What is XyCraft World?

XyCraft World is part of the pack in version 0.7.45, and it has been in the pack since ATM10 0.47 or earlier. The pack's quest book gives it its own "xycraft" chapter, plus a quest in the building tips chapter.[1][2][3]
Where it shows up in the quests
The "xycraft" chapter starts with a quest that has an item task for Kivi: a quest in "?".[2]
Five more quests in that chapter each have an item task for one Xychorium gem colour. All five unlock after the same earlier quest.[2]

The building tips chapter has quest a quest in "?". It accepts any one of four lamps from this mod: RGB Lantern Lamp, RGB Flush Lamp, RGB Cube Lamp or RGB Pillar Lamp. If you like decorating your base, these lamps are a good place to start.[3]
Unverified The sources I have don't show XyCraft World on the ATM Star quest path. They also don't cover how the mod works, its crafting recipes or its config options, so none of that is described here.
How do you get started with XyCraft World?

Your first goal with XyCraft World is Kivi. In this pack the Xychorium gems are made from it, and the RGB lantern lamp recipe uses it too. So the order is: get Kivi, turn it into gems, then spend those on lighting and building.[2][4]
Step 1: Get some Kivi
The pack's quest chapter for this mod has a quest that asks you to obtain Kivi (a quest in "?"). The pack adds a crafting recipe that turns Mystical Agriculture's Kivi Essence into Kivi.[2][4]

This recipe is added by the pack, it is not a default of the mod.
The mod also has an Extractor machine recipe that makes Kivi from water.[4]
Step 2: Turn Kivi into Xychorium gems
Next come the gems. The mod's Crusher recipe takes an item from the Kivi tag and gives you the Blue, Dark, Green, Light and Red Xychorium gems. The gem quests in the same chapter ask for each color and unlock after an earlier quest in that chapter. They are a quest in "?" (blue), a quest in "?" (dark), a quest in "?" (green), a quest in "?" (light) and a quest in "?" (red).[2][4]

Step 3: Light up your base
The mod has simple torches that you can make from an ingot or from the raw material, plus a wooden rod.[4]

When you want something nicer, try the RGB lamps. The recipe below makes the RGB Lantern Lamp. The building tips chapter has a quest that accepts any of the lamp shapes: RGB Lantern Lamp, RGB Flush Lamp, RGB Cube Lamp or RGB Pillar Lamp (a quest in "?").[3][4]

Step 4: Build with aluminum
For decorative building, craft Aluminum Bricks and then Aluminum Tiles. Colored variants such as Blue Aluminum Bricks exist too, and they use Xychorium gems. The recipes are below.[4]

How does XyCraft World work?

Here's the honest picture for this pack: the sources I have for XyCraft World don't explain any machines, multiblocks, power, fluid or item automation. What they do confirm is a set of crafting chains for building blocks, a torch and gem storage. I'm covering only those, and I won't guess at the rest.[4]
Unverified Machines, multiblock structures, power and fluid handling, and item automation for XyCraft World are not covered by the sources available here (no in-jar guidebook, no config files for this mod in the pack, no documentation). A Reinforced Glass Viewer block exists in the mod's language file, but nothing available explains how it works.
Aluminum bricks and tiles
The basic building chain starts with Aluminum Bricks, which are crafted from an aluminum ingot tag. Aluminum Tiles come a step later: you craft them from the bricks.[4]

Tiles are made from the plain bricks.
There are coloured variants in blue, dark, green, light and red. Each colour has a brick version, such as Blue Aluminum Bricks, and a tile version, such as Blue Aluminum Tiles. The coloured bricks use Xychorium gems and a colour tag. Every colour has a direct recipe from aluminum ingots, plus an alternative that starts from plain Aluminum Bricks you've already made. The coloured tiles are crafted from the matching coloured bricks.[4]

Xychorium gem storage
Xychorium gems come in the same colours, for example Blue Xychorium Gem. Each colour can be packed into a storage block, such as Blue Xychorium Gem Storage. The recipe ids contain the word "forced", and the recipe takes a colour tag as an input.[4]

Aluminum Torch
The Aluminum Torch can be crafted from aluminum ingots and a wooden rod, or from raw aluminum and a wooden rod, so you can make torches at either stage of processing.[4]

Kivi
Kivi has a crafting recipe added by the pack itself, so it is not a XyCraft World default. It takes a Mystical Agriculture essence as its input.[4]

How do you progress through XyCraft World?

In this pack, XyCraft World progression comes from a short quest chain in the xycraft chapter rather than a ladder of tiers. The practical path is to get Kivi, turn it into Xychorium gems, then spend those gems on building blocks and lamps.[2][4]
Step 1: Kivi
The xycraft chapter has a quest that asks you to obtain Kivi a quest in "?". The mod's own extractor recipes make Kivi from water, and several variants list no item inputs at all. The pack also adds its own crafting recipe that turns Mystical Agriculture's Kivi essence into Kivi.[2][4]

Step 2: Xychorium gems
Five quests cover the gem colours: Blue Xychorium Gem a quest in "?", Dark Xychorium Gem a quest in "?", Red Xychorium Gem a quest in "?", Green Xychorium Gem a quest in "?" and Light Xychorium Gem a quest in "?". They all unlock after the same earlier quest, so you can do them in any order.[2]
There are two routes to the gems. The mod's crusher turns Kivi into all five colours. The pack also adds an extractor recipe for each gem that lists no item inputs.[2][4]

Step 3: Building with your gems
Once you have gems, the aluminum blocks are the main place to use them. Plain Aluminum Bricks have their own recipe, and the coloured cloud variants, such as Blue Aluminum Bricks, have separate recipes that bring in a Xychorium gem. Each brick type can be crafted into matching tiles, for example Blue Aluminum Tiles.[4]

The glass viewers have their own mini-ladder: you upgrade Reinforced Glass Viewer to Immortal Glass Viewer with one more recipe.[4]

Lamps and the building tips quest
In the building_tips chapter, one quest asks you to obtain any of the four RGB lamps: RGB Lantern Lamp, RGB Flush Lamp, RGB Cube Lamp or RGB Pillar Lamp a quest in "?".[3]
The crafting recipe shown for the lamps makes the lantern lamp, and it uses Kivi and a Xychorium gem. After that, the stonecutter converts a lamp into the other shapes.[4]

How does XyCraft World work with other mods?

XyCraft World connects to other mods in this pack in a few ways: a pack-added Mystical Agriculture recipe for Kivi, colored versions of vanilla blocks made with Xychorium gems, and a refinery recipe from XyCraft Machines that uses Aluminum Ingots. The quest book also has a lamp quest in its building tips chapter.[2][3][4]
Mystical Agriculture: Kivi
The pack adds its own crafting recipe that turns Kivi Essence into Kivi. It's a pack addition, so don't expect it from the mod by itself.[4]

Colored vanilla blocks from Xychorium gems
Xychorium gems come in blue, dark, green, light and red. Many vanilla building blocks have colored versions that use these gem colors, with the results living in the xycraft_override namespace. Vanilla bases include Bricks, Crying Obsidian, End Stone Bricks and Deepslate Tiles. There are also chiseled bases such as Chiseled Sandstone, Chiseled Tuff and Chiseled Stone Bricks.[4]

Wood pillars work a little differently. The colored Blue Chiseled Wood Pillar takes the gem plus any planks, so any wood type works.[4]

Deepslate follows the same idea, with one twist. Red Deepslate Bricks is made from Polished Deepslate and a gem.[4]
The quest book covers the gems too. The xycraft chapter has one quest per gem color: a quest in "?" for blue, a quest in "?" for dark, a quest in "?" for green, a quest in "?" for light and a quest in "?" for red. They all come after the same earlier quest.[2]
XyCraft Machines refinery
The link here is XyCraft Machines' refinery recipe for aluminum ore slurry. It involves Ore Slurry, Nitrogen and XyCraft World's Aluminum Ingot, and the block below shows the exact in-pack recipe. It's a mod recipe, not a pack change.[4]

Which All the Mods 10 quests use XyCraft World?

The mod shows up in two quest chapters in the pack: its own "xycraft" chapter and the "building_tips" chapter. All of these quests are untitled in the quest book, so you'll know them by the item they ask for.[5][6]
The xycraft chapter
The chapter has six quests, and each one is a simple item task: you just need to obtain the item. The first is a quest in "?", which asks for Kivi. No prerequisite is listed for it.[5]
The other five quests all unlock after the same earlier quest, a quest in "?". Once that one is done, you can take them in any order, since none of them depends on another. Each asks for one gem colour:[5]

Unverified The quest files don't say what a quest in "?" and a quest in "?" ask for, or which chapter they belong to. They also give no rewards for these quests, so check in-game for those details.
