Industrial Foregoing: Woot Addon is a mod in Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2, where it is version 20.1.1.2. Woot Revived Addon that add compatibility with Industrial Foregoing (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)

What is Industrial Foregoing: Woot Addon?

2 parts

Industrial Foregoing: Woot Addon is a small bridge mod. It is an addon for Woot Revived that adds compatibility with Industrial Foregoing. This pack includes version 20.1.1.2.[1][2]

What it adds

The mod adds 3 upgrades, and each one ties a Woot factory to an Industrial Foregoing machine:[1]

It also adds some laser drill recipes for obtaining stygian dust and mob tears fluid.[1]

Where it sits in the quest book

The pack's quest book covers the mod in the chapter "Woot ?!?", in the "Resource Generation" group. The chapter is mostly about Woot Revived itself.[3]

Each of the three upgrades has its own quest that asks you to obtain the upgrade item: a quest in "Woot ?!?", a quest in "Woot ?!?" and a quest in "Woot ?!?". All three come directly after a quest in "Woot ?!?", the same starting point as many of the Woot Revived upgrade quests, such as a quest in "Woot ?!?" and a quest in "Woot ?!?".[1][3]

No other quest in the chapter lists these three as a prerequisite. They are side branches off the upgrade base, not steps on the way to the multiblock tiers.[3]

Tip: The laser drill recipes for stygian dust tie in nicely with the chapter's "Stygian Madness" quest quest, which asks for stygian dust and a stygian ingot. The mob tears fluid fits the a quest in "Woot ?!?" quest in the same chapter.[1][3]

How do you get started with Industrial Foregoing: Woot Addon?

2 parts

This addon connects Woot Revived with Industrial Foregoing, and it adds 3 upgrades. In this pack, the quest book covers them in the chapter "Woot ?!?" (group "Resource Generation", chapter 13 of 44). You make the upgrades in an Industrial Foregoing Dissolution Chamber, and every one of them needs Woot Revived's Upgrade Base, so that is where you start.[1][3][4]

What to make, in order

  1. Make the Upgrade Base first. The quest a quest in "Woot ?!?" asks for it, all three addon upgrade quests come after it, and each of the three upgrade recipes uses 2 of them.[3][4]
  2. Make the Mob Crusher Upgrade (a quest in "Woot ?!?"). It produces mob essence depending on the XP drop.[1][3]
  3. Make the Laser Drill Upgrade (a quest in "Woot ?!?"). It produces mob specific fluid laser drill recipes.[1][3]
  4. Make the Mob Slaughter Factory Upgrade (a quest in "Woot ?!?"). It produces Pink Slime or Meat depending on the mob's health and type.[1][3]

The quest book puts all three directly after the Upgrade Base quest, so you can do them in whatever order suits your setup. Here are the in-pack recipes.[3]

Stygian Laser Lens

The addon also adds the Stygian Laser Lens, which is made from a Stygian Ingot. In the quest book, the Stygian Ingot comes from "Stygian Madness" quest, described as the main resource of the mod, which follows the chapter's opening "woot is going on" quest.[3][4][5]

How does Industrial Foregoing: Woot Addon work?

3 parts

This addon is a bridge between Woot Revived and Industrial Foregoing, and it does that with three upgrade items.[1]

What the three upgrades do

The addon also adds laser drill recipes for obtaining stygian dust and mob tears fluid.[1]

Crafting the upgrades

All three upgrades are made in the Dissolution Chamber, so that machine is your entry point to the whole addon.[4]

The Laser Drill Upgrade is the one the pack handles itself. Its Dissolution Chamber recipe is added by the pack's own script, and it needs 2,000 mB of Woot Revived's vitality fuel fluid with a processing time of 200. Get that fluid line running before you try to make it.[4][6]

The Stygian Laser Lens

The addon also adds the Stygian Laser Lens, and this pack gives you three recipes for it. One goes through the Dissolution Chamber and two are shapeless crafting recipes.[4]

How do you progress through Industrial Foregoing: Woot Addon?

4 parts

This addon is small, so its progression is short. It adds three factory upgrades, Mob Crusher Upgrade, Laser Drill Upgrade and Mob Slaughter Factory Upgrade, plus the Stygian Laser Lens. It has no tier system of its own. In this pack you reach it through the Woot quest chapter.[3][4]

Where it sits in the quest book

In the pack's quest book, the three upgrade quests sit in the "Woot ?!?" chapter of the "Resource Generation" group, chapter 13 of 44. Each of them is unlocked by the a quest in "Woot ?!?" quest, which fits the recipes below, since every upgrade recipe uses Upgrade Base. That puts them beside the other first-step upgrade quests, such as a quest in "Woot ?!?" and a quest in "Woot ?!?".[3][4]

No quest in the chapter lists any of these three as a prerequisite, so they are side branches. They don't gate anything further down the line.[3]

Crafting the upgrades

All three upgrades are made in the Dissolution Chamber from Industrial Foregoing. Each recipe also uses the Woot Upgrade Base, which is why the quests hang off that item.[4]

The Stygian Laser Lens

The lens has no quest of its own in the chapter. It is built around the Stygian Ingot, which the "Stygian Madness" quest quest asks you to get, together with Stygian Dust. The Dissolution Chamber makes it from the ingot and glass panes.[3][4]

Two shapeless crafting recipes also give you the lens. One combines the Industrial Foregoing lenses with a Stygian Ingot. The other combines an existing Stygian Laser Lens with an ingot.[4]

The multiblock tiers around it

The tier breakdown in this chapter belongs to Woot's multiblock factory, not to this addon, and none of the tier quests asks for an item from this addon. Each tier quest asks you to hand in cells, pylons and plinths of one material, and the quest book unlocks each one after the previous tier and a shard drop upgrade quest. This is what the quests ask for:[3]

  1. "Tier 1 Multiblock" quest asks for the copper cell, pylon and plinth, plus factory parts such as the export, import and heart. It unlocks after the Prism, Dye Plates and Enchanted Copper Plate quests.[3]
  2. "Tier 2 Multiblock" quest asks for 12 iron plinths, 20 iron pylons, an iron cell, 3 secondary factory controller bases and 4 factory upgrades. It unlocks after Tier 1 and a quest in "Woot ?!?".[3]
  3. "Tier 3 Multiblock" quest asks for a gold cell, 24 gold plinths and 36 gold pylons. It unlocks after Tier 2 and a quest in "Woot ?!?".[3]
  4. "Tier 4 Multiblock" quest asks for a diamond cell, 32 diamond pylons and 32 diamond plinths. It unlocks after Tier 3 and a quest in "Woot ?!?".[3]
  5. "Tier 5 Multiblock" quest asks for a netherite cell, 12 netherite pylons and 24 netherite plinths. It unlocks after Tier 4 and a quest in "Woot ?!?".[3]

How does Industrial Foregoing: Woot Addon work with other mods?

3 parts

This mod is the bridge between Woot Revived and Industrial Foregoing. It adds three upgrades for Woot factories that tie into Industrial Foregoing machines, and a lens item for Industrial Foregoing's laser drills.[1]

The three upgrades

All three are made in Industrial Foregoing's Dissolution Chamber, and each one needs the Woot Revived Upgrade Base. That is the cross-mod link: you build the Industrial Foregoing machines first, then dissolve them into a Woot upgrade.[4]

Dissolution Chamber (industrialforegoing)

Recipe id: ifwootaddon:dissolution_chamber/mob_slaughter_factory_upgrade

The Laser Drill Upgrade recipe was added by the pack itself. It is also the one that reaches into a third mod, since it uses a Thermal item alongside the Industrial Foregoing and Woot Revived parts.[4]

Stygian Laser Lens

The Stygian Laser Lens is made in the Dissolution Chamber from a Woot Revived Stygian Ingot and glass panes.[4]

Once you have one, you can turn it into a coloured Industrial Foregoing laser lens by crafting it with a matching dye. Black dye, for example, gives Laser Lens15. There is a recipe like this for every dye colour.[4]

Crafting Shapeless

Recipe id: ifwootaddon:laser_lens_black

It also works in reverse. Combining all the Industrial Foregoing lenses with a Stygian Ingot gives you the Stygian Laser Lens back.[4]

In the quest book

The three upgrades sit in the "Woot ?!?" chapter, in the Resource Generation group (chapter 13 of 44). The quests are a quest in "Woot ?!?", a quest in "Woot ?!?" and a quest in "Woot ?!?". Each one comes right after the a quest in "Woot ?!?" quest, so grab the Upgrade Base first.[3]

The chapter has 68 quests and 11 of them are not shown here, so check the quest book for those.[3]

Unverified The mod's project page says it also adds laser drill recipes for stygian dust and mob tears fluid. I could not confirm those recipes in this pack's data, so check the laser drill in game before relying on them.

Which Project Infinity 0.1 quests use Industrial Foregoing: Woot Addon?

2 parts

The quest book asks you for this mod's items in three quests, all in the "Woot ?!?" chapter of the Resource Generation group.[3]

The three addon quests

The chapter has a quest called a quest in "Woot ?!?" that asks you for the Woot upgrade base item. It has no prerequisite, and the quest book places all three addon quests straight after it. Each one asks for a single item:[3]

They sit next to other quests that also follow the upgrade base, such as a quest in "Woot ?!?", a quest in "Woot ?!?" and the first Looting, Efficiency, Rate, XP, Mass and Decapitate upgrade quests. None of the three addon quests is listed as a prerequisite of another quest in the chapter.[3]

How the rest of the chapter flows

The main line starts at an untitled checkmark quest, a quest in "Woot ?!?". After it comes "Stygian Madness" quest, which asks for stygian dust and a stygian ingot. Next is a quest in "Woot ?!?", then a quest in "Woot ?!?", then a quest in "Woot ?!?".[3]

After the factory base, the book branches into a quest in "Woot ?!?", a quest in "Woot ?!?" and a quest in "Woot ?!?". Further along come a quest in "Woot ?!?", a quest in "Woot ?!?" and "Dye Plates" quest, and all three of those are listed before "Tier 1 Multiblock" quest.[3]

The multiblock tier quests then follow in order, and each one is also listed after a shard drop upgrade quest:[3]

  1. "Tier 2 Multiblock" quest comes after Tier 1 and a quest in "Woot ?!?".[3]
  2. "Tier 3 Multiblock" quest comes after Tier 2 and a quest in "Woot ?!?".[3]
  3. "Tier 4 Multiblock" quest comes after Tier 3 and a quest in "Woot ?!?".[3]
  4. "Tier 5 Multiblock" quest comes after Tier 4 and a quest in "Woot ?!?".[3]

Another branch starts at "Wooting Time" quest, which comes after Tier 1. From there the book continues to a quest in "Woot ?!?", a quest in "Woot ?!?" and a quest in "Woot ?!?", and also through the two Mob Shard quests to a quest in "Woot ?!?". The chapter ends with an untitled "Congratulation!" checkmark, a quest in "Woot ?!?", which comes after the Fake Spawner and Vitality Fuel Bucket quests.[3]

What changed in Industrial Foregoing: Woot Addon between versions?

1 part

Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 ships Industrial Foregoing: Woot Addon 20.1.1.2. The mod was already in the pack by Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.45.4 or earlier, so it has been part of the pack for a while. The sources don't include any pack changelog entries for this mod, so the notes below come from the mod's own changelogs.[2]

Mod changelog

  • 20.1.1.2: a Japanese translation was added. This is the version your pack has.[2][7]
  • 20.1.1.1: the laser drill got a refactor, so each lens now has multiple variants.[8]

The changelog entries are short and don't say how the new lens variants behave in play, so check the laser drill lenses in your own world if you want the details.[8]
