Everything is Copper is a small add-on mod that works with copper-based gear. In this pack you'll see it through two items: Copper Sword and Copper Pickaxe. The pack ships version 1.21.1-2.3.7, and it has been included since 0.53 or earlier.^[1][2]

Where it fits in progression

The mod shows up very early, in the "basic_tools" quest chapter. One quest, a quest in "?", asks you to get a Copper Sword.^[2]

The other quest, a quest in "?", is flexible. It accepts the Copper Pickaxe or any of four pickaxes from other mods. Copper is just one way to finish it, so you can use whichever pickaxe you reach first.^[2]

Who it's for

If you're just starting out and want basic tools before the bigger tech mods open up, this is your entry point. Nothing in the sources shows it playing a role later in the game.^[2]

Unverified The sources don't give a full list of what Everything is Copper adds, its crafting recipes, its tool stats, or any config options, so none of those are covered here.

Everything is Copper adds copper tools, armor and utility blocks, and the pack's quest book has chapters for basic tools and basic armor. Start with the tools, then the armor, then branch out into the utility blocks.^[3][4][5]

Copper pickaxe

Make Copper Pickaxe first. It has its own quest, a quest in "?", in the basic tools chapter. That quest also accepts a bronze, osmium or Ferricore pickaxe from other mods, so you can finish it with whichever you get first.^[3][5]

Next is Copper Sword, the task for a quest in "?". The sword and pickaxe quests both unlock after the same earlier quest in the chapter, so you can do them in either order.^[3][5]

What to look at next

Once you're kitted out, the mod has copper versions of utility blocks, including Copper Lantern, Copper Rail, everythingcopper:copper_minecart and Copper Hopper. Many of them also have exposed, oxidized and waxed variants. A waxed variant is made by combining the item with a waxing item.^[5]

Everything is Copper is a content mod, not a tech mod. The sources for this pack show no machines, multiblocks, power or fluid systems from it. What they do show is a set of copper versions of vanilla items, a few of which matter for item handling and automation.^[5][6]

Item handling: the Copper Hopper

The Copper Hopper is the mod's item-handling block. It has its own crafting recipe in this pack, shown below. The sources don't say how it differs from the vanilla hopper, so its transfer speed, inventory size and any special behavior are unverified.^[5]

Waxed variants

Several blocks have a waxed version, including the anvil, bars, button, chain, hopper, ladder and lantern. Each is a shapeless recipe: you combine the unwaxed block with any item from the mod's waxing items tag. For example, the Waxed Copper Hopper comes from the Copper Hopper this way.^[5]

Other things to know

The mod's language file includes an advancement about summoning a Copper Golem. It also has one for eating a copper nugget. The sources give no details on how either works beyond those descriptions.^[6]

Unverified No config files, guidebook or official documentation were available for this mod in the pack, so any tunable values or deeper mechanics are unconfirmed.

Everything is Copper builds a whole kit out of copper, from tools and armor to rails, hoppers and lanterns. In this pack the quests only touch the early part of that kit: tools and armor.^[3][4][5]

Copper tools

The basic_tools chapter has quests from this mod. a quest in "?" asks you to get a Copper Sword. a quest in "?" is about a pickaxe. Both unlock after an earlier quest in the same chapter.^[3]

The pickaxe quest is flexible. The Copper Pickaxe completes it, but so do a bronze pickaxe, an osmium pickaxe or a ferricore pickaxe from other mods. If you've already moved on to another metal, you don't have to go back and craft copper.^[3]

Beyond tools and armor, the quest sources show no further quests for this mod, so everything else is optional. The Copper Anvil, Copper Hopper, Copper Rail, Copper Ladder and Copper Bars all have in-pack recipes.^[3][4][5]

For transport, the mod adds the everythingcopper:copper_minecart and chest, furnace, hopper and TNT versions of it: everythingcopper:chest_copper_minecart, everythingcopper:furnace_copper_minecart, everythingcopper:hopper_copper_minecart and everythingcopper:tnt_copper_minecart.^[5]

Weathering and waxing

Many of the mod's blocks come in exposed, weathered and oxidized versions, such as the Exposed Copper Anvil, Weathered Copper Anvil and Oxidized Copper Anvil. Waxed versions exist too, for example the Waxed Copper Anvil.^[5]

In this pack, Everything is Copper connects to other mods mainly through the copper nugget. Every copper tool and armor piece from the mod can be melted down into an Copper Nugget, which comes from All the Ores rather than from this mod.^[7]

Recycling copper gear into nuggets

Three recipes turn the same set of items into a copper nugget: the sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, shears, helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots and horse armor. You can use a normal furnace, a blast furnace, or Ender IO's alloy smelting.^[7]

The furnace and blast furnace recipes are marked as changed by the pack, while the Ender IO one is an addition from the pack. The sources don't say what exactly was changed in the first two, so I can't tell you how they differ from the mod's defaults.^[7]

Quests that mix mods

The "basic_tools" quest chapter has two quests that use this mod's items. One of them, a quest in "?", asks for the Copper Sword and nothing else.^[2]

The other, a quest in "?", accepts any one of several pickaxes from different mods. Your Copper Pickaxe counts, and so do a Railcraft steel pickaxe, Mekanism Tools osmium and bronze pickaxes, or a Just Dire Things ferricore pickaxe.^[2]

Everything is Copper shows up in a single quest chapter in this pack: basic_tools. It has two quests that involve the mod, so this section is short.^[2]

Copper sword

The quest a quest in "?" has one task: hand in a Copper Sword. It's the only task in the quest, and it needs the mod's own item.^[2]

Any of several pickaxes

The quest a quest in "?" asks for a pickaxe, but it's flexible. The Copper Pickaxe counts, and so do the steel pickaxe from Railcraft, the osmium and bronze pickaxes from Mekanism Tools, and the ferricore pickaxe from Just Dire Things. You only need one of them, so if you already have one of those, you can use it for this quest.^[2]

Unverified The quest data doesn't say whether these two quests depend on each other or have to be completed in a particular order, and neither quest has a title. Check the in-game quest book to see how they connect.
