What is Charging Gadgets?
2 parts
Charging Gadgets is the mod that gives you the Charging Station, a block for charging items. This pack ships Charging Gadgets 1.14.1, and it has been in the pack since version 1.0 or earlier.[1][2]
What the Charging Station does
The quest book calls the Charging Station a very helpful early game block. You can pipe energy into it, or burn furnace fuel in it to make energy as FE. Then you put any item that needs charging into the right most slot.[2]
Where it sits in the quest book
The quest "Charging Gadgets" quest is in the "Tips and Tricks" chapter, which has 12 quests. That chapter collects handy items and info for your journey, such as "Simple Magnets" quest, "Iron Jetpacks" quest and "Personal Shrinking Device" quest.[2]
The Charging Gadgets quest is one of five that the final quest of the chapter, a quest in "Tips and Tricks" ("Complete all the tips!"), comes after. The other four are Infinite Water, Personal Shrinking Device, Simple Magnets and Iron Jetpacks. The chapter's sources don't show any quest that must be done before the Charging Gadgets one.[2]
How do you get started with Charging Gadgets?
1 part
Same as in the All the Mods 10 1.26 guide
Charging Gadgets keeps things simple in this pack: the block to make first is the Charging Station. Everything else the mod does starts from it, so it is the one thing to craft before anything else.[3][4]

This is the in-pack recipe. It uses tag ingredients, so any matching item of each type works.
What to look at once it's placed
Open the Charging Station and you'll see three things on its screen: how much energy it holds in FE, how much burn time is left, and a warning when the fuel source is empty. The energy readout is shown as current/maximum FE.[4]
The sources I have for this mod only cover the Charging Station recipe and its screen text. Details such as which fuels it accepts, how fast it generates energy, and what it can charge are unverified here, so test them in your own world before you build around them.[3][4]
How does Charging Gadgets work?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.50 guide
The only part of Charging Gadgets that the available sources confirm for this pack is how you get its main block, the Charging Station. It is made with a shaped crafting recipe, so ingredient placement matters.[5]

This is the in-pack recipe for the Charging Station.
The recipe is listed as the mod's own recipe, and nothing in the sources shows the pack changing it.[5]
Unverified How the Charging Station works is not confirmed by any source I was given: its power input and storage, charging speed, which items it can charge, and whether it works with pipes, hoppers or other automation. The pack also has no config files for this mod, and there is no in-jar guidebook or lang-file description to check. Test these in your own world before you build around them.
How do you progress through Charging Gadgets?
3 parts
Good news: there's no tier ladder to climb here. In this pack, the recipe data shows Charging Gadgets as a single craftable item, the Charging Station. The recipe data lists no other recipes for the mod, so no upgrade tiers are confirmed.[6]
Where it sits in the quest book
The pack's quest book puts the Charging Station in the "Tips and Tricks" chapter, in the quest "Charging Gadgets" quest. The quest asks you to have the Charging Station and calls it a very helpful early game block.[2]
That chapter is a collection of handy items and info, not a strict chain. Its final quest, a quest in "Tips and Tricks", comes after five tips: Infinite Water, Personal Shrinking Device, Simple Magnets, Charging Gadgets and Iron Jetpacks. So the Charging Station is one of the items you pick up on the way to completing all the tips.[2]

This is a shaped crafting recipe from the mod, and it is the one in use in this pack.
How the quest says to use it
- Get energy in. You can either pipe in energy or burn furnace fuel in the station to make FE.[2]
- Put the item you want to charge into the right most slot.[2]
The jetpack quest in the same chapter, "Iron Jetpacks" quest, explains that jetpacks need FE to fly and that you can charge them with any Item Charger. If you run out of energy mid-flight, you drop.[2]
Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Charging Gadgets?
2 parts
Charging Gadgets shows up in one quest chapter of the pack: Tips and Tricks. It's a grab bag of useful items and advice, 12 quests in total, and the mod has a single quest there.[2]
The Charging Gadgets quest
"Charging Gadgets" quest asks you to have the Charging Station. The quest calls it a very helpful early game block for charging items. You can pipe energy into it, or burn furnace fuel to make FE. Then you put whatever needs charging into the right most slot.[2]
Where it sits in the chapter
The chapter's last quest is a checkmark quest with the subtitle "Complete all the tips!" (a quest in "Tips and Tricks"). It comes after five quests: "Infinite Water" quest, "Personal Shrinking Device" quest, "Simple Magnets" quest, "Charging Gadgets" quest and "Iron Jetpacks" quest. So the Charging Gadgets quest is one of the tips you finish before that closing checkmark.[2]
The sources don't give any ordering between the other tips in the chapter, so you can take them in whatever order suits you.[2]
