What is Infinity Drives?
2 parts
Infinity Drives is a small, simple mod that gives you endless supplies of basic resources. It adds a single block and a few drive items. You place drives into the block's GUI, and the block then holds an infinite amount of that item or fluid.[1]
The mod's project page describes it as adding drives that contain water, lava and cobblestone. That covers a lot of early needs without any farming or pumping.[1]
Version in this pack
This pack ships Infinity Drives 2.0.2, and it has been in the pack since version 1.0.2 or earlier.[2]
Hooking it up to other mods
- With AE2, connect the block using a Storage Bus. The contents display as max integer and the items are never used up.[1]
- With Refined Storage, connect it through an External Storage. It also displays as max integer and the items are never used up.[1]
- It should also work with most mods that use ItemHandlers and FluidHandlers, such as BBL Routers.[1]
How do you get started with Infinity Drives?
4 parts
Infinity Drives is a small mod with a simple idea: one block and a handful of drive items. You put a drive into the block's GUI, and the block then holds an unlimited amount of that item or fluid. The steps below go in the order you will want to make things.[1][3]
First: the Infinity Storage Drive Block
Start with the Infinity Storage Drive Block. It is the only block the mod adds. Its tooltip says that when it is filled with an Infinity Drive, it provides an unlimited amount of that resource. The recipe is the mod's own, and the pack has not changed it.[1][3][4]

The block that holds your drives. This is the mod's recipe, unchanged by the pack.
Next: the Empty Infinity Drive
Then comes the Empty Infinity Drive. This one is also a mod recipe that the pack leaves alone.[4]

Then: pick a drive for your first resource
The filled drives are what give the block its endless supply. The pack has changed the recipes for the cobblestone, stone and water drives, so check the recipe blocks below and don't rely on what you remember from other packs or the mod's defaults.[4]
- Infinity Cobblestone Drive: an endless supply of cobblestone.[1][4]
- Infinity Stone Drive: an endless supply of stone.[3][4]
- Infinity Water Drive: an endless supply of water.[1][4]

Finally: put the drive in the block
- Place the Infinity Storage Drive Block in the world.[1]
- Open its GUI and put a drive in. The block now holds an infinite amount of that item or fluid.[1]
- Connect it to whatever needs the resource. The project page says it should work with most mods that use item handlers and fluid handlers.[1]
How does Infinity Drives work?
3 parts
Infinity Drives keeps things simple: one block and a handful of drive items. You craft the Infinity Storage Drive Block, put a drive into its GUI, and the block then holds an infinite amount of that item or fluid.[1][3]
The block's own tooltip says the same thing: once it is filled with an Infinity Drive, it provides an unlimited amount of that resource.[3]
The block
The Infinity Storage Drive Block is the only block in Infinity Drives. It has its own recipe, and that recipe is the mod's own, not changed by the pack.[1][4]

Recipe id: infinitystorage:infinity_storage_drive
The block uses the mod's own recipe in this pack.
When you break the block, its loot table drops the block itself, and the drop is subject to the explosion survival check. The sources here do not say what happens to drives inside it when it is broken.[5]
The drives
The drive you place in the block's GUI decides what the block supplies. This pack has recipes for these drive items: the Empty Infinity Drive, the Infinity Cobblestone Drive, the Infinity Stone Drive and the Infinity Water Drive.[1][4]

The mod's language file also names Infinity Dirt, Gravel, Lava and Sand drives. The pack's recipe dump shows no recipes for them, so the sources here do not confirm how you would get one in this pack.[3][4]
Automation and compatibility
The block works with other mods through standard item and fluid handling. The mod page says it should support most mods that use ItemHandlers and FluidHandlers, and gives BBL Routers as an example.[1]
The mod page also describes how storage networks see it. An AE2 Storage Bus, or a Refined Storage External Storage, connected to the block will display the contents as the max integer, and the items will never be used up.[1]
How do you progress through Infinity Drives?
4 parts
Infinity Drives adds these craftable items in this pack: the Empty Infinity Drive, the Infinity Cobblestone Drive, the Infinity Stone Drive, the Infinity Water Drive and the Infinity Storage Drive Block. Every recipe below is shown exactly as it works in this pack.[4]
Which recipes the pack changed
The pack changes the recipes for the cobblestone drive, the stone drive and the water drive. If you have seen a guide for the mod on its own, don't trust its recipes for those drives. Use the ones shown on this page.[4]
The empty drive and the storage drive block use the mod's own recipes, unchanged by the pack.[4]

When you break an Infinity Storage Drive Block, it drops itself, so you can pick it up and move it.[5]
Unverified The sources here do not show any quest that involves Infinity Drives, so this page does not give a quest-driven order for the drives.
What changed in Infinity Drives between versions?
Infinity Drives is in FTB Evolution 2 1.2.1 as version 2.0.2. It was first included in FTB Evolution 2 1.0.2 or earlier, so it has been part of the pack for a while.[2]
The only changelog entry the sources show is for 2.0.2: unused KubeJS files were removed. That is a cleanup, nothing you will notice while playing.[6]
The sources here do not include any pack changelog entries for this mod, so there is nothing more to report on changes across the pack's releases.[2]
