What is Mystical Agradditions?

2 parts

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. It extends the farming system with higher-end content, so it's aimed at players who already have Mystical Agriculture running and want to push into the top tier of resource crops.[1]

The mod's project page lists these features:[1]

  • Tier 6 essence, called Insanium.[1]
  • Tier 6 crops for high-tier materials, including Nether Stars, Awakened Draconium and Neutronium.[1]
  • Paxels, which combine a pickaxe, axe and shovel in one tool.[1]
  • Tinkers' Construct integration.[1]
  • Essence Coal, which can cook more items than regular coal.[1]

Which resource crops?

The project page names these crops: Nether Star and Dragon Egg from vanilla, Gaia Spirit from Botania, Awakened Draconium from Draconic Evolution, Neutronium from Avaritia, and Nitro Crystal from Powah. That list is marked as last updated for version 7.0.2, so treat it as a guide only.[1]

Watch out: The pack ships a newer build, version 9.0.3, than the one that list was written for. The crops and recipes in your world may differ from the project page, so check in game before you plan a farm around a specific crop.[1][2]

In this pack

This pack includes Mystical Agradditions 9.0.3, and it has been in the pack since this version or earlier.[2]

Unverified Where the mod fits in the pack's progression could not be confirmed from the available sources, and no guidebook, quest or ATM Star path information was found for it.

How do you get started with Mystical Agradditions?

4 parts

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. It brings in Insanium, a tier 6 essence, along with tier 6 crops, paxels, Tinkers' Construct support and essence coal. Here are the first things worth making and why.[1]

Step one: essence coal for better smelting

Essence coal can cook more items than regular coal, so it makes a good first upgrade for your furnaces. Each essence type has its own coal, for example Inferium Coal, and a matching storage block, such as Inferium Coal Block. The pack also has uncraft recipes that turn a coal block back into coal.[1][3]

The pack has the same kind of recipe for the other essence coals.

Next: a paxel to replace several tools

A paxel combines a pickaxe, an axe and a shovel in one tool, so you carry a single item instead of separate ones. The pack has crafting recipes for several paxels, such as the Inferium Paxel.[1][3]

The Awakened Supremium Paxel is not made at a crafting table. Its recipe uses the awakening recipe type from Mystical Agriculture.[3]

    Then: Insanium essence and farmland

Insanium is the tier 6 essence this mod adds, so Insanium Essence is the material to aim for. The pack gives you a few ways to get it: a crafting recipe, a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that outputs it together with wax, and an uncraft recipe from an Insanium Block.[1][3]

For growing, you can make Insanium Farmland by crafting it, or through a separate farmland tilling recipe from Mystical Agriculture.[3]

    A pack-specific extra

The pack adds its own custom recipe for Creative Essence. It comes from the pack, not from the mod, so check the recipe below rather than the mod's own behavior.[3]

    How does Mystical Agradditions work?

    5 parts

Here's the honest picture first: Mystical Agradditions is an add-on to Mystical Agriculture, and the material available for this pack describes it as new crops, new essence tiers and new tools rather than as machines or multiblocks. So this section covers the systems the sources actually back up.[1]

Unverified Whether the mod adds any machines, multiblock structures, power or fluid transport, or item automation features is not covered by the available sources. There is no in-jar guidebook, no reusable official documentation, and no config files for this mod in the pack, so treat anything beyond what is below as unconfirmed.

    Tier 6 crops and essence

The headline feature is tier 6 essence, Insanium. The mod adds tier 6 crops for high-tier materials, including Nether Stars, Awakened Draconium, Neutronium, Dragon Egg, Gaia Spirit and Nitro Crystal.[1]

The pack lets you craft these items: Nether Star Shard, Dragon Egg Chunk, Nether Star Crux, Dragon Egg Crux and Nitro Crystal Crux. Here are the exact in-pack recipes for some of them.[3]

    Compressing and uncrafting Insanium

Insanium comes in several forms: Insanium Ingot, Insanium Nugget, Insanium Gemstone and the matching blocks. The pack has recipes to compress them into blocks and to uncraft them back, so you can store them compactly and still get the smaller items out.[3]

    Essence Coal

Essence Coal is a fuel that can cook more items than regular coal. The pack has Inferium Coal, Prudentium Coal, Imperium Coal and Insanium Coal, and each one also comes as a block, such as Insanium Coal Block. The recipes below show the Insanium version.[1][3]

    Paxels and modifiers

Paxels combine the functions of a pickaxe, axe and shovel in one tool. The pack includes Inferium Paxel, Prudentium Paxel and Imperium Paxel, and the mod's language file also lists an Awakened Supremium Paxel.[1][3][4]

The mod also adds some modifiers. Prosperous gives tools and weapons a chance to drop Prosperity Shards. Soul Siphoner makes weapons siphon Mob Souls like a Soulium Dagger.[4]

Boss drops and the molten fluid

The Ender Dragon drops a Dragon Scale on death, and the Wither drops a Withering Soul on death.[4]

The mod also includes a Molten Awakened Supremium fluid with its own bucket, plus a Molten Supremium Bucket. How these fluids are made and used is not explained in the available sources.[4]

How do you progress through Mystical Agradditions?

    4 parts

The recipe data for this pack shows the shape of the progression, but not its exact costs. The dump lists each recipe's output and type and leaves the ingredient lists empty. So this section shows you which items exist at each tier and how they are crafted, and the recipe blocks below show the exact in-pack recipes.[3]

    The tier families

Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium share the same item set: an apple, a coal, a coal block and a paxel. At the Inferium tier that means Inferium Apple, Inferium Coal, Inferium Coal Block and Inferium Paxel. Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium follow the same naming pattern.[3]

Each coal is a shapeless recipe, and each coal block is a shaped recipe. Every coal block also has an uncraft recipe that turns it back into coal. The apples and paxels are shaped recipes.[3]

    Awakening (mysticalagriculture)

      Recipe id: mysticalagradditions:awakened_supremium_paxel

The top paxel uses an awakening recipe instead of a crafting grid.

The sources do not state a ranking between these tiers, so check the recipe viewer to see which items feed into the next one.[3]

      Insanium

Insanium has its own material line: Insanium Essence, Insanium Ingot, Insanium Nugget and Insanium Gemstone. It also has blocks of the ingot and gemstone, plus Insanium Apple and Insanium Coal. Several of these have matching uncraft recipes, so you can compress and decompress them.[3]

Insanium Farmland can be made with a shapeless crafting recipe, or with a farmland tilling recipe.[3]

      Farmland Till (mysticalagriculture)

Insanium Essence has a shaped crafting recipe. It can also come from uncrafting an Insanium Block, or from a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe on the insanium honeycomb. That centrifuge recipe also gives wax.[3]

        Cruxes and star materials

The mod also has crafted cruxes: Nether Star Crux, Dragon Egg Crux and Nitro Crystal Crux. Related materials are crafted too: Nether Star Shard and Dragon Egg Chunk.[3]

You can also get Nether Star Shard from a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe on the starry honeycomb. It comes out alongside an ATM Star Shard.[3]

        Creative Essence

This pack adds its own shaped recipe for Creative Essence. It is a pack change and not a mod default, so check it in the recipe viewer before you plan around it.[3]

How does Mystical Agradditions work with other mods?

        1 part

The only connection between this mod and another mod that the pack's recipes confirm is with Productive Bees. Its centrifuge has recipes that output items from Mystical Agradditions.[3]

        Productive Bees centrifuge

The first centrifuge recipe gives you an ATM Star Shard and a Nether Star Shard together. Here it is as the pack has it:[3]

        Centrifuge (productivebees)

          Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/atm/honeycomb_starry

The second recipe gives you Insanium Essence and Wax. Insanium is the mod's tier 6 essence, so this is a way to get it from the centrifuge as well as from crops.[1][3]

          Centrifuge (productivebees)

            Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/mysticalagriculture/honeycomb_insanium

Tip: The recipe dump lists no item inputs for either centrifuge recipe, so use the recipe blocks above to see exactly what each one needs.[3]

What changed in Mystical Agradditions between versions?

All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta ships Mystical Agradditions 9.0.3. The mod has been in the pack since 0.0.19 or earlier. Here are the notable changes from the mod's own changelogs for its 9.0.0 to 9.0.3 releases, newest first.[2]

            • 9.0.3: Insanium Farmland was added to the #minecraft:grows_crops tag.[5]
            • 9.0.2: The fr_fr translations were updated.[6]
            • 9.0.1: The Infused Farmland block now uses standard loot tables for its drops.[7]
            • 9.0.0: The mod was updated to Minecraft 26.1, and the Molten Prosperity, Molten Awakened Supremium and Molten Insanium fluids were added.[8]

Each of these releases is listed for MC 26.1.2, which is the build the pack includes.[2][5][6][7][8]
