What is All the Wizard Gear?
1 part
All the Wizard Gear is a mod in this pack that adds spell books named after the pack's top-tier metals. The pack ships version 1.21-1.1.6, and it has been in the pack since 0.32 or earlier.[1]
The pack's files only show three of its items: the Allthemodium Spell Book, the Vibranium Spell Book and the Unobtainium Spell Book. If you like casting spells and want gear to match the pack's late-game metals, these are the ones to look at.[2]
Where it fits in progression
The pack's quest book gives you a clear order. In the "iron_spells_and_spellbooks" chapter, three quests ask you to obtain the spell books one after another.[2]
- Quest a quest in "?" asks for the Allthemodium Spell Book. It unlocks after an earlier quest in the same chapter.[2]
- Quest a quest in "?" asks for the Vibranium Spell Book and unlocks after the Allthemodium one.[2]
- Quest a quest in "?" asks for the Unobtainium Spell Book and unlocks after the Vibranium one.[2]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what the spell books do, how they are crafted, or whether the mod adds anything beyond them. I also found no sign that this mod is on the ATM Star quest path. Treat all of that as unconfirmed until it has been checked in-game.
How do you get started with All the Wizard Gear?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.57 guide
All the Wizard Gear is a tier ladder. Every piece is made at a smithing table, and each metal tier upgrades the previous one: Allthemodium first, then Vibranium, then Unobtainium. So your first steps are about getting onto the bottom rung and climbing in order.[3]
Step 1: Make the Allthemodium Spell Book
Start with the Allthemodium Spell Book. It is a smithing upgrade of a spell book from another mod, not a normal crafting recipe, and it is the entry point for the book line. The pack's questbook also follows this order, so it is the one to chase first.[3][4]

The quest chain in the spells chapter asks for the books in the same order: Allthemodium first a quest in "?", then Vibranium a quest in "?", then Unobtainium a quest in "?". Each one unlocks the next, so it is a handy checklist.[4]
Step 2: Build the Allthemodium mage armor
Next, gear up. The Allthemodium armor pieces are smithing upgrades of base wizard armor, and the recipe accepts anything in the matching base wizard armor tag for each slot. Which exact items are in those tags is not confirmed in the sources I have, so check the recipe viewer in game.[3]
- Allthemodium Mage Hat for the head slot.[3]
- Allthemodium Mage Robes for the chest slot.[3]
- Allthemodium Mage Leggings for the legs.[3]
- Allthemodium Mage Boots for the feet.[3]

Step 3: Climb to Vibranium
Once you have Allthemodium gear, you can upgrade it. The Vibranium Spell Book is made from the Allthemodium Spell Book, and the Vibranium armor pieces work the same way: Vibranium Mage Hat, Vibranium Mage Robes, Vibranium Mage Leggings and Vibranium Mage Boots.[3]

Step 4: Finish with Unobtainium
The top tier upgrades Vibranium gear. The Unobtainium Spell Book comes from the Vibranium Spell Book, and Unobtainium Mage Hat, Unobtainium Mage Robes, Unobtainium Mage Leggings and Unobtainium Mage Boots each come from their Vibranium counterpart.[3]

Unverified The sources don't say what stats, spell bonuses or abilities each tier gives, or which items fill the smithing tags. Check the in-game tooltips and recipe viewer for those. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does All the Wizard Gear work?
4 parts
All the Wizard Gear has no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or automation. It adds three tiers of mage armor and spell books, and everything that matters is in the upgrade path and the armor stats the pack sets. That's what this section covers.[5][6]
The upgrade chain
Every piece is made with a smithing recipe, and the tiers build on each other. Allthemodium is the first tier, Vibranium upgrades from Allthemodium, and Unobtainium upgrades from Vibranium. Each step also needs the matching ingot and a tier-specific smithing item tag.[6]
The Allthemodium tier is the entry point. Its armor pieces start from a base wizard armor item tag for that slot, and its spell book starts from an Ancient Codex (Ancient Codex). Hat, robes, leggings and boots each have their own recipe, so you upgrade slot by slot.[6]

Spell books follow the same pattern, and the first one starts from an Ancient Codex.
Armor values and toughness
The config lists armor values in the order boots, leggings, chestplate, helmet. In this pack, Allthemodium is 4, 7, 9, 4 with toughness 4. Vibranium is 6, 9, 11, 6 with toughness 5. Unobtainium is 8, 11, 13, 8 with toughness 6. Knockback resistance is 0 on all three tiers. These values match the mod defaults listed in the file, so the pack doesn't change them.[5]
You can see the stats in ArmorConfig.allthemodium.armorValues, ArmorConfig.vibranium.armorValues and ArmorConfig.unobtainium.armorValues.[5]
Mana and spell power
Each tier raises your maximum mana, your mana regeneration and your spell power. Wearing the gear gives you the following.[5]
- Allthemodium: max mana 200, mana regen 0.05, spell power 0.2 (+20%).[5]
- Vibranium: max mana 325, mana regen 0.1, spell power 0.3 (+30%).[5]
- Unobtainium: max mana 450, mana regen 0.15, spell power 0.4 (+40%).[5]
The relevant options are ArmorConfig.allthemodium.maxMana, ArmorConfig.allthemodium.manaRegen and ArmorConfig.allthemodium.spellPower. The Vibranium and Unobtainium tiers have the same keys under their own names.[5]
Unverified The sources don't say what unit the mana regen number uses, or how the spell books themselves behave once you hold them.
Built-in protections
Each armor slot can carry a protection, and every one is a config toggle. Every tier has the same set on these four: boots prevent fall damage, the helmet prevents drowning and elytra damage, the chestplate prevents fire damage, and the armor makes piglins neutral like gold armor.[5]
The tiers differ on three protections.[5]
- Dragon breath: only the Unobtainium chestplate prevents it. The Allthemodium and Vibranium chestplates don't.[5]
- Wither: the Vibranium and Unobtainium leggings prevent it. The Allthemodium leggings don't.[5]
- Levitation: only the Unobtainium leggings prevent it.[5]
The toggles are ArmorConfig.unobtainium.chestplatePreventsDragonBreath, ArmorConfig.vibranium.leggingsPreventWither and ArmorConfig.unobtainium.leggingsPreventLevitation. Each tier has the same keys under its own name.[5]
How do you progress through All the Wizard Gear?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.57 guide
Wizard gear in this pack follows a three-step ladder: Allthemodium, then Vibranium, then Unobtainium. Every step is a smithing upgrade, so you never craft a higher tier from scratch. You always build on the piece you already have.[3][4]
Tier 1: Allthemodium
This is where you enter the ladder. The Allthemodium Spell Book is a smithing upgrade of the Ancient Codex from Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, so this tier ties into that mod.[3]

Tier 2: Vibranium
The Vibranium tier upgrades your finished Allthemodium pieces. That applies to the Vibranium Spell Book and to the Vibranium Mage Hat, Vibranium Mage Robes, Vibranium Mage Leggings and Vibranium Mage Boots. Keep your Allthemodium gear, because you need it for this step.[3]

Quests
The pack's quest book tracks the spell books in its Iron's Spells and Spellbooks chapter, and the quests follow the same tier order. Each quest after the first is unlocked by the one before it, and each asks you to have the matching spell book.[4]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Allthemodium Spell Book. It unlocks after another quest in the quest book.[4]
- a quest in "?" unlocks after the first quest and asks for the Vibranium Spell Book.[4]
- a quest in "?" unlocks after the second quest and asks for the Unobtainium Spell Book.[4]
Unverified This section does not cover how stats, spell power or other bonuses differ between tiers, because the available pack data doesn't confirm those values.
How does All the Wizard Gear work with other mods?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.57 guide
The only cross-mod link I can confirm in this pack is with the spellbook mod that provides the Ancient Codex (Ancient Codex). The pack's Allthemodium Spell Book is an upgrade of that item, and the quest book follows the same theme.[3][4]
Upgrading the Ancient Codex
Allthemodium Spell Book is made with a smithing transform, so you build it at a smithing table rather than a crafting grid. It takes the Ancient Codex as its base and turns it into the Allthemodium Spell Book. The exact in-pack recipe is below.[3]
Smithing Transform
Ancient Codex
- any allthemodium smithing
- any allthemodium ingot
Recipe id: minecraft:allthemodium_spell_book_smithing
Quest chapter
The quest chapter named "iron_spells_and_spellbooks" has three quests that each ask you to obtain one of this mod's spell books. They are chained, so you work through them in order.[4]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Allthemodium Spell Book. It unlocks after another quest in the same chapter that isn't covered here.[4]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Vibranium Spell Book and unlocks after the Allthemodium quest.[4]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Unobtainium Spell Book and unlocks after the Vibranium quest.[4]
Unverified The recipes for the Vibranium and Unobtainium spell books did not show up among the cross-mod recipes I checked, so how you craft them is unverified here. The quests only show that they are meant to follow the Allthemodium book.
Which All the Mods 10 quests use All the Wizard Gear?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.57 guide
This mod shows up in one quest chapter in the pack: "iron_spells_and_spellbooks". It's a short chain of three quests, and each one asks you to obtain a single spell book. They unlock one after another.[4]
- a quest in "?" asks you to get the Allthemodium Spell Book. It comes after another quest in the same chapter (7408CCF998D9CD37), which isn't covered by the sources I have for this mod.[4]
- a quest in "?" comes next and asks for the Vibranium Spell Book.[4]
- a quest in "?" finishes the chain and asks for the Unobtainium Spell Book.[4]
So the order is Allthemodium, then Vibranium, then Unobtainium. Each quest needs the previous one done first.[4]
Unverified The quests have no titles or descriptions in the pack data I was given, and no rewards are listed. What you get for completing them is unverified.
Which All the Wizard Gear config options matter?
3 parts
All of this gear's settings live in one file, config/allthewizardgear-server.toml. There are three armor sets in it: Allthemodium, Vibranium and Unobtainium. Each has the same list of options, so once you know one you know them all.[5]
Good news: this pack leaves every one of these options at the mod default. Nothing in the file was changed, so what you see below is also what the mod ships with.[5]
Armor values and toughness
The armor values options take four numbers in the order boots, leggings, chestplate, helmet. Toughness is a single number per set. Knockback resistance is 0 for all three sets.[5]
- Allthemodium: ArmorConfig.allthemodium.armorValues is [4,7,9,4] and ArmorConfig.allthemodium.toughness is 4.[5]
- Vibranium: ArmorConfig.vibranium.armorValues is [6,9,11,6] and ArmorConfig.vibranium.toughness is 5.[5]
- Unobtainium: ArmorConfig.unobtainium.armorValues is [8,11,13,8] and ArmorConfig.unobtainium.toughness is 6.[5]
Mana and spell power
If you're building a caster, these are the options to look at. Max mana, mana regen and spell power all climb with each tier.[5]
- Allthemodium: ArmorConfig.allthemodium.maxMana is 200, ArmorConfig.allthemodium.manaRegen is 0.05 and ArmorConfig.allthemodium.spellPower is 0.2 (+20%).[5]
- Vibranium: ArmorConfig.vibranium.maxMana is 325, ArmorConfig.vibranium.manaRegen is 0.1 and ArmorConfig.vibranium.spellPower is 0.3 (+30%).[5]
- Unobtainium: ArmorConfig.unobtainium.maxMana is 450, ArmorConfig.unobtainium.manaRegen is 0.15 and ArmorConfig.unobtainium.spellPower is 0.4 (+40%).[5]
Protective perks
Every set has the same perks switched on: boots prevent fall damage, the chestplate prevents fire damage, the helmet prevents drowning and elytra damage, and the armor makes piglins neutral like gold armor does. The options that differ between sets are the dragon breath, levitation and wither protections.[5]
- Allthemodium: ArmorConfig.allthemodium.chestplatePreventsDragonBreath, ArmorConfig.allthemodium.leggingsPreventLevitation and ArmorConfig.allthemodium.leggingsPreventWither are all false.[5]
- Vibranium: ArmorConfig.vibranium.leggingsPreventWither is true, while ArmorConfig.vibranium.chestplatePreventsDragonBreath and ArmorConfig.vibranium.leggingsPreventLevitation are false.[5]
- Unobtainium: ArmorConfig.unobtainium.chestplatePreventsDragonBreath, ArmorConfig.unobtainium.leggingsPreventLevitation and ArmorConfig.unobtainium.leggingsPreventWither are all true.[5]
