What is Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures)?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Moog's Structure Lib is a library mod for the Moogs Structure series. It provides flexible, data-driven structure generation systems that other mods build on, so it works behind the scenes to support those mods.[1]
What it offers
Mod developers add it as a dependency and use its structure types and placement systems. It includes a complete barn structure example that shows how to use all of its features. The project also links a wiki with step-by-step guides, JSON references, real examples from MoogsVoyagerStructures and troubleshooting tips.[1]
It can also be installed server-side only, and it is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.[1]
In this pack
The pack includes version 3.1.2, the NeoForge 1.21.1 build (MoogsStructureLib-neoforge-1.21.1-3.1.2.jar). It has been part of the pack since version 4.13 or earlier.[2]
How do you get started with Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures)?
1 part
Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures) is a library mod for the Moogs Structure series. It provides flexible, data-driven structure generation systems that other mods build on, so it isn't something you play with directly.[1]
That means there is no crafting order to follow for it. The sources for this guide show no items, recipes or quest steps to start with, so there is nothing to craft first. You can simply leave it installed and let the structure mods that use it do the work.[1]
What you will notice in play
The mod's language file describes structure frequency settings. One covers how common every Moog's structure is, and another covers how common every structure of a given mod is. In both, 2x means about twice as many and 0.5x about half as many.[3]
Unverified Whether the pack's quest book or any config file touches this mod is not shown in the sources here, including the actual frequency values this pack uses. Check the pack's own quest chapters and config files if you want to confirm.
How does Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures) work?
2 parts
This one is a bit different from the usual machine mods, so here is the short version: Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures) has no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation. It is a library mod that provides data-driven structure generation systems for other mods to build on.[1]
You never interact with it directly. Other mods add it as a dependency and use its structure types and placement systems. The project page also says it can be installed server-side only.[1]
Structure frequency
The mod's language file has two config tooltips about how common structures are. One covers every structure of a given mod, and the other covers every Moog's structure. In both, 2x means about twice as many structures and 0.5x means about half as many.[3]
Unverified The sources here do not show the actual frequency settings in this pack. There are no config files for this mod in the pack, so check the config screen in game for the current values.
Structure tags
The mod's jar ships two worldgen structure tags, no_basalt and no_delta. Both list the same large set of structures in the mns namespace, including bridges, arenas, houses, shrines, a mega fortress and a nether tower. Both tags are set to not replace existing entries.[4][5]
The sources here don't show how the game or other mods use these tags, so treat them as data you may run into if you browse the jar.[4][5]
How do you progress through Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures)?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.2 guide
Moog's Structure Lib has no tiers to climb. What the sources show is worldgen data: two structure tags, no_basalt and no_delta, which list exactly the same set of structures. They include bridges, arenas, houses, towers, shrines, skulls, wells and a mega fortress, and many have Nether-style names like blackstone, nether brick, crimson and warped.[6][7]
Both tags are set to add to existing tag contents rather than replace them, so they only append to whatever else is in those tags. What the pack does with them in play is not covered by the sources.[6][7]
Unverified No pack quests, crafting recipes or tier breakdown for this mod could be confirmed from the available sources, so there is no progression path to follow for it here.
What changed in Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures) between versions?
1 part
FTB Evolution 2 1.1.0 ships Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures) 3.4.2. The mod was already in the pack in 1.0.2 or earlier, so 3.4.2 is the version you are playing with.[8]
3.4.2 changelog
The mod's own 3.4.2 changelog lists these fixes:[9]
- Structures now blend into the terrain properly when YUNG's API is installed. Before, either this mod's or YUNG's terrain blending was switched off.[9]
- Parts of structures no longer ignore their own terrain blending settings on Minecraft 1.20 to 1.20.6, such as mineshaft entrances getting boxed in.[9]
- A startup crash with Forge on Minecraft 1.20 to 1.20.4 was fixed.[9]
The one listed change is that Fabric on Minecraft 1.20 to 1.20.4 now needs Fabric Loader 0.14.25 or newer.[9]

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as moogs_structures, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
