack.[4]
Unverified The crafting ingredients for these parts could not be confirmed, because the recipe data available lists no inputs for them. Per-tick item and fluid transfer amounts, and whether any of the config values above differ from the mod's own defaults, are also unconfirmed.
How do you progress through IntegratedTunnels?
2 parts
There isn't a clear tier ladder for IntegratedTunnels in this pack that I can confirm. The recipe data lists the mod's crafting recipes, but it doesn't define tiers or an unlock order. What follows is how the parts are grouped, not a ranked progression.[2]
Unverified No pack quests were found for this mod, and it doesn't appear to be on the main quest path. If you want a guided order, check the quest book in-game yourself, because I can't confirm one here.
How the parts are grouped
Every part has its own crafting recipe in the pack. They fall into a few families, and you can pick the ones you need rather than working through a fixed order.[2]
- Importers and exporters for items, fluids and energy, for example Part Importer Item, Part Exporter Fluid and Part Importer Energy. Their recipes are shapeless.[2]
- World variants of importers and exporters, such as Part Importer World Block, Part Exporter World Item, Part Importer World Fluid and Part Exporter World Energy. These are also shapeless recipes.[2]
- Interfaces for items, fluids and energy: Part Interface Item, Part Interface Fluid and Part Interface Energy. These use shaped recipes.[2]
- Filter interfaces for items, fluids and energy, such as Part Interface Filter Item. Their recipes are shapeless.[2]
- The Part Player Simulator, which has a shaped recipe.[2]
Example recipes
Here are the in-pack recipes for a basic importer, a basic exporter, an item interface and the player simulator. The site shows the exact ingredients for each.[2]

Which IntegratedTunnels config options matter?
3 parts
Everything for IntegratedTunnels lives in one file, config/integratedtunnels-common.toml. Here is exactly how this pack has it set up, so you know what to expect before you build your first tunnel.[4]
Energy use
Every importer and exporter has a base energy cost, and the world-interacting ones cost much more once you give them a variable. Without a variable they stay cheap.[4]
- The plain item, fluid and energy importers and exporters each use a base of 1, for example general.general.importerItemBaseConsumption and general.general.exporterFluidBaseConsumption.[4]
- The world block, world item, world fluid and world energy importers and exporters use 1 when they have no variable, for example general.general.importerWorldItemBaseConsumptionDisabled. With a variable they use 32, for example general.general.exporterWorldBlockBaseConsumptionEnabled.[4]
- The player simulator uses 1 without a variable (general.general.playerSimulatorBaseConsumptionDisabled) and 64 with one (general.general.playerSimulatorBaseConsumptionEnabled). That makes it the most expensive tunnel part in this file.[4]
- The item, fluid and energy interfaces have a base consumption of 0, for example general.general.interfaceItemBaseConsumption.[4]
Item safety
core.general.ejectItemsOnBlockDropOverflow is true. If a world importer breaks a block and the drops don't all fit in the target, the extras are ejected into the world. They are not voided.[4]
core.general.ejectItemsOnInconsistentSimulationMovement is also true. If an item handler reports inconsistent movement in simulation mode, the items are ejected instead of risking being voided.[4]
core.general.blockImporterBlacklist is an empty list in this pack. No block ids are blocked from world block importers. The option accepts regex patterns if you want to add some.[4]
Transfer and performance
- core.general.fluidRateLimit is 2,147,483,647, so the network fluid transfer rate is effectively uncapped.[4]
- core.general.inventoryUnchangedTickCount is 3. That is how many ticks an importer or exporter fails to process before it can start sleeping.[4]
- core.general.inventoryUnchangedTickTimeout is 10. That is how many ticks a sleeping importer or exporter waits before checking its targets again.[4]
- core.general.worldInteractionEvents is true, so tunnels show particles and play sounds when they interact with the world.[4]
Unverified The config file only shows this pack's current values. It does not show the mod's own defaults, so which of these values the pack changed is unverified.
