How do you get started with FTB Team Bases?
Same as in the FTB StoneBlock 4 1.22.0 guide
The only thing I can confirm about FTB Team Bases in this pack is that it adds the Portal Block, listed in the mod's own language file as "Portal Block".[1]
I don't have a crafting recipe, quest or config option for this mod in the pack, so I can't give you a first-steps order or a recipe block for it. I'd rather leave that out than guess.[1]
Unverified How you obtain the Portal Block, what it does, and how team bases are created or entered in this pack are not confirmed by the available sources.
How does FTB Team Bases work?
3 parts
Same as in the FTB StoneBlock 4 1.22.0 guide
The sources for this mod only cover its world generation data and one block name, so this section is short. Here is what is confirmed for this pack.[1][2][3]
The start structure
The mod registers a structure called ftbteambases:start. It sits in a structure set of the same name, and the set contains only that one structure, with a weight of 1.[2]
The set uses the placement type ftbteambases:one_chunk_only with cx 0 and cz 0. Going by the placement type and those values, the structure is meant to generate in a single chunk and not repeat across the world. The files don't spell out anything beyond that.[2]
The structure itself is generated in the top_layer_modification step, and its start height is set to an absolute value of 64.[3]
The ftbteambases:start structure set is also listed in the mod's default structure set tag.[4]
Where it can generate
The structure is allowed in any biome from the mod's has_structure/start tag. That tag covers the usual Overworld biomes (plains, forests, deserts, oceans, mountains and caves), plus Nether biomes like minecraft:nether_wastes and End biomes like minecraft:the_end. It also includes minecraft:the_void.[3][5]
The tag is set to not replace, so other data packs can add more biomes to it.[5]
The portal block
The mod's language file names one block, the Portal Block, shown in game as Portal Block.[1]
Unverified How the Portal Block behaves, how team bases are created and assigned, and whether the start structure is used for them is not covered by the sources. The mod has no config files in this pack and no recipes produce its items, so none of that can be confirmed here.
Which FTB Team Bases config options matter?
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.23.0 guide
The only config value I can confirm for this mod in this pack is in the structure toggle file. There, start.start is set to true.[6]
Unverified What this option does in detail, and whether true is the mod default or a value the pack changed, is not confirmed by the pack files I have, so check the file in your own instance before editing it.
