What is Tree Tap?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.12 guide
Tree Tap is part of the mod list in this pack. This version of the pack ships Tree Tap 1.21.1-0.4.2, and it has been in the pack since version 2.11 or earlier.[1]
Unverified I couldn't confirm from the available sources what Tree Tap adds, how its mechanics work, or who it suits best. The pack's files show no in-pack recipes, config values or quests for it, and no guidebook was found inside the mod. I haven't described any gameplay here to avoid guessing.
Unverified No ATM Star path or quest involvement for Tree Tap was found, so where it fits in the pack's progression is unconfirmed. Check the mod in-game, for example in the recipe viewer, before building a plan around it. This site does hold FTB Skies 2's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you get started with Tree Tap?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
The only Tree Tap item the pack's recipe data confirms is the Tap, so that is the first thing to make with Tree Tap.[2]
This is the pack's recipe for the Tap, a shaped crafting recipe.
The recipe is shaped, so follow the layout shown above. It takes any item from the shared copper ingots tag, so you don't need one specific mod's copper ingot.[2]
Unverified The sources here do not show how the Tap is used, what it collects, which trees work with it, or whether other Tree Tap items exist. Check this in-game before you build a setup around it.
How does Tree Tap work?
2 parts
The core piece of Tree Tap is the Tap. The mod also adds a block named Sap Collector.[3][4]
The Tap
The Tap is both an item and a block. Its tooltip includes a line labelled "Speed modifier" followed by a value, so you can read a Tap's speed modifier on the item itself.[3]
A shaped crafting recipe that comes from the mod itself.
The mod also adds a Jade plugin for the Tap. It appears in Jade's plugin options under the name "Tap".[3]
Sap Collectors
The mod has a sap collector block and a separate wooden sap collector block, and both show up in game under the name Sap Collector.[3]
How do you progress through Tree Tap?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
The recipe data for this mod in the pack shows one thing: the Tap. It is a shaped crafting recipe, so you make it in a normal crafting grid.[2]
This is the in-pack crafting recipe for the Tap, the only Tree Tap recipe the pack data lists.
That makes the Tap your starting point with this mod. The pack data here does not show any further tiers or upgrade steps, so there is nothing more to lay out for this section.[2]
