What is SecurityCraft?
3 parts
SecurityCraft is all about defending your base. It adds blocks and items to lock it down, watch it and booby-trap it, so it's a great pick if you share a server with other players or just want your storage and builds to stay put. This pack includes SecurityCraft 1.10.2.1 for Minecraft 1.21.1.[1][2]
How ownership works
Every block in the mod belongs to the player who placed it. Only that owner can interact with it or break it. Many blocks also ignore their owner, so their effects only hit other players. You can turn that off per block through the Universal Block Modifier. Scoreboard team ownership is optional and can be enabled in the config.[1]
What you get
- Reinforced blocks: unbreakable versions of many vanilla blocks with a slightly darker tint. Vanilla pistons can't move them, but reinforced pistons can. You make them with a universal block reinforcer, and level 2 and up can also remove the reinforcement.[1]
- Technical blocks: the Keycard Reader, Inventory Scanner, Security Camera, Sentry, Trophy System, Rift Stabilizer, Block Change Detector, Projector and Fake Liquids, among others.[1]
- Modules: upgrades that add features such as redstone output or faster operation. The disguise module makes a block look like any other block, and the allowlist module makes a block ignore the players you name.[1]
- Passcode-protected blocks: a chest and furnaces that need a numerical code. Most have no crafting recipe and are made by right-clicking the vanilla block with a key panel. The codebreaker can bypass them with a 33% chance of success and only 3 uses.[1]
- Explosives: standard mines, block mines that look like ordinary blocks and explode when a non-owner breaks them, and a device that shoots mines at nearby mobs. The mine remote access tool lets you arm, defuse or detonate bound mines remotely.[1]
Where it shows up in the pack
SecurityCraft isn't a progression mod in this pack. The one place it appears in the quests is "The Data Center" quest in the Hostile Neural Networks chapter. That quest's glass task accepts Reinforced Black Stained Glass alongside several connected-glass variants, so you can use it for the black glass walls of the Data Center multiblock.[3]
Unverified Whether SecurityCraft has any other quest links or pack-specific recipe or config changes is not confirmed by the available sources.
How do you get started with SecurityCraft?
5 parts
SecurityCraft is all about defending your base, and two ideas shape everything you do with it. Every block belongs to the player who placed it, and only that owner can interact with it or break it. Many blocks also ignore their owner, so their effects only hit other players.[1]
First: reinforce your base
Start with reinforced blocks. They are unbreakable versions of many vanilla blocks, with a slightly darker tint so you can tell them apart. Vanilla pistons can't move them, but reinforced pistons can. You create them with a universal block reinforcer, and the higher levels have more durability. Level 2 and up can also remove the reinforcement again.[1]
Next: modules
Many SecurityCraft blocks can be upgraded with modules, which add things like redstone output or faster operation. The Disguise Module is a good one to make early, because it lets SecurityCraft blocks look like any other block in the game. That makes your defenses much harder to spot.[1][4]

Ore mines (changed by the pack)
The recipes for ore-themed mines, like the Diamond Ore Mine, are marked as changed by the pack. Don't rely on what you remember from the base mod, and use the recipe below. The sources don't say exactly what was changed.[4]

Bonus: a pack quest that uses SecurityCraft
The quest "The Data Center" quest covers a 7x7x7 multiblock whose walls and ceiling must be Black Stained Glass. Its block task accepts Reinforced Black Stained Glass as one of the options, so you can build those walls from reinforced glass.[3]

How does SecurityCraft work?
7 parts
SecurityCraft is all about locking down your base, and its systems are built around a few ideas: ownership, reinforced blocks, modules, passcodes and mines. They work mostly through redstone signals and player checks. The sources here don't describe power, fluid or item pipe handling for this mod, so I'm not covering those.[1]
Ownership
Every block in the mod belongs to the player who placed it. Only that owner can interact with the block or break it. Many blocks also ignore their owner, so their effects only hit other players. You can turn that off per block in the screen that opens when you right-click the block with a Universal Block Modifier.[1]
There is optional scoreboard team ownership. When it's enabled in the config, everyone on a team owns all the blocks placed by anyone on that team. With Jade or The One Probe installed, the overlay shows who owns a block.[1]
Reinforced blocks
Reinforced blocks are unbreakable versions of many vanilla blocks, with a slightly darker tint. Vanilla pistons can't move them, but reinforced pistons can. You make them with a Universal Block Reinforcer. Higher levels of the reinforcer have more durability, and level 2 and up can also remove the reinforcement. Not every vanilla block has a reinforced version, and modded blocks aren't supported.[1]
In this pack there is also some Create automation for reinforced wood and stone. The pack adds these recipes, so you can process reinforced blocks with Create machines. Cutting a Reinforced Acacia Log gives you its stripped version.[4]

Reinforced acacia blocks can also be cut into 6 Reinforced Acacia Planks per cut, and sandpaper turns Reinforced Andesite into Reinforced Polished Andesite.[4]

You can also smelt Reinforced Black Terracotta into Reinforced Black Glazed Terracotta.[4]

Modules
Many SecurityCraft blocks can be upgraded with modules. Modules add things like redstone output or let a block work faster. The disguise module makes a block look like any other block. The allowlist module lets the owner list player names, and those players are ignored by the block and by any password protection or targeting it has.[1]
The pack also has a recipe for the Denylist Module, shown in game as the Denylist Module.[4][5]

Passcode-protected blocks
These blocks only open for players who know the numerical code the owner set. They include a chest and several furnaces. Most have no crafting recipe. You make them by right-clicking the vanilla version with a Key Panel.[1][5]

The codebreaker can bypass them. It has a 33% chance of working and 3 uses, and if it succeeds the block opens for the player.[1]
The Passcode-protected Chest also has a use as a crafting part. It goes into the Briefcase recipe.[4]

Mines
Block mines look just like common blocks such as stone, dirt, deepslate, sand and every ore. If a player who isn't the owner breaks one, it explodes and leaves a fiery crater.[1]
The Coal Ore Mine recipe is marked as changed by the pack, so don't rely on the mod's default. The Ancient Debris Mine recipe is the mod's own.[4]

Technical blocks
- Block Change Detector: detects block changes in a range around it and logs the position, player, time and block state of each change.[1]
- Inventory Scanner: the owner configures prohibited items, and the scanner can confiscate them or stop a player carrying one from passing through.[1]
- Keycard Reader: accepts a previously defined set of keycards and only emits a redstone signal when the correct card is inserted.[1]
- Projector: projects fake blocks into the world. Fake Lava and Fake Water look like the real thing but act completely differently.[1]
- Rift Stabilizer: can prevent teleportation attempts nearby, such as chorus fruit or ender pearls.[1]
- Security Camera: lets players look through it from anywhere in their world.[1]
- Sentry and Trophy System: the Sentry shoots at approaching mobs, and the Trophy System uses laser technology to explode incoming projectiles.[1]
The Alarm is one more piece you can craft for a base.[4]

How do you progress through SecurityCraft?
4 parts
The quest that calls for SecurityCraft is "The Data Center" quest, in the Hostile Neural Networks chapter. Because of that, the tiers below follow the in-pack recipes rather than a SecurityCraft quest path.[3]
The quest that uses SecurityCraft
"The Data Center" quest comes after the Creating Loot quest. It has you build the Data Center, a 7x7x7 multiblock whose walls and ceiling must be Black Stained Glass. One of the accepted blocks in the glass task is Reinforced Black Stained Glass. The other options are connected glass variants. That makes this quest the main reason to craft SecurityCraft glass.[3]

Keycards: the clearest tiers
SecurityCraft's most obvious tiers are the keycards, which come in four levels: Level 1 Keycard, Level 2 Keycard, Level 3 Keycard and Level 4 Keycard. All four use the mod's normal recipes, not pack changes, and the recipe blocks below show them.[4]

Early to late items by recipe
Some SecurityCraft items sit later in the progression because their recipes use other SecurityCraft items. The Claymore and the Intelligent Munitions System follow the Bouncing Betty, and the Inventory Scanner follows the Laser Block. The recipe blocks below show most of these. The ore mine recipes are marked as changed by the pack. That covers the Coal, Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond and Emerald Ore Mines, plus the Deepslate Coal, Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Lapis Lazuli and Redstone Ore Mines. If you know the mod's default recipes, don't trust them here and use the pack's recipe instead. Diamond Ore Mine is a good example.[4]

Which All the Mons quests use SecurityCraft?
3 parts
SecurityCraft only shows up in one quest in this pack. It sits in the Hostile Neural Networks chapter, so it's a side note to that mod's progression rather than a SecurityCraft questline of its own.[3]
Hostile Neural Networks: The Data Center
The quest is "The Data Center" quest. It unlocks after you finish the Creating Loot quest in the same chapter, so you'll have worked through the Loot Fabricator side of things first.[3]
The quest has you build the Data Center, a 7x7x7 multiblock that combines the Simulation Chamber and the Loot Fabricator. It can handle 25 Self Aware Data Models at once. Instead of Mob Predictions, it produces loot directly, with the same possible modes as the Loot Fabricator.[3]
What the quest asks for
- The Data Center itself, which is the multiblock controller.[3]
- A black glass block for the walls and ceiling. Reinforced Black Stained Glass is one of the accepted options, alongside several black Connected Glass variants (clear, borderless, tinted borderless and scratched).[3]
- The Data Center IO Port.[3]
The quest also lists one more item task, but the pack file doesn't say what it is.[3]
Where SecurityCraft fits in
SecurityCraft's part is the glass. The quest text says the walls and ceiling must be Black Stained Glass, and the task accepts the reinforced version, so you can use it for the walls and ceiling of the build. IO Ports can substitute for the glass, and the controller can replace one bottom-wall block. The floor is a separate requirement: it must be Obsidian.[3]
Which SecurityCraft config options matter?
4 parts
Everything here lives in the pack's client config file, config/securitycraft-client.toml. These are the options you're most likely to touch, with the values this pack uses.[6]
Camera feed settings
If you use Frame camera feeds, these options decide how good the feed looks and how much it costs your frame rate. In this pack, all of them are at the mod's defaults.[6]
- frame_feed_fps_limit is 30 in this pack, the same as the mod default. It caps the frames per second the feed renders at, and you can set it from 10 to 260. Higher values lead to worse performance.[6]
- frame_feed_render_distance is 16, the mod default. It sets the radius of chunks requested from the server and rendered for a feed, from 2 to 32. If it's higher than your vanilla Render Distance or the server's view-distance, the smaller value is used.[6]
- frame_feed_resolution is 512, the mod default. The feed is always square, and you can set it from 1 to 16384. Smaller values are less detailed, and higher values may lead to diminishing returns.[6]
Reinforced block tint
Reinforced blocks are tinted so you can tell them apart from their vanilla counterparts. reinforced_block_tint_mode is set to "ALL" in this pack, so every reinforced block is tinted. The other allowed values are NONE, OWNED and UNOWNED. OWNED and UNOWNED tint only the blocks that do or don't belong to you.[6]
reinforced_block_tint_color is 10066329, the mod default. The accepted range is 0 to 16777215, written in 0xRRGGBB format, and the config says grayscale values look best. It applies to every block that matches the tint mode.[6]
The mod's project page says the tint can be turned off in the config file. Set the tint mode to NONE if you want reinforced blocks to look like their vanilla versions.[1][6]
Other client options
- more_performant_sri_rendering is false in this pack. Turning it on renders Secure Redstone Interfaces in "Receiver" mode without the spinning disk, which may give slight clientside performance gains.[6]
- sayThanksMessage is false in this pack, so you don't get the welcome message with tips when joining a world.[6]
- debug_camera_reset_tracing is false in this pack. It's a debug feature that, when enabled, tries to find and report mods that immediately reset the player's camera entity and stop security camera viewing from working. Leave it off unless you're troubleshooting.[6]
What the pack changed
Every option in the file that lists a mod default (FPS limit, render distance, resolution and tint color) matches that default in this pack. The file doesn't list defaults for the remaining options, so the sources here don't show whether the pack changed any of them.[6]
What changed in SecurityCraft between versions?
3 parts
All the Mons 1.3.0 ships the 1.21.1 build of SecurityCraft, version 1.10.2.1. It has been in the pack since 0.3.0-beta or earlier. I have no pack changelog entries for this mod, so everything below comes from the mod's own changelogs. The 1.10.1 changelog was cut off in my sources, so that list may be incomplete.[2]
1.10.2.1
- Fixed a bug where some SecurityCraft screens closed immediately and/or got other players kicked. This is the version your pack runs, so you have the fix.[2][7]
1.10.1
This was a big update. Some entries in the changelog are tagged for other Minecraft versions, so here is what applies to the 1.21.1 build in your pack.[2][8]
- New: the Incognito Mask, and an API method for checking ownership that respects it.[8]
- New: the Reinforced Lightning Rod, which is listed for 1.21.1.[8]
- New: a configuration option that limits how many chunks frame feeds may forceload.[8]
- New: an in-game message when an error occurs while capturing a frame feed, plus a debug feature that helps identify other mods stopping players from viewing a Security Camera.[8]
- Changed: the Motion-Activated Light has a new model and texture.[8]
- Changed: the Trophy System now shows its targeting laser even when it is disguised.[8]
- Changed: you can now set the signature of a Keycard Reader through a text box.[8]
Notable fixes in 1.10.1
- Frame feeds: fixed several mod incompatibilities that stopped them showing up correctly, the missing performance gain when breaking frames with an active feed, and active camera feeds in different dimensions interfering with each other's chunk loading.[8]
- Security: fixed several dupes and exploits, ownable blocks being mined by drills from other mods, and blocks disguised as vanilla blocks being mineable by anyone.[8]
- Crashes: fixed an Inventory Scanner crash and a crash when teleporting or respawning near Security Cameras.[8]
- Cameras: fixed Security Camera rotation desyncing between client and server, and players viewing a camera being invisible to spectators.[8]
- Other blocks: Lenses no longer disappear from Claymores, Security Cameras and Trophy Systems on world reload, Projector blocks no longer reset when you open its screen, and the Cage Trap now sets the owner of its topmost cage block correctly.[8]
- Tricking Retinal Scanners, Scanner Doors and Scanner Trapdoors with player heads works again, and a Secure Redstone Interface placed as a receiver now updates itself and nearby blocks correctly.[8]
