What is Mystical Automation?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.10.0-beta guide
Mystical Automation is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. It gives you machines that automate the fiddly parts of that mod, so you can stop doing everything by hand.[1]
This pack includes version 2.0.7 of the mod.[2]
What it adds
- Infuser: automatically infuses Essences using Infusion Crystals.[1]
- Crafter: automatically crafts regular crafting recipes.[1]
- Farmer: automatically grows and harvests crops in a single block.[1]
- Fertilizer: automatically applies fertilizers like Fertilized Essence or Bone Meal to a field of crops.[1]
- Infusion and Awakening Altarnators: automatically craft Infusion or Awakening Altar recipes with a single block.[1]
- Enchanternator: automatically applies enchantments to items.[1]
Quest book placement
Unverified The sources here do not show where the pack's quest book places this mod: no chapter, group or neighbouring quests, and whether the ATM Star path uses it. Check the pack's quest book in game for that.
How do you get started with Mystical Automation?
7 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide
Mystical Automation adds machines that automate different parts of Mystical Agriculture. It is an add-on to that mod, so you will want Mystical Agriculture up and running first. The Automation category in Mystical Agriculture's in-game book covers this mod's content too.[1][3]
A sensible order to build things
The sources don't set an official progression for these machines. The order below is my suggestion, based on what each machine does. Every recipe block shows the exact in-pack recipe, so you don't need to look the ingredients up anywhere else.[1][4]
Start with the Farmer
The Farmer grows and harvests crops in a single block. It is the natural first machine if you are tired of replanting and harvesting by hand.[1]

Add the Fertilizer

Automate essences with the Infuser
The Infuser automatically infuses Essences using Infusion Crystals. Build it once you want that step to run without you.[1]

Handle crafting with the Crafter
The Crafter automatically crafts regular crafting recipes, so you don't have to stand at a crafting table.[1]

Move on to the Altarnators
The Infusion Altarnator and the Awakening Altarnator automatically craft Infusion Altar and Awakening Altar recipes with a single block.[1]

Finish with the Enchanternator
The Enchanternator automatically applies enchantments to items. I would leave it until the other machines are working.[1]

How does Mystical Automation work?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.10.0-beta guide
Mystical Automation adds machines that automate different parts of Mystical Agriculture. They all share the same basic setup, so once you understand one you understand most of them.[1][3]
What every machine has in common
- They run off solid fuels and have an internal power storage buffer.[3]
- They can all be upgraded with Machine Upgrades.[3]
- The machines that copy a recipe work the same way: set the recipe, then place items into their designated input slots.[3]
Recipe machines
Several machines automate a crafting-style recipe. The Crafter automatically crafts a recipe with the inputs you give it. Set the recipe using its grid first, then feed the input slots.[1][3]

The Infusion Altarnator and the Awakening Altarnator do the same job for Infusion Altar and Awakening Altar recipes, each with a single block. Set a recipe using the grid, then place items into the input slots.[1][3]

The Enchanternator automatically creates an Enchanter recipe. Its layout is a little different: you set the recipe using the slots above, then place items into their designated input slots below.[1][3]

How do you progress through Mystical Automation?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.10.0-beta guide
Mystical Automation adds a set of crafted machine blocks in this pack. Each one has its own shaped crafting recipe, and the recipe blocks below show the in-pack version, not a mod default.[5]
The blocks
- Crafter[5][6]
- Farmer[5][7]
- Fertilizer[5][8]
- Infuser[5][9]
- Enchanternator[5][10]
- Infusion Altarnator[5][11]
- Awakening Altarnator[5][12]
Each of these blocks drops itself when you break it, so you can pick one up and move it without losing it.[6][7][8][9][10][11][12]
Unverified The sources here do not show a tier order or quest chapter for this mod. The pack's quest book is where any guidance on when to build these machines would be told, and nothing from it is available to confirm one.

Which Mystical Automation config options matter?
2 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2: Aero 1.10.0 guide
Good news: Mystical Automation keeps its config simple. The common config file is Machines.Infuser.enabled and its siblings, one on/off switch per machine, plus one recipe option for the Farmer. Here is how this pack sets them.[13]
Machine toggles
This pack sets the enabled option to true for the Infuser, Crafter, Farmer, Fertilizer, both Altarnators and the Enchanternator.[13]
- Machines.Infuser.enabled is true. The Infuser automatically infuses Essences using Infusion Crystals.[1][13]
- Machines.Crafter.enabled is true. The Crafter automatically crafts regular crafting recipes.[1][13]
- Machines.Farmer.enabled is true. The Farmer grows and harvests crops in a single block.[1][13]
- Machines.Fertilizer.enabled is true. The Fertilizer applies fertilizers like Fertilized Essence or Bone Meal to a field of crops.[1][13]
- [[config:config/mysticalautomation-common.toml#Machines.Infusion Altarnator.enabled]] and [[config:config/mysticalautomation-common.toml#Machines.Awakening Altarnator.enabled]] are both true. These craft Infusion and Awakening Altar recipes with a single block.[1][13]
- Machines.Enchanternator.enabled is true. The Enchanternator automatically applies enchantments to items.[1][13]
Farmer recipes
The one option that goes beyond an on/off switch is Machines.Farmer.dynamicMysticalAgricultureRecipes. It is set to true in this pack, which means recipes are generated dynamically for all Mystical Agriculture crops. If you add or see a crop from Mystical Agriculture, the Farmer should be able to handle it without you doing anything extra.[13]
What changed in Mystical Automation between versions?
1 part
FTB Evolution 2 1.1.0 ships Mystical Automation 2.0.7, built for MC 26.1.2. The mod has been in the pack since FTB Evolution 2 1.0.2 or earlier, so you have had it for a while.[14]
2.0.7 (the version in this pack)
- Fixed the Infuser not resetting its progress when you remove too many items from the processing slot.[15]
That is the only change listed in the mod's 2.0.7 changelog, so there is nothing else from that release to flag for your builds.[15]
Unverified The pack changelogs available here have no entries for Mystical Automation, so which earlier mod versions shipped in which pack releases is not shown by these sources.
