What is Occult Cooking?
1 part
Occult Cooking is a small bridge mod that lets Occultism and Cooking for Blockheads work together. If you already keep your items in Occultism storage, this lets your kitchen use them directly.[1]
This pack includes version 2.0.0 of the mod.[2]
The Occult Kitchen Station
The mod adds one new block: the Occult Kitchen Station. You place it as part of your Cooking for Blockheads kitchen.[1]
- Place the Occult Kitchen Station as part of your Cooking for Blockheads kitchen.[1]
- Hold the station, sneak and right-click any Occultism Dimensional Storage Actuator to bind it.[1]
- Once it is connected, you can consume items from your Occultism storage right from your cooking table.[1]
The link has no power cost and no range limit. It even reaches across dimensions, as long as the actuator's chunk stays loaded.[1]
The station binds to any Dimensional Storage Actuator, whether you grow a standard one with stabilizers or drop in a Stabilized actuator on its own.[1]
The mod also has its own in-game guide, with an entry on the Kitchen Station that covers linking, placement and the block's connection states.[3][4]
How do you get started with Occult Cooking?
2 parts
Occult Cooking is a small mod with a big payoff. It adds one block, the Occult Kitchen Station, which lets your Cooking for Blockheads kitchen cook with items straight out of your Occultism storage network. Getting started is a short job of crafting, placing and linking that one block.[1][5]
Step by step
- Craft the Occult Kitchen Station. It is the only new block in the mod, so there is nothing else to make first. The recipe is below.[1][6]
- Place the station in your kitchen, either next to the cooking table or wired in through counters.[5]
- Hold the station and sneak-right-click your Dimensional Storage Actuator (the storage controller) to link it. The link is saved on the block.[1][5]
- Check that it connected. The station's screen glows when it is connected. Its tooltip also says whether it is linked to an actuator or unlinked.[5]

Why this order
The station only does its job once it is part of your kitchen and bound to an actuator. Placing it first and linking second is the natural flow. Once it is connected, you can use items from your Occultism storage right from the cooking table.[1][5]
The link has no power cost and no range limit. It even reaches across dimensions, as long as the actuator's chunk stays loaded. If you unload that chunk, the station can no longer reach the actuator.[1][5]
The station binds to any Dimensional Storage Actuator. That covers a standard one you grow with stabilizers and a Stabilized actuator dropped in on its own.[1]
The mod also has its own in-game guide, the Occult Cooking Guide, which opens with a short welcome to how Occult Cooking connects your kitchen to Occultism.[4][5]
How does Occult Cooking work?
5 parts
Occult Cooking is a small bridge mod with one block, the Occult Kitchen Station. It lets your Cooking for Blockheads kitchen cook with items straight from your Occultism storage network, so there is no running back and forth to chests.[1][5]

Linking it to your storage
The station connects to an Occultism Dimensional Storage Actuator, which is the storage controller of your network. Hold the station in your hand and sneak-right-click the actuator to bind it.[1][5]
The link is saved on the block, and it works across dimensions as long as the actuator stays chunk-loaded. The station binds to any Dimensional Storage Actuator, whether you grew a standard one with stabilizers or dropped in a Stabilized actuator on its own.[1][5]
The item's tooltip tells you whether it is linked. When it is not, the tooltip reminds you to sneak-right-click an actuator to link it.[5]
Placing it in your kitchen
Place the linked station as part of your Cooking for Blockheads kitchen: next to the cooking table, or wired in through counters. Once it is connected, you can consume items from your Occultism storage right from the cooking table, and the station's screen glows.[1][5]
What it does and does not cost
- There is no power cost and no range limit.[1]
- Occultism stores items only, so water and milk are not pulled from the network. You handle them the usual Cooking for Blockheads way, with a sink, a milk source and so on.[1]
Reading the station's state
The block can be Connected, Linked but Offline, or Unlinked. If you use Jade, it shows the state for you: it reports the device as online or offline, shows what the station is connected to and where, and shows "Linked (Actuator Unreachable)" when the station is linked but cannot reach its actuator.[1][5]
When you break the block, it drops itself as an item.[7]
How do you progress through Occult Cooking?
1 part
Occult Cooking doesn't have a tier ladder in this pack. The only recipe the pack dump shows for the mod is the Occult Kitchen Station, so that is the one crafting step to know about.[6]

When you break the Occult Kitchen Station, its loot table drops the block itself, as long as it survives an explosion. So you can pick it up and move it.[7]
What changed in Occult Cooking between versions?
1 part
FTB Evolution 2 1.1.0 ships Occult Cooking 2.0.0. The mod was already in the pack by 1.0.2 or earlier, so it isn't a new arrival in this release.[2]
Occult Cooking 2.0.0
This was the first release for Minecraft 26.1.2. It bridges Cooking for Blockheads with Occultism, so your kitchen can draw on your Occultism storage.[8]
- New Occult Kitchen Station: sneak-right-click a Dimensional Storage Actuator (Occultism's storage controller) with the station in hand to link it, then place it in your Cooking for Blockheads kitchen. Every item in the linked storage network becomes an ingredient for the Cooking Table.[8]
- It works at any distance, even across dimensions, as long as the actuator's chunk stays loaded. It needs no power and has no range limit, so it just works while linked.[8]
- Optional integrations: an in-game Patchouli guide, info pages in JEI and REI, and status readouts in Jade and The One Probe.[8]
