What is The Bumblezone - NeoForge/Forge?

2 parts

Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide

The Bumblezone adds a bee dimension that looks like the inside of a bee nest. You'll find giant walls in rows with canals of water between them, structures to explore, and a unique set of bee armor. Some structures can give you a Throne-Locating Honey Compass that leads you to a Bee Queen. If you like exploring and collecting bee-themed gear, this mod is for you.[1]

Tip: Not sure how to get in? The mod points you to its advancements tab in the Bumblezone for how to enter the dimension and what to do next.[1]

Mind the bees

The bees here are very protective of their honey. If you mine a vanilla Honey Block, take honey from a Honeycomb Brood Block, or hit a bee, nearby bees get buffs and you get the Wrath of the Hive effect. Feeding bees or the brood blocks honey foods can calm them down and earns you Protection of the Hive, which makes bees defend you. The mod's config lets you nerf or buff the bees.[1]

In this pack

The pack ships The Bumblezone 7.15.3 for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge. It has been in the pack since version 2.25 or earlier.[2]

The pack has a quest chapter called "The Bumblezone". It covers gear that is usually crafted, found in structures, or traded for with the Bee Queen. Highlights include:[3]

Unverified Where The Bumblezone fits in the pack's overall progression is not confirmed by the available sources, and none of them show it on the ATM Star path.

How do you get started with The Bumblezone - NeoForge/Forge?

3 parts

The Bumblezone is a bee dimension inside your Beehives, and the pack's quest book walks you in. Its chapter is "The Bumblezone" in the Exploration group (chapter 67 of 70, 113 quests). It opens with "The Bumblezone!" quest, which asks for a Beehive. Three quests hang off it: "Into the Hive" quest, "Escaping" quest and a short warning quest, a quest in "The Bumblezone". Some quests in this chapter are not covered here, so check the book for them.[4]

Step 1: Get in and know how to get out

  1. Get a Beehive. The quest says normal Beehives and Advanced Beehives both work. Throw an Ender Pearl into it, or have a Piston push you into it.[4]
  2. Entrance teleportation is on in this pack, and Ender Pearls on hives also work outside the Overworld, because [[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Teleportation Options.onlyOverworldHivesTeleports]] is false. Modded hives work too. If a specific block is required under the hive, the game warns you when you pick the wrong one.[5]
  3. Before you wander off, learn the exit. Mine down or up past the Beehive Beeswax to reach the Void. This Void won't kill you. It teleports you back to where you were in the Overworld.[4]

Step 2: Don't anger the bees

Watch out: Mining vanilla's Honey Block, taking honey from a Honeycomb Brood Block, or hitting a bee gives you Wrath of the Hive. Every bee around gets big buffs and turns very angry. Feeding bees or Brood Blocks honey foods gives you Protection of the Hive, and the bees then defend you. In this pack Protection is set to 1,680, down from the mod default of 6,000 (see [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Protection of the Hive Options.howLongProtectionOfTheHiveLasts]]).[1][6]

Wrath is enabled here, but [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Wrath of the Hive Options.Bees Aggression Options.allowWrathOfTheHiveOutsideBumblezone]] is false, so picking up honey in the Overworld won't trigger it.[6]

Step 3: Your first crafts

The Honey Compass comes first, since its quest sits right after Into the Hive. You can craft it or trade for it. Shift Right Click a Beehive to track that hive, or Right Click the air to locate a Cell Maze.[4]

The Bee Cannon can be crafted, found in structures, or traded for with the Bee Queen. Right Click a bee to load it, then hold Right Click and let go to fire. The bees don't turn hostile from being shot.[4]

The Honey Crystal Shield works like a vanilla Shield in your off-hand. After you repair it with Honey Crystals it grows stronger. This pack adds its own recipe for it.[4][7]

How does The Bumblezone - NeoForge/Forge work?

10 parts

The Bumblezone is a bee dimension full of bee-related blocks, so its mechanics revolve around bees, honey, trading and a few special blocks. Here is how the systems work in this pack.[1]

Getting in and out of the dimension

The mod handles teleporting both into and out of the dimension, and both are switched on in the pack. You enter by throwing an Enderpearl at a Bee Nest or Beehive. Modded nests and hives work too. The pack does not limit entry to the Overworld, because that restriction is turned off.[5]

If a block is required under the hive, you get a warning when you throw the pearl at a hive with the wrong block beneath it, and the warning tells you which block is needed. That warning is enabled here. Leaving the dimension does not force you back to the Overworld, so you return to where you came from. Relevant options: [[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Teleportation Options.enableEntranceTeleportation]], [[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Teleportation Options.onlyOverworldHivesTeleports]] and [[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Teleportation Options.forceExitToOverworld]].[5]

Wrath of the Hive and Protection of the Hive

Bees here are very protective of their honey. Mining a vanilla Honey Block, taking honey from a Honeycomb Brood Block, or hitting a bee gives you the Wrath of the Hive effect, and nearby bees get strong buffs and turn very angry. Feeding bees or Honeycomb Brood Blocks with honey foods can calm them down and gives you Protection of the Hive, which makes bees defend you against anyone who attacks you.[1]

The pack tunes this. Protection of the Hive lasts 1,680 ticks, down from the mod default of 6,000, so you need to top it up more often. Wrath of the Hive also lasts 1,680 ticks, which is the mod default. Ticks are 20 per second. See [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Protection of the Hive Options.howLongProtectionOfTheHiveLasts]] and [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Wrath of the Hive Options.Bees Aggression Options.howLongWrathOfTheHiveLasts]].[6]

  • Angry bees get Speed 2, Absorption 1 and Strength 1 from Wrath, and these are the mod defaults. Absorption 1 means 4 extra padding of health, so your hits must do more than that to hurt the bee itself.[6]
  • Bees within 64 blocks can become angry and hunt you. Wrath is allowed in the dimension but is off outside it by default, and Wrath is not triggered by harming a Beehemoth.[6]
Watch out: Peaceful mode always overrides the bee aggression setting, but on any other difficulty, mining Honey Blocks or taking honey from brood blocks in the dimension will bring the swarm. Feed the bees to get Protection of the Hive first if you can.[1][6]

Brood blocks and bees

Brood Blocks automatically spawn bees until the number of active bees reaches 40, and setting [[config:config/the_bumblezone/general.toml#General Mechanics Options.broodBlocksBeeSpawnCapacity]] to 0 turns that off. The mod also keeps vanilla bees near players in the dimension, aiming for 25 near each player, and despawns bees that are too far away unless they have a hive, a name tag or are persistent.[8]

Several bee items can revive an Empty Honeycomb Brood Block into a regular one with a larva inside. In this pack that works with the Buzzier Bees Bee Bottle, the Forbidden Arcanus Bee Bucket, Goodall Bottled Bees, Potion of Bees and Resourceful Bees Bee Jars. Productive Bees Bee Cages do not do it here.[9]

Automation with dispensers

Dispensers can feed Honeycomb Brood Blocks. By default a dispenser does not drop the Glass Bottle when it uses a bottle item on these blocks, because [[config:config/the_bumblezone/general.toml#General Mechanics Options.dispensersDropGlassBottles]] is false here. A brood block fed by a dispenser can also have a chance of spawning a modded bee. In this pack that is allowed for Resourceful Bees and Tropicraft's Tropibee, but not for Productive Bees.[8][9]

Honey fluid

Extracting fluid from Honey Bottles will try to generate Bumblezone Honey Fluid, which is handy if you use extraction machines. This is enabled in the pack. The pack leaves the option to swap the dimension's honey fluid for another fluid empty, so the default stays. With Create installed, Honey and Royal Jelly fluids can spawn Create's Limestone when they touch lava.[8][9]

Bee Queen trading

The Bee Queen trades with you, and she can pick items up off the ground to do it. Bonus Trades multiply the normal trade's quantity by 3, allow 24 boosted trades until depleted, and last 24,000 ticks before she asks for a new item. All three are the mod defaults. She can respawn in a Throne Pillar when located with a fresh Throne Honey Compass.[8]

The pack adds its own trades. Hand her Productive Trees pollen and you get sawdust most of the time (weight 94), with a weight of 1 each for six Productive Trees saplings. Hand her a Dead Bush and you can get sweet berries (weight 4), a sapling from the tradeable saplings tag (weight 2), a rose bush (weight 1), or berries from other installed mods (weight 1 each).[10][11]

That sapling tag is filled by a pack script: every sapling in the vanilla saplings tag is added except Productive Trees ones, which have their own trade above.[12][13]

Crystalline Flower

You right click a Crystalline Flower to open its screen, where you can feed it items and experience until it is fully grown. You can then enchant a Book with it. In this pack the flower can eat item entities and experience orbs that touch it in the world, and both feeding options in its screen are on. Enchanting power per tier is 8, and there is no extra tier cost or extra experience requirement. See [[config:config/the_bumblezone/general.toml#Crystalline Flower Options.crystallineFlowerEnchantingPowerAllowedPerTier]].[8][14]

Brewing and combat extras

Three brewing recipes are enabled. Bee Soup makes Potions of Neurotoxin, Bee Stinger makes Potions of Long Poison, and Glistering Honey Crystal makes Potions of Luck. The Neurotoxin enchantment strength is capped at level 2, and Paralyzed lasts at most 600 ticks.[8]

Bee Stingers drop from adult bees, including modded ones, that die while still having their stinger.[8]

Crafting and wax in this pack

Waxes can be carved with Shears or a Sword. The pack changed how you get Carvable Wax: the mod's honeycomb recipe is removed and a recipe using Productive Bees wax is added. Smelting Beehive Beeswax still works.[7][14][15]

Storage tweaks

If you automate storage, the pack tags Pollen Puff so Functional Storage ignores its crafting check and so MEGA Cells uses it as a compression override.[13][16]

How do you progress through The Bumblezone - NeoForge/Forge?

5 parts

The Bumblezone has no tool tiers in the usual sense. Its progression is a quest chain that takes you from a plain beehive to the Bee Queen and then to a set of Essence items. The chapter sits in the Exploration group of the quest book (chapter 67 of 70) and has 113 quests.[4]

The main path

  1. Start with "The Bumblezone!" quest, which asks for a beehive. Then comes "Into the Hive" quest: use a normal or advanced beehive, then throw an Ender Pearl into it or have a Piston push you into it.[4]
  2. Explore. Most of the biome and structure quests come straight after Into the Hive. Honitel and Battle Cubes branch off it directly, and the Cell Maze quest comes after "Honey Compass" quest.[4]
  3. Find a Throne Pillar. The later a quest in "The Bumblezone" quest comes after Honitel, the Cell Maze and Battle Cubes. That compass can turn up in any of those three structures and always spawns in the Cell Maze. It points you to the closest Throne Pillar, and "Throne Pillar" quest follows.[4]
  4. Meet the Bee Queen in "Your Highness" quest. She asks for an item, and she also trades with you. The quest book says to check JEI for all her trades.[4]
  5. Finish all 16 of her request quests, then right click her for the Essence of the Bees in a quest in "The Bumblezone".[4]
  6. Run the Sempiternal Sanctums, one per Essence, which the quest book calls the endgame.[4]
Tip: To leave the Bumblezone, mine up or down past the Beehive Beeswax into the Void. This Void won't kill you. It sends you back to where you were in the Overworld ("Escaping" quest).[4]

The Bee Queen's 16 requests

Each request is an advancement quest after Your Highness. Some are plain kill counts: 4 Endermites, 8 Silverfish, 16 Cave Spiders and 32 Spiders. Others are bigger:[4]

  • Trade with the Bee Queen 128 times.[4]
  • Kill the Ender Dragon while wearing a full set of Bee Armor.[4]
  • Kill the Wither with the Stinger Spear.[4]
  • Hit 24 different mobs with Pollen Puff items.[4]

The Mite Fortress quest points out that Endermites and Silverfish are easy to farm there.[4]

Watch out: Until you have the Essence of the Bees, touching Ancient Wax gives you Weakness, Slowness and Mining Fatigue. You also get Wrath of the Hive in the Cell Maze, unless you have the Protection of the Hive effect.[4]

Once you eat Essence of the Bees, you can take honey safely, walk through the Cell Maze and the Throne Pillar without penalty, and cross Ancient Wax freely. It also sticks with you after death.[4]

The six Essences

After the Essence of the Bees, each Sempiternal Sanctum unlocks one Essence. You use them from your off-hand. These are the quest unlocks and their cooldowns:[4]

Gear and pack changes

The Bee Armor pieces are Stingless Bee Helmet, Bumble Bee Chestplate, Honey Bee Leggings and Carpenter Bee Boots. The quest book says they can be found in Bumblezone structures or traded for with the Bee Queen. The chapter has separate quests for the _1 and _2 variants of each piece, and the Basic Armor chapter lists both full sets as Bee Armor 1 and Bee Armor 2.[4][17]

The pack changes how you get Carvable Wax. It removes the mod's honeycomb recipe and adds its own recipe using Productive Bees wax. The mod's smelting recipe from Beehive Beeswax is still in the recipe dump.[7][15]

The pack also edits a Bee Queen trade. She wants Productive Trees pollen and mostly gives sawdust (weight 94). Each of six rare saplings has a weight of 1.[10]

How does The Bumblezone - NeoForge/Forge work with other mods?

4 parts

The Bumblezone connects to other mods in this pack mainly through bees, wax and candles. Here are the links I can confirm from the in-pack recipes, quests and scripts.[4][7]

Productive Bees: wax and carvable wax

A recipe added by the pack turns Productive Bees Wax into the Bumblezone's Carvable Wax.[7]

The Buzzing Briefcase quest also mentions Productive Bees. It says the briefcase can hold 14 bees, and that any bees work, including Productive Bees ones. Right click a bee with it to capture it, and shift right click to view the bees inside.[4]

Dyenamics and Friends: coloured Super Candle bases

The pack adds a recipe for every colour of Super Candle base in the Dyenamics and Friends namespace, all built on the Bumblezone Super Candle. For example, there are Amber Super Candle Base, Mint Super Candle Base and Wine Super Candle Base. Each recipe uses the matching colour from the shared dye tags.[7]

The other colours follow the same pattern, each with its own dye tag.

The Super Candle is also the starting point for the Potion Candle. Its quest says you craft a Super Candle with Royal Jelly and a Potion, and when lit it gives the potion effect to everyone nearby.[4]

Tag tweaks for other mods

  • The pack adds the Bumblezone's pollen puff to Functional Storage's ignore_crafting_check item tag.[16]
  • The pack adds the crop blocks of several Mystical Agriculture seeds, such as allthemodium, unobtainium and vibranium, to the Bumblezone block tag the_bumblezone:essence/life/grow_plants. What that tag does in play isn't covered by the sources here.[18]

In the quest book

The Bumblezone chapter sits in the Exploration group and is chapter 67 of 70 in the book. It has 113 quests, so check the quest book itself for the text of the rest.[4]

Which All the Mons quests use The Bumblezone - NeoForge/Forge?

6 parts

The Bumblezone has its own chapter in the pack's quest book. It sits in the Exploration group as chapter 67 of 70 and holds 113 quests. It's a big one, so here's the order it follows.[4]

Getting in and out

Everything starts with "The Bumblezone!" quest, which asks you for a beehive. Three quests come straight after it:[4]

  1. "Into the Hive" quest is a dimension quest. You need a beehive, then either throw an Enderpearl into it or get a Piston to push you in.[4]
  2. "Escaping" quest asks for Beehive Beeswax. Mine up or down past it to reach the Void, which sends you back to where you were in the Overworld instead of killing you.[4]
  3. a quest in "The Bumblezone" is a checkmark quest, just a phobia warning about the mod.[4]

Exploring the hive

Once you've done "Into the Hive" quest, the chapter opens up into biome and structure quests. These include "Pollinated Fields" quest, "Pollinated Pillars" quest, "Floral Meadow" quest, "Hive Wall" quest, "Hive Pillar" quest, "Crystal Canyons" quest, "Howling Constructs" quest and "Lakes of Sugar! (Water)" quest. Also here are "Honitel" quest, "Battle Cubes" quest, "Cross-Over?" quest and "Honey Compass" quest, which asks for the Honey Compass.[4]

A few quests follow on from those:[4]

Meeting the Bee Queen

A second a quest in "The Bumblezone" quest comes after Honitel, Cell Maze and Battle Cubes. It asks for the same Honey Compass, and its text says it points to the closest Throne Pillar. Next comes "Throne Pillar" quest, then "Your Highness" quest, where you meet the Bee Queen.[4]

The Queen's quest text says you need Bee Essence to advance, and that you get it by finishing all 16 of her quests. These are untitled advancement quests that all come after "Your Highness" quest. A few examples: killing 4 Endermites, killing 8 Silverfish, trading with the Queen 128 times, killing the Wither with the Stinger Spear, and killing the Ender Dragon in a full set of Bee Armor.[4]

When all 16 are done, a quest in "The Bumblezone" asks for Essence of the Bees. Its text says it sticks with you even after death, and that it opens up the endgame.[4]

Sanctums and essences

After the Essence of the Bees, five Sempiternal Sanctum structure quests unlock, along with a Green one for the sixth essence. Each Sanctum then leads to one essence quest:[4]

Quests with no prerequisite listed

The rest of the chapter has no prerequisite listed, so you can pick them up whenever you find the item. Gear quests include a quest in "The Bumblezone", a quest in "The Bumblezone", a quest in "The Bumblezone", a quest in "The Bumblezone", a quest in "The Bumblezone", a quest in "The Bumblezone", a quest in "The Bumblezone", "Potion Candle" quest, "Crystalline Flower" quest and a quest in "The Bumblezone". The Bee Armor pieces each have two quests, one for the first version of the piece and one for the second. Examples are a quest in "The Bumblezone" and a quest in "The Bumblezone".[4]

The chapter also has banner pattern quests such as "Bee Banner Pattern" quest and "Swords Banner Pattern" quest, plus music disc quests such as "A Last First Last" quest and "Flight of the Bumblebee" quest. Mob quests cover "Beehemoth" quest, "Bee Variants" quest, "Honey Slimes" quest and "Rootmin" quest. Many more structure quests are in there too, like "Hanging Gardens" quest, "Mite Fortress" quest and "Stinger Spear Shrine" quest.[4]

Bee Armor in the armor chapter

The Basic Armor chapter, in the Tools and Gear group, has two Bee Armor quests: "Bee Armor 1" quest and "Bee Armor 2" quest. Each asks for a full set of Bumblezone armor, and the first one tells you to check the Bumblezone quest page to learn more.[17]

Which The Bumblezone - NeoForge/Forge config options matter?

5 parts

Good news: this pack leaves almost every Bumblezone option at the mod default. There is one change that matters, and it affects how you deal with the bees.[6]

The one value the pack changed

[[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Protection of the Hive Options.howLongProtectionOfTheHiveLasts]] is set to 1,680 ticks here, down from the mod default of 6,000. Protection of the Hive is the effect you get after feeding bees or Brood Blocks, and bees attack anyone who damages someone who has it. In this pack it wears off much sooner, so don't count on it for long fights.[6]

Wrath of the Hive

The rest of the bee aggression file is at mod defaults. Here is how the pack sets the options you are most likely to want to tweak.[6]

  • [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Wrath of the Hive Options.Bees Aggression Options.allowWrath]] is true, so angry bees are on. Peaceful mode always overrides it.[6]
  • [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Wrath of the Hive Options.Bees Aggression Options.howLongWrathOfTheHiveLasts]] is 1,680 ticks (20 ticks = 1 second), the same as the mod default.[6]
  • [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Wrath of the Hive Options.Bees Aggression Options.aggressionTriggerRadius]] is 64 blocks.[6]
  • [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Wrath of the Hive Options.Bees Aggression Options.allowWrathOfTheHiveOutsideBumblezone]] is false, so grabbing honey outside the dimension won't trigger Wrath. [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Wrath of the Hive Options.Bees Aggression Options.beehemothTriggersWrath]] is also false.[6]
  • Bee buffs during Wrath: absorption [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Wrath of the Hive Options.Bee Buffs From Wrath.absorptionBoostLevel]] is 1, speed [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Wrath of the Hive Options.Bee Buffs From Wrath.speedBoostLevel]] is 2, and strength [[config:config/the_bumblezone/bee_aggression.toml#Wrath of the Hive Options.Bee Buffs From Wrath.strengthBoostLevel]] is 1.[6]
Tip: If the bees feel too strong, you can nerf them in the config, or buff them if you want to die. The config notes say a strength level of 5 or higher will instantly kill you without armor.[1][6]

Getting in and out of the dimension

Teleportation is fully handled by the mod: [[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Teleportation Options.enableEntranceTeleportation]] and [[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Teleportation Options.enableExitTeleportation]] are both true. [[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Teleportation Options.defaultDimension]] is minecraft:overworld. [[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Teleportation Options.forceExitToOverworld]] and [[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Teleportation Options.onlyOverworldHivesTeleports]] are both false. That means you return to the dimension you came from, and Enderpearls at nests and hives are not limited to the Overworld.[5]

[[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Teleportation Options.allowTeleportationWithModdedBeehives]] is true, so modded Bee Nests and Beehives work too. [[config:config/the_bumblezone/dimension.toml#The Bumblezone Welcome Options.enableInitialWelcomeMessage]] is false, so you won't get the advancements hint near your first hive.[5]

Bee Queen and Essence settings

Bonus Trades use the mod defaults: [[config:config/the_bumblezone/general.toml#Bee Queen Options.beeQueenBonusTradeRewardMultiplier]] is 3, [[config:config/the_bumblezone/general.toml#Bee Queen Options.beeQueenBonusTradeAmountTillSatified]] is 24 boosted trades, and [[config:config/the_bumblezone/general.toml#Bee Queen Options.beeQueenBonusTradeDurationInTicks]] is 24,000 ticks. Setting the multiplier to 0 or 1 disables Bonus Trades.[8]

Essence events in Sempiternal Sanctums can be redone, because [[config:config/the_bumblezone/general.toml#Essence Item And Events Options.repeatableEssenceEvents]] is true. For example, [[config:config/the_bumblezone/general.toml#Essence Item And Events Options.knowingEssenceCooldown]] is 18,000 ticks. [[config:config/the_bumblezone/general.toml#Essence Item And Events Options.ragingEssenceStrengthLevels]] is [1,2,3,5,8,14,20].[8]

Client-side comfort options

The dimension fog is on, with [[config:config/the_bumblezone/client.toml#The Bumblezone Client Dimension Options.fogThickness]] at 4 and [[config:config/the_bumblezone/client.toml#The Bumblezone Client Dimension Options.fogBrightnessPercentage]] at 100, both at mod defaults. If the fog bothers you, [[config:config/the_bumblezone/client.toml#The Bumblezone Client Dimension Options.enableDimensionFog]] turns it off.[19]

Unverified The general config file has 7 more options that were not available when this section was written, so their pack values are unverified.

All the Mons 1.3.0 ships The Bumblezone 7.15.3 for Minecraft 1.21.1, and the pack has carried the mod since 0.3.0-beta or earlier. The sources here have no pack changelog entries for this mod, so everything below comes from the mod's own changelogs.[20]

Latest releases (the version in the pack)

  • 7.15.3: Honey Fluid and Royal Jelly Fluid no longer replace waterlogged blocks that have a collision shape when they touch them. Placing an Amethyst Cluster into Sugar Water now waterlogs it.[21]
  • 7.15.1: Fixed a crash when Hanging Gardens spawned certain mobs from other mods.[22]
  • 7.15.0: Honey Web and Redstone Honey Web can now be broken by flowing fluids. The Comb Cutter enchantment now works when enchanted Shears are in your off-hand while you extract honeycombs from Beehives or Bee Nests.[23]
  • 7.15.0 also added new worldgen features: Fungus Spore, a small rare source of Mushroom Block, Shroomlight, Hanging Roots and Brown Mushrooms that spawns in all Bumblezone biomes, and Web Bridge, a wall of Honey Web blocks that connects the walls of narrow valleys in the Sugar Water Floor, Hive Pillar, Hive Wall and Crystal Canyon biomes.[23]
  • 7.15.0 also made the Honeycomb Holes feature replace fewer blocks so it stops eating other features, and improved the terrain adaption around the Candle Parkour and Mite Fortress structures.[23]

The two releases before 7.15.0

  • The later release fixed a very rare crash when the Honey Compass searched for a structure while something else was also searching. It also fixed a typo in the Blue Sempiternal Sanctum name.[22][23]
  • The earlier release turned several biome surface rules (Floral Meadow, Howling Construct and Buzzing Beepartments) into features instead, which reduces memory allocation spam during dimension worldgen. It also made the pollen filled caves in Pollinated Field and Pollinated Pillar wider and easier to traverse, and updated the bundled Athena dependency, fixing incorrect ambient occlusion on Filled/Empty Porous Honeycomb Block and Honeycomb Brood Blocks.[22][23]

Bee Queen trade and gui bees releases

  • 7.13.2: Removed the small Vanilla Backport compat file, because that mod registers content under the minecraft namespace. Also fixed a rare race condition with ServiceLoaders.[24]
  • 7.13.1: Reduced some Z-fighting on Sticky Honey Residue and Sticky Honey Redstone when viewed from far away. Added a config option to show gui bees only while you are in the Bumblezone dimension.[24][25]
  • 7.13.0: The Bee Queen gained a trade that swaps Banner Patterns for Experience Bottles. It uses the c:loom_patterns item tag, so other mods' Banner Patterns can be added there. This version also added an April Fool's joke where bees can appear on any in-world gui, controlled by three config options. You can turn the bees on all year round.[24][26]

Earlier changes

  • 7.12.1: Optimized model part gathering for Rootmins, the Bee Queen and the Cosmic Crystal Entity. Floral Meadows with lots of Rootmins benefit the most, with much lower memory allocation.[27]
  • The release just before that added an internal resource pack called "Bumblezone - Shader Emissive". If you enable it manually in-game, many shaders can show glowing textures for Bumblezone stuff.[27]
