What is Charging Gadgets?
1 part
Charging Gadgets adds the Charging Station, a block that charges items for you. This pack includes Charging Gadgets 1.14.1.[1][2]
The pack's quest book calls the Charging Station a very helpful early game block. You can pipe energy into it, or burn furnace fuel in it to make energy in the form of FE. Then you put whatever needs charging into the right most slot.[2]
Where it sits in the quest book
The quest "Charging Gadgets" quest is in the Tips and Tricks chapter, a 12 quest chapter of useful items and info. Its task is to obtain the Charging Station. The mod is not on the ATM Star quest path.[2]
The quest sits alongside several other tip quests. The chapter's last quest, a quest in "Tips and Tricks", is a checkmark quest titled "Complete all the tips!" that comes after five quests:[2]
- "Infinite Water" quest[2]
- "Personal Shrinking Device" quest[2]
- "Simple Magnets" quest[2]
- "Charging Gadgets" quest[2]
- "Iron Jetpacks" quest[2]
How do you get started with Charging Gadgets?
1 part
Same as in the All the Mods 10 1.26 guide
Charging Gadgets keeps things simple in this pack: the block to make first is the Charging Station. Everything else the mod does starts from it, so it is the one thing to craft before anything else.[3][4]

This is the in-pack recipe. It uses tag ingredients, so any matching item of each type works.
What to look at once it's placed
Open the Charging Station and you'll see three things on its screen: how much energy it holds in FE, how much burn time is left, and a warning when the fuel source is empty. The energy readout is shown as current/maximum FE.[4]
The sources I have for this mod only cover the Charging Station recipe and its screen text. Details such as which fuels it accepts, how fast it generates energy, and what it can charge are unverified here, so test them in your own world before you build around them.[3][4]
How does Charging Gadgets work?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.50 guide
The only part of Charging Gadgets that the available sources confirm for this pack is how you get its main block, the Charging Station. It is made with a shaped crafting recipe, so ingredient placement matters.[5]

This is the in-pack recipe for the Charging Station.
The recipe is listed as the mod's own recipe, and nothing in the sources shows the pack changing it.[5]
Unverified How the Charging Station works is not confirmed by any source I was given: its power input and storage, charging speed, which items it can charge, and whether it works with pipes, hoppers or other automation. The pack also has no config files for this mod, and there is no in-jar guidebook or lang-file description to check. Test these in your own world before you build around them.
How do you progress through Charging Gadgets?
3 parts
Good news: there's no long tier ladder to climb here. In this pack, the only recipe for Charging Gadgets is the Charging Station, so the whole progression is a single step.[6]
Where it shows up in the quest book
The quest "Charging Gadgets" quest sits in the Tips and Tricks chapter. It calls the Charging Station a very helpful early game block, and the quest task is to get one.[2]
The final checkmark quest in that chapter, a quest in "Tips and Tricks", comes after five quests: Infinite Water, Personal Shrinking Device, Simple Magnets, Charging Gadgets and Iron Jetpacks. So finishing the Charging Gadgets quest is one of the steps toward completing all the tips.[2]

How to use it
The quest gives you two ways to power it: pipe in energy, or use furnace fuel to make energy in the form of FE. Then put any item that needs charging into the right most slot.[2]
Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Charging Gadgets?
3 parts
In this pack, the Charging Station has one quest of its own, and it sits in the "Tips and Tricks" chapter. That chapter has 12 quests, mostly short tips about handy items and mods.[2]
The Charging Gadgets quest
"Charging Gadgets" quest has a single item task: obtain the Charging Station. The quest text calls it a very helpful early game block for charging items. You can pipe in energy, or burn furnace fuel to make energy in the form of FE. Then you put whatever needs charging into the right-most slot.[2]
Where it sits in the chapter
The chapter ends with a checkmark quest, a quest in "Tips and Tricks", which the book places after five tips. "Charging Gadgets" quest is one of them. Here is the full list:[2]
- "Infinite Water" quest[2]
- "Personal Shrinking Device" quest[2]
- "Simple Magnets" quest[2]
- "Charging Gadgets" quest[2]
- "Iron Jetpacks" quest[2]
The sources only give this "after" list for the final quest. They don't give a required order among the five, so you can pick them up in any order.[2]
A related quest: Iron Jetpacks
"Iron Jetpacks" quest asks for Jetpack. Its text says jetpacks need FE to work and that any item charger can charge them. You will drop if you run out of energy, so keep them topped up.[2]
