What is Weather Gate?
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.23.0 guide
Weather Gate is part of this pack in version 2.0.0, shipped as the file weathergate-neo-2.0.0+mc1.21.1.jar. It has been in the pack since version 1.0.1 or earlier, so it is a long-standing part of the mod list rather than a recent addition.[1]
Unverified What Weather Gate does in this pack, including its items, recipes and settings, could not be confirmed from the sources available for this guide, so this overview does not describe its mechanics.
How do you get started with Weather Gate?
3 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide
Weather Gate is a small mod in this pack. Its items are made with ordinary shaped crafting recipes, and the recipe blocks below show the exact in-pack versions. Here is the order I'd make them in.[2]
Start with Sun In A Box
Begin with Sun In A Box. It is the one item here whose effect the sources confirm: its tooltip says it makes the Sun Light value always noon, and it is marked Client Only.[3]

Next, the Snow Catcher
After that, craft the Snow Catcher. It also has a shaped crafting recipe in this pack.[2]

Finally, the Teriann Controller
Last is the Teriann Controller, which the pack's recipe list calls the Teriann Controller. Its recipe is shaped crafting too.[2]

How does Weather Gate work?
4 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.23.0 guide
Weather Gate adds the Snow Catcher, the Sun In A Box and the Teriann Controller to this pack. The sources only explain a little about how each one behaves, so this section stays short.[3]
Sun In A Box
The tooltip on the Sun In A Box says it makes the Sun Light value always noon, and it is marked Client Only.[3]

Teriann Controller
If the Teriann Controller has no data to work with, it shows the message "No Data Found! Replace Block and Try Again!". The message itself tells you what to do: replace the block and try again.[3]

The Snow Catcher is made with the crafting recipe below.[4]

Breaking and moving the blocks
Each of these blocks drops itself as an item when broken, with a loot table that only checks that the block survives an explosion. That means you can pick them up and place them somewhere else.[5][6][7]
Unverified Any settings for these blocks would live in a config file, but the pack has no config files for this mod and the sources here do not show any adjustable values.
How do you progress through Weather Gate?
4 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.23.0 guide
Weather Gate has no tier ladder in the sources for this pack. Its items are each made from their own crafting recipe, and the recipe dump lists them all as the mod's own recipes, so nothing shows that the pack changed them. They are all shaped crafting recipes, so you lay them out on a crafting table.[4]

Teriann Controller
The Teriann Controller shows up in game as the Teriann Controller. Its recipe id is spelled teriann_controller, which differs from the item id, so keep that in mind if you search for it:[4][7]

Moving them around
The Snow Catcher, Sun In A Box and Teriann Controller are blocks that drop themselves when broken, so you can pick them up and move them. Their loot tables each give a guaranteed drop of the block's own item, as long as it survives an explosion.[5][6][7]
