What is Soulplied Energistics?
Soulplied Energistics is one of the mods that ships with the pack. This pack includes version 1.0.3 (the file soulplied_energistics-1.0.3.jar), and the mod has been in the pack since version 2.25 or earlier.[1]
Unverified I couldn't confirm what Soulplied Energistics adds, who it's best suited to, or where it fits in the pack's progression. There is no in-jar guidebook and no platform description to draw from. Check the mod in-game before relying on any specific feature.
Unverified The sources don't show any quests for this mod, and it doesn't appear to be on the ATM Star path. Treat both as unconfirmed until you've checked the quest book yourself.
How do you get started with Soulplied Energistics?
2 parts
Soulplied Energistics is a small bridge between Industrial Foregoing and Applied Energistics 2. The pack's quest book covers it with a single quest, "Soulplied Energistics" quest, in the Industrial Foregoing chapter. It comes right after the Industrial Foregoing Souls quest, so that is the one to finish first.[2]
What the quest asks for
The quest asks you to hand in an ME Interface and an ME Storage Bus. Its idea is simple: if you would rather not carry Soul Pipes around, you can use your AE2 network instead.[2]
First steps, in order
- Get to the Industrial Foregoing Souls quest in the Industrial Foregoing chapter and finish it. Soulplied Energistics follows directly after it.[2]
- Set up a Soul Laser Base, which is the machine that holds the Souls.[2]
- Put an ME Storage Bus on top of the Soul Laser Base. This lets your ME network access the Souls inside.[2]
- Request the Souls to be held in ME Interface blocks on your network.[2]
Unverified No in-pack crafting recipe for items from this mod could be confirmed, so no recipe is shown here. The 11 Industrial Foregoing quests I couldn't read are in the quest book, so check there for any extra detail.
How do you progress through Soulplied Energistics?
5 parts
In the pack's quest book, Soulplied Energistics sits near the end of the Industrial Foregoing chapter. The chapter has you climb through four Machine Frame tiers first, and the AE2 quest only follows the Souls quest. Here is the route, step by step.[2]
Tier 1: Pity frame and Plastic
The chapter starts with "Industrial Foregoing" quest, which is marked Tier 1 and asks you to craft a Pity Machine Frame. The quest book lists a few early options after it, like the Pitiful Generator, which the quest describes as generating a small amount of FE from burnable fuels like Coal.[2]
The quest book calls Plastic the main resource of Industrial Foregoing, and the route it lays out is Latex to Dry Rubber to Plastic. The Fluid Extractor extracts Latex from logs, and the quest says Acacia and Mangrove give the most. The Latex Processing Unit is described as using 750 mB of Latex and 500 mB of Water to produce 1 Dry Rubber, and the quests say that smelting Dry Rubber gives you Plastic.[2]
In the quest book, a lot of the chapter hangs off Plastic, including the Mob Slaughter Factory, Bio Power, Conveyors and the Dissolution Chamber. You do not have to do all of it, but the Tier 2 quest comes after the Dissolution Chamber.[2]
Tier 2: Simple Machine Frame
"Simple Machine Frame" quest is marked Tier 2 and comes after a quest in "Industrial Foregoing". The Dissolution Chamber quest says it is used to craft more advanced machines: you put a certain fluid in it along with the items needed for what you are crafting, and it tells you to check JEI. The frame the quest asks for is Simple Machine Frame.[2]
Tier 3: Advanced Machine Frame
"Advanced Machine Frame" quest is marked Tier 3 and comes after both the Simple Machine Frame and "Pink Slime \& Liquid Meat" quest. In the quest book, that second quest follows the Mob Slaughter Factory, which the quest describes as converting mobs into Pink Slime and Liquid Meat.[2]
In the quest book, the biggest group of quests comes after this tier, including the Laser Drill, Stasis Chamber, Enchantment machines, Mob Crusher and Mob Duplicator. For this guide, the important ones are these:[2]
- "Laser Drill" quest: the quest describes the Ore Laser Base as Industrial Foregoing's Void Miner, and says the Fluid Laser Base produces fluids out of thin air or from specific mobs.[2]
- a quest in "Industrial Foregoing": the quest says it can hold mobs in place in its working area and that mobs held under stasis are healed by it.[2]
- a quest in "Industrial Foregoing": the quest says Laser Lenses can make Ore Lasers focus more on a certain color of ore, and that the lens also determines what fluid type can be produced by Fluid Lasers.[2]
Tier 4: Supreme frame and Ether Gas
"Supreme Machine Frame" quest is marked Tier 4 and comes after "Ether Gas" quest, which in turn follows the Laser Drill and the Purple Laser Lens. The quest book describes Ether Gas as Wither Milk, not a Mekanism chemical, and the Ether Gas chapter text says it is made by drilling a Wither with a Fluid Drill and a Purple Lens.[2]
The quest book says a Stasis Chamber freezes in place anything on top of it in a 3x3 area, including the Wither. It recommends Wither-proof glass for the setup, such as Tinted Glass from Mob Grinding Utils.[2]
In the quest book, the Supreme Machine Frame quest is followed by the Mycelial Reactor, the Wither Builder and several more Mycelial Generators.[2]
Souls, then the AE2 link
Also after the Supreme Machine Frame is "Industrial Foregoing AEB9Souls" quest. It asks for the Blue Laser Lens, the Soul Laser Base, the Soul Pipe and the Soul Surge. The quest says the Soul Laser Base works similarly to a Fluid Laser Base extracting Ether Gas from a Wither, but uses the Blue Laser Lens to extract Souls from a Warden. Soul Surges use those Souls to accelerate blocks.[2]
In the quest book, "Soulplied Energistics" quest comes right after the Souls quest and asks for an ME Interface and an ME Storage Bus. The quest says that if you prefer not bringing Soul Pipes around, you can put an ME Storage Bus on top of the Soul Laser Base so your ME network can access the Souls inside, and that these can be requested to be held in ME Interfaces.[2]
There is also a quest after Souls, "Soul Storage?" quest, which asks for the 1K Soul Storage Part. Its text says the Industrial Foregoing developer did not want Souls to be a resource you store, and that Ultramega makes it storable anyway.[2]
Which All the Mods 10 quests use Soulplied Energistics?
3 parts
In this pack's quest book, Soulplied Energistics has one quest, and it sits inside the Industrial Foregoing chapter. It has no chapter of its own, so you reach it by working through that chapter's machine tiers first.[2]
The quest itself
"Soulplied Energistics" quest asks you to hand in an ME Interface and an ME Storage Bus. Its text offers AE2 as an option if you prefer not bringing Soul Pipes around: you can put an ME Storage Bus on top of the Soul Laser Base to let your ME network access the Souls inside, and these can be requested to be held in ME Interfaces.[2]
The route to get there
In the quest book, this quest comes after "Industrial Foregoing AEB9Souls" quest, which sits at the end of a long chain. Here is that chain in order:[2]
- Start with "Industrial Foregoing" quest (Tier 1), which asks for the Pity Machine Frame.[2]
- Work toward Plastic. The quests run a quest in "Industrial Foregoing", "Latex" quest, a quest in "Industrial Foregoing", a quest in "Industrial Foregoing" and then a quest in "Industrial Foregoing".[2]
- The a quest in "Industrial Foregoing" quest comes after Plastic, and "Simple Machine Frame" quest (Tier 2) comes after it.[2]
- "Advanced Machine Frame" quest (Tier 3) comes after the Simple Machine Frame quest and "Pink Slime \& Liquid Meat" quest, which itself comes after a quest in "Industrial Foregoing".[2]
- The Ether Gas prerequisites are "Laser Drill" quest, a quest in "Industrial Foregoing" and a quest in "Industrial Foregoing", all after the Advanced Machine Frame. An untitled quest, a quest in "Industrial Foregoing", comes after these and is about getting your first Ether Gas.[2]
- "Ether Gas" quest comes after the Laser Drill and the Purple Laser Lens quests.[2]
- "Supreme Machine Frame" quest (Tier 4) comes after Ether Gas.[2]
- "Industrial Foregoing AEB9Souls" quest comes after the Supreme Machine Frame, and then "Soulplied Energistics" quest follows it.[2]
What the Souls quest sets up
The quest before ours asks for the Blue Laser Lens, the Soul Laser Base, the Soul Network Pipe and the Soul Surge. Its text says the Soul Laser Base works similarly to a Fluid Laser Base extracting Ether Gas from a Wither, and that it uses the Blue Laser Lens to extract Souls from a Warden. The quest says these Souls will be used by Soul Surges in order to accelerate blocks.[2]
"Soul Storage?" quest also comes after the Souls quest and asks for 1K Soul Storage Part. Its text says Ultramega makes Souls storable, and its tip is to use a Regulator Upgrade to prevent the Exporter from dumping all your souls into the connected Soul Pipe.[2]
What changed in Soulplied Energistics between versions?
1 part
Soulplied Energistics has been in All the Mods 10 since version 2.25 or earlier, and All the Mods 10 8.1 ships version 1.0.3 of it (soulplied_energistics-1.0.3.jar).[1]
Version updates across pack releases
- All the Mods 10 4.5 updated the mod from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2.[3]
- All the Mods 10 7.2 updated the mod from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3, which is the version you have in 8.1.[1][4]
Unverified The pack changelogs only list the version bumps. What actually changed inside Soulplied Energistics 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 (fixes, features or balance) is unverified, because the sources here include no stored changelogs for the shipped jars.

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as soulplied_energistics, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
