What is Polymorphic Energistics?
2 parts
Polymorphic Energistics is a small add-on that connects Polymorph with Applied Energistics 2. It adds Polymorph's recipe selection button to the AE2 Crafting Terminal and the Pattern Encoding Terminal.[1]
What it solves
Sometimes more than one crafting recipe fits the same ingredients. Without this mod, AE2 forces you to work with only one of those conflicting recipes. With it, the button lets you choose which recipe you want, both when you craft by hand in the Crafting Terminal and when you encode patterns in the Pattern Encoding Terminal.[1]
In this pack
All the Mons 1.3.0 ships Polymorphic Energistics 0.4.1. It has been in the pack since 0.3.0-beta or earlier, so it is a long-standing part of the mod list.[2]
The mod is an add-on for the AE2 terminals and not a standalone system, so there is nothing separate to build or set up. The button is added to those two terminals.[1]
How do you get started with Polymorphic Energistics?

Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Good news: there's nothing to craft to get started with Polymorphic Energistics. It's an add-on that adds Polymorph support to two Applied Energistics 2 terminals, the Crafting Terminal and the Pattern Encoding Terminal.[1]
What it does for you
When two crafting recipes conflict, Applied Energistics 2 on its own forces you to work with just one of them. This add-on puts Polymorph's recipe selection button on those two terminals, so you can choose which of the conflicting recipes you want.[1]
Your first steps
- Set up Applied Energistics 2 and get a Crafting Terminal or a Pattern Encoding Terminal. The add-on works through these two terminals, so you need at least one of them.[1]
- Open the terminal and look for Polymorph's recipe selection button. It's what you use to pick between conflicting crafting recipes.[1]
- When you hit a recipe conflict, choose the version you want with that button. This applies both when crafting and when encoding patterns.[1]
Unverified I couldn't confirm any in-pack recipes, quests, config options or items for this add-on, so there are no recipe blocks here. Where exactly the button sits on each terminal and how it behaves in detail is also unverified.
How does Polymorphic Energistics work?

Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Polymorphic Energistics is a small add-on, so there are no machines, multiblocks or power systems to learn here. It adds Polymorph support to two Applied Energistics 2 terminals: the Crafting Terminal and the Pattern Encoding Terminal.[1]
What it changes
Normally, when several crafting recipes conflict (same ingredients, different results), AE2 forces you to work with only one of them. With this mod, both terminals get Polymorph's recipe selection button, so you can choose which of the conflicting recipes you want.[1]
- Crafting Terminal: gets Polymorph's recipe selection button, so you can pick between conflicting crafting recipes.[1]
- Pattern Encoding Terminal: gets the same button, so you can choose the recipe you want before encoding a crafting pattern.[1]
What the sources don't cover
Unverified The available information doesn't describe how the button looks or behaves in detail, and it doesn't cover any config options, power or fluid handling, or automation behavior for this mod. In this pack, no config files or recipes for the mod's own items were found, so treat anything beyond the terminal button as unconfirmed.
What changed in Polymorphic Energistics between versions?
1 part
All the Mons 1.3.0 ships Polymorphic Energistics 0.4.1. The mod has been in the pack since All the Mons 0.3.0-beta or earlier, so it's been around for a good while.[2]
0.4.1
The mod's own changelog for 0.4.1 lists one change: slight integration with AE2WTLib. The Polymorph widget on a wireless crafting terminal now sits below the output slot instead of above it. That way it no longer overlaps the crafting item return widgets.[3]
Since 1.3.0 includes 0.4.1, you get this widget placement in the pack.[2][3]
Unverified No pack changelog entries for this mod were available, so changes from earlier mod versions and any pack-specific changes to it are unconfirmed.

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as polyeng, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
