Measurements in All the Mods 10

Measurements is one of the mods bundled in this pack. The pack ships version 3.0.3, built for NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.1.^[1]

It has been in the pack for a while. The mod list shows it was already included in version 2.25 or earlier, so it isn't a recent addition.^[1]

Unverified The sources I have don't describe what Measurements does in gameplay, who it is aimed at, or where it fits in the pack's progression. They also show no quests involving it and no place for it on the ATM Star path. Check the mod in-game before relying on any of that.

Getting started with Measurements is short and simple. The mod's one item in this pack's recipe data is the Tape Measure, so that is the first (and only) thing to craft.^[2]

Step 1: Craft the Tape Measure

The Tape Measure uses a shaped crafting recipe, so the layout in the grid matters. Follow the in-pack recipe below exactly rather than guessing the arrangement.^[2]

Tape MeasureMod recipe

Crafting Shaped

Crafting Shaped

Empty slot	Gray Wool	Empty slot
Gray Wool	any iron ingot	Yellow Wool
Empty slot	Gray Wool	Yellow Wool

Recipe id: measurements:tape_measure

This is a shaped crafting recipe, and the iron slot accepts any iron ingot.

Unverified What the Tape Measure does once you hold it, such as how you take a measurement, what it shows and what controls it has, is not shown by the sources here. No guidebook or item descriptions for the mod were available, so check it in game.

The only thing the pack's recipe data shows for Measurements is the Tape Measure. It is made with a shaped crafting recipe, so you craft it in a crafting grid.^[2]

The iron slot accepts any ingot from the common iron ingots tag.

Unverified How the Tape Measure works in use (how you take a measurement, what it displays, any controls or limits) is not shown by the sources here. The pack has no config files for this mod, and there is no guidebook or lang-file description to check, so test it in your own world.

Measurements doesn't have a tier ladder in this pack. The only thing the sources show for it is a single craftable item, the Tape Measure, so there's no progression path to walk through here.^[2]

The Tape Measure is made with a shaped crafting recipe that comes from the mod itself. Here's the exact in-pack recipe:^[2]

This is a shaped crafting table recipe, and it is the only Measurements recipe in the pack's recipe dump.

Unverified The sources here show no quest for this mod, so any quest-driven milestones would be in the pack's quest book, and nothing there is confirmed for you. No in-jar guidebook turned up either, so anything about further tiers or upgrades is unverified.

Here's what the sources let me confirm about how Measurements has moved through the pack. The mod itself has been in All the Mods 10 for a long time: it was first included in 2.25 or earlier, and All the Mods 10 8.1 ships version 3.0.3 (the NeoForge 1.21.1 build).^[1]

Pack release changes

• All the Mods 10 2.47: updated Measurements from 3.0.0 to 3.0.1.^[3]
• All the Mods 10 4.11: updated Measurements from 3.0.1 to 3.0.3.^[4]
• All the Mods 10 8.1: ships Measurements 3.0.3, so no further updates to the mod have been made since 4.11 as far as the sources show.^[1][4]

Unverified What actually changed inside Measurements between 3.0.0, 3.0.1 and 3.0.3 (bug fixes, features or config changes) is not confirmed. The pack changelogs only record the version bumps, and no changelogs for the shipped jars are available.
