What is Measurements?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.12 guide
This pack ships Measurements version 3.0.0, built for NeoForge 1.21 (the jar is Measurements-neoforge-1.21-3.0.0.jar). It has been in the pack since version 0.32 or earlier, so it isn't a recent addition.[1]
Unverified I couldn't confirm what Measurements adds in-game from the sources I have: no description, guidebook, items, recipes or configs for it. Because of that, I can't tell you who it's for or where it fits in the pack's progression. I also have nothing confirming a role in the ATM Star path or any related quests, so I'm not claiming one.
How do you get started with Measurements?
1 part
Getting started with Measurements is quick, because the pack's recipe dump shows just one thing to make: the Tape Measure. Craft it first, since everything else you do with this mod starts from it.[2][3]
Step 1: Craft the Tape Measure
Crafting Shaped
| Empty slot | Empty slot | |
| any iron ingot | ||
| Empty slot |
Recipe id: measurements:tape_measure
This is a shaped crafting recipe that comes from the mod itself. The recipe block shows the exact layout.
The recipe block above is rendered from the pack's own data, so follow it rather than any recipe you remember from outside this pack.[2]
Unverified How the Tape Measure is used in play is not shown in the sources here. No guidebook, config file or quest for Measurements was available to check, so this section stops at crafting it.
How does Measurements work?
The sources for this pack only show one thing from Measurements: the Tape Measure. There are no machines, multiblocks, power or fluid systems to cover here, so this section stays short.[2][3]
You make the Tape Measure at a crafting table. It uses a shaped recipe, so the ingredients have to be laid out in the right pattern, and the recipe comes from the mod itself. The pack dump does not show it being changed.[2]

The in-pack recipe for the Tape Measure, a shaped crafting recipe.
How do you progress through Measurements?
There is no tier ladder to climb with Measurements. The sources for this pack show a single item from the mod, the Tape Measure, and one recipe that makes it.[2]
The Tape Measure is made in a normal crafting table using a shaped recipe. The pack dump lists it as a mod recipe, so it comes from the mod itself and is not a custom pack recipe. Here is the exact in-pack recipe:[2]

| Empty slot | Empty slot | |
| any iron ingot | ||

Recipe id: measurements:tape_measure
The only recipe in the pack that produces a Measurements item.
Unverified Whether the pack's quest book mentions this mod, or places it in any chapter, is not shown by the sources here, so no quest path for the Tape Measure is described in this section.
Which Measurements config options matter?
2 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide
Measurements only has client-side options, all in config/measurements-client.toml. They control how the measuring lines and their text look on your screen. In this pack, every one of them is set to the mod default, so nothing has been changed from what the mod ships with.[4]
Line options
- client.lineColor is set to YELLOW, which is the mod default. You can switch it to RANDOM or any of the standard dye colors, such as WHITE, LIME, CYAN or RED.[4]
- client.lineWidth is 2, the mod default. It sets how thick the line is, and accepts values from 1.0 to 16.0.[4]
- client.lineWidthMax is also 2, the mod default. It sets the thickness when the line is further away, and accepts values from 1 to 16.[4]
Text options
- client.textColor is YELLOW, the mod default. It accepts the same colors as the line, plus RANDOM and XYZRGB.[4]
- client.textSize is 0.02, the mod default. It accepts values from 0.01 to 0.1.[4]
