What is Navas ZA Megas?
2 parts
Navas ZA Megas is an addon that brings all the Mega Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A into Cobblemon. It includes 45 Megas in total, DLC included. If you like Mega evolution in your Cobblemon runs, this is the mod that expands the roster for you.[1]
This pack ships version 1.7.3 of the mod. It has been in the pack since All the Mons 0.13.0-beta or earlier, so it's a long-standing part of the Mega setup.[2]
What you need to know
- The mod requires MSD (Mega Showdown) to work.[1]
- The original authors stopped updating it and deleted their Discord. It was handed to the MSD moderators, who are continuing it until it can be fully built into MSD.[1]
- Since the 1.5.2 release, the Megas use the same abilities as the Legends Z-A OU format on Pokémon Showdown. Check there for the exact details.[1]
- Abilities, ability effects and Mega Stone crafting recipes can all be viewed in-game, so you won't find lists on the project page.[1]
Compatibility notes from the mod page
If you ever add this mod to your own setup, the project page says not to use it alongside zamegaearly, because its content is already fully integrated. It also says not to mix it with other Mega packs, since that causes conflicts.[1]
The page also asks you to delete Eternal Flower Floette data from all packs, except Mega Showdown and Cobblemon (required since v1.3.1). Delete all previous versions of the mod too, including resource packs and data packs (required since v1.4, when it became a mod instead of a pack).[1]
Unverified The sources don't show where this mod fits in the pack's progression, and they show no ATM Star path or quest involvement for it.
How do you get started with Navas ZA Megas?
1 part
Welcome to the Mega side of the pack! This mod adds the Megas from Pokemon Legends ZA to Cobblemon, 45 in total, and it needs Mega Showdown to work. Everything here starts with crafting Mega Stones, so that's where we begin.[1]
Step by step
- Get the base Mega Stone. Every stone in this mod uses it in its recipe.[3]
- Start with zamega:excadrite. It's the only stone in this mod whose recipe doesn't ask for a diamond.[3]
- Stock up on diamonds. Every other stone in this mod asks for one, so mining a good stack early will save you trouble.[3]
- Expect to collect Cobblemon items too. Many recipes also ask for a type gem or a held item from Cobblemon, so check the recipe before you start gathering.[3]
- Leave the netherite stones for later: Darkranite, zamega:floettite, Heatranite, Magearnite, Zeraorite and Zygardite all ask for a netherite ingot.[3]

How does Navas ZA Megas work?
3 parts
This one is a short section, and there's a good reason. The sources I have describe no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation for Navas ZA Megas. It's an addon that brings the Mega Pokémon from Pokémon Legends ZA into Cobblemon, and it needs MSD to work.[1]
What the mod adds
The project page says the addon covers 45 Mega Pokémon in total, DLC included. Its Mega Stone items live under the zamega namespace, for example Absolite Z, zamega:excadrite and zamega:greninjite.[1][3]
The project page says that in the 1.5.2 release the Megas now use the same abilities as the Legends ZA OU format on Pokémon Showdown. If you want the exact details of what each one gets, that's where to look.[1]
How crafting works in this pack
Each stone in the recipe dump is a shaped crafting recipe, and every one of them is marked as changed by the pack, so don't assume the mod's own defaults apply here. They all use a Mega Stone from Mega Showdown plus their own extra ingredients, so check the recipe shown below or on the item's page.[3]

Other stones such as zamega:greninjite, zamega:clefablite and Garchompite Z are also marked as changed by the pack. The recipe dump I was given cuts off 19 recipes, so I can't confirm those ones here.[3]
The project page says the abilities, their effects and the Mega Stone crafting recipes can all be viewed in-game. The author asks people not to request lists, since the info is already in the game.[1]
Setup rules that affect how it works
- Don't use it alongside zamegaearly. Its content is already fully integrated here.[1]
- Don't mix it with other Mega packs, because conflicts will happen.[1]
- Delete Eternal Flower Floette data from all packs, except Mega Showdown and Cobblemon. This has been required since v1.3.1.[1]
- Delete all previous versions of the mod, including resource packs and data packs. This has been required since v1.4, when it became a mod instead of a pack.[1]
How do you progress through Navas ZA Megas?
5 parts
Navas ZA Megas adds a big batch of extra Mega Stones. In this pack every one of them is a shaped crafting recipe that the pack has changed, so the recipes below are the pack's own, not the mod's defaults.[3]
Unverified The sources here show no quests tied to this mod, so there is no quest chapter to follow. The tiers below are simply my grouping of the recipes by their extra ingredient, not an official ladder.
What every recipe has in common
Every stone in the mod is built around a Mega Stone. All but one also need a diamond. On top of that, most recipes add a Cobblemon gem or held item and a themed vanilla item, so your real progression is gathering those extras.[3]
The stone with no diamond
zamega:excadrite is the odd one out. It is the only stone here that skips the diamond: it uses a steel gem, a Mega Stone and an iron ingot.[3]

Mega Stone, diamond and themed items
Most of the stones sit here. They need a Mega Stone and a diamond plus themed items, with no gold, iron or netherite ingot in the recipe.[3]
- zamega:emboarite, zamega:greninjite, zamega:meganiumite and zamega:froslassite pair a Cobblemon gem or held item with a themed vanilla item, such as a fire charge, water bucket, flowering azalea or ice.[3]
- zamega:raichunitex and zamega:raichunitey are separate stones. They use a choice band and choice specs respectively, and both also need a lightning rod.[3]
- Baxcalibrite needs a diamond sword on top of the Mega Stone and diamond, and no Cobblemon item at all.[3]
- zamega:feraligite is the one stone that asks for lapis, alongside a razor fang.[3]

Stones that add an iron or gold ingot
Some stones add an ingot on top of the usual Mega Stone and diamond.[3]
- Gold ingot: zamega:chimechite, zamega:dragoninite, zamega:eelektrossite, zamega:falinksite, zamega:hawluchanite, zamega:pyroarite and zamega:scolipite.[3]
- Iron ingot: zamega:clefablite, zamega:scraftinite and zamega:skarmorite.[3]
The netherite stones
The last group adds a netherite ingot to the Mega Stone and diamond.[3]
- Darkranite, which also uses an ender eye.[3]
- zamega:floettite, which also uses a poppy.[3]
- Heatranite, which also uses a magmarizer.[3]
- Magearnite, which also uses a mental herb.[3]
- Zeraorite, which also uses an electirizer.[3]
- Zygardite, which also needs a nether star.[3]

How does Navas ZA Megas work with other mods?
2 parts
Navas ZA Megas adds the Mega Pokémon from Pokemon Legends ZA to Cobblemon, and it requires Mega Showdown. You can see that most clearly in how its Mega Stones are crafted. In this pack, every Mega Stone recipe from the mod is built on a base Mega Stone, combined with items from Cobblemon and vanilla Minecraft.[1][3]
Mega Showdown and Cobblemon: Mega Stone recipes
The Mega Stone recipes shown for this mod are shaped crafting recipes, and each is marked as changed by the pack. Nearly all of these also need a diamond from the common diamond gem tag. zamega:excadrite is the exception and asks for iron instead.[3]
The rest of each recipe is themed around the Pokémon. Depending on the stone, it brings in a Cobblemon type gem, a Cobblemon held item, or a vanilla item. These examples show the pattern.[3]

Some recipes also take an ingot from the common gold, iron or netherite tags, so any ingot registered under the matching tag works. Netherite is needed for Darkranite, zamega:floettite, Heatranite, Magearnite, Zeraorite and Zygardite.[3]
Here are a couple more examples of how the recipes look in the pack. Magearnite is built around a Cobblemon held item, and Zygardite is one of the stones that asks for a vanilla item, the Nether Star.[3]

Create and Ender IO: Soul Heart Mechanism
The one place this mod reaches beyond Cobblemon and Mega Showdown is the pack's recipe for the Soul Heart Mechanism. It is a Create sequenced assembly that the pack has changed, and Magearnite is one of its inputs.[3]

Unverified No quests that use this mod's items were found in the sources provided, so any quest connections are unconfirmed.
What changed in Navas ZA Megas between versions?
3 parts
All the Mons 1.1.1 ships Navas ZA Megas 1.7.3. The mod was first included in All the Mons 0.13.0-beta or earlier. Here are the notable changes from the mod's own changelogs, newest first.[2]
1.7.3
- Alolan Raichu could mega evolve outside of battle. That is fixed.[4]
- The PT_BR localization was updated.[4]
- New Greninja animations (credit: Horret).[4]
- New Eelektross model (credit: Antonio) and animations (credit: Sherbet).[4]
- New Scovillain model (credit: Presii).[4]
1.7.2 and 1.7.1
The 1.7.2 changelog only says "Champions Changes!" and gives no further detail, so I can't tell you exactly what changed there. The 1.7.1 release is listed simply as bug fixes.[5][6]
1.6.1
- Chesnaught's poser was fixed.[7]
- Floette's Eternal Flower move pool was fixed.[7]
- Chesnaught's ability was fixed. It is now bulletproof, matching the one seen in the Pokémon Champions trailer.[7]
- A missing path for the DynamaxBlocked setting was fixed. Before this, some mega evolutions could use Dynamax.[7]
I only have changelogs for these four releases, so anything released in between is not covered here.[4][5][6][7]
