What is IntegratedCrafting?
Same as in the All the Mods - Gravitas 4.0 guide
IntegratedCrafting is included in the pack at version 1.1.4. The file is IntegratedCrafting-1.18.2-1.1.4.jar, which means it is built for Minecraft 1.18.2.[1]
The pack's mod list is the only source I have for this mod, and it only confirms the version and file name. It doesn't say when the mod was added to the pack, beyond that it was there in this version or earlier.[1]
Unverified What the mod does, who it is for, and where it fits in the pack's progression are not confirmed by the available sources. There is no platform description or in-jar guidebook for this mod. No quests in the pack involve it, and it is not on the ATM Star quest path, so no progression gating is documented.
How do you get started with IntegratedCrafting?
5 parts
IntegratedCrafting lets you craft stuff in Integrated Dynamics networks. Two items get you going, and a third one comes later once you've progressed further. Here's the order I'd go in.[2]
First, make the Crafting Interface
Start with the Part Interface Crafting. It tells the network where and how things can be crafted. You point it at a machine, like a Crafting Table or a Furnace, and it gets bound to that machine to handle recipes.[2][3]

Once it's placed, open its GUI and insert Variable Cards that hold recipes. That tells the interface that those recipes can be crafted with the bound machine.[2]
Next, make the Crafting Writer
Then comes the Part Crafting Writer. The mod's own advancements use it to start a crafting job, with Oak Planks as the example.[2][3]

A simple first test
- Craft a Crafting Interface and bind it to a machine, such as a Crafting Table.[2]
- Insert the manually created recipe for Oak Planks into the Crafting Interface.[2]
- Craft a Crafting Writer and use it to start a crafting job for Oak Planks.[2]
Settings worth knowing early
Like most Integrated Dynamics parts, the Crafting Interface lets you configure the channel, priority and tick rate. You can also change the target side separately for each ingredient type. That helps when a machine takes items from the sides but fluids from the top.[2]
Blocking mode is enabled by default. The machine then only accepts one recipe at a time and starts the next one once the previous one has completed. If a machine can process several inputs in parallel, you can turn blocking mode off in the settings GUI.[2]
Later: the Attuned Crafting Interface
Further into the game you can make the Part Interface Crafting Attuned. You don't have to add recipes by hand, because it reads and exposes all the recipes the target machine has. Some modded machines may not be supported, and you'll see a red border when you place it on one.[2][3]

How does IntegratedCrafting work?
10 parts
IntegratedCrafting adds autocrafting to your Integrated Dynamics networks. The idea is simple: you tell the network where and how things can be crafted, then ask it to start a job. Here is how the pieces fit together.[2]
The three parts
- Part Interface Crafting (the Crafting Interface) tells the network where and how things can be crafted. You point it at a machine, such as a Crafting Table or Furnace, and it becomes bound to that machine.[2][3]
- Part Interface Crafting Attuned (the Attuned Crafting Interface) is the later-game version. You don't add recipes by hand, because it currently reads and exposes every recipe the target machine has. These are the same recipes the Machine Reader lists.[2][3]
- Part Crafting Writer (the Crafting Writer) is what you can currently use to start a crafting job, for example.[2][3]
Teaching the interface recipes
With the normal Crafting Interface, you open its GUI and insert Variable Cards that hold recipes. That tells the interface the recipe can be crafted using the bound machine. Because Variable Cards are dynamic, a recipe can even change depending on things like day or night, or whether a certain item is in the network. The interface detects the update automatically and all new jobs use the new recipe, but jobs that are already running keep the old one.[2]
The Attuned version may not work with every modded machine. If a machine isn't supported, you'll see a red border when you place the Attuned Crafting Interface.[2]
Choosing which recipes the Attuned interface exposes
Since the Attuned Crafting Interface exposes all recipes of its machine, it can hand the network far more than you want. A Crafting Table alone accounts for hundreds. Its GUI shows each recipe of the bound machine as an output icon, and you decide which ones the network may use.[2]
- In the Attuned interface's GUI, a recipe with a green border is currently exposed to the network. Click it and it gets a red border and is greyed out, so no new crafting job uses it. Click again to bring it back.[2]
- Hovering over a recipe in that GUI currently shows its output, its recipe name and the ingredients it needs.[2]
- To change many recipes at once in that GUI, hold your mouse button and drag across them. The recipe you start on decides whether the drag enables or disables.[2]
- The search field matches recipe names, mod names and recipe ids. The Enable, Disable and Invert buttons apply to whatever the search currently matches. Searching for minecraft: and pressing Disable hides every vanilla recipe in one go.[2]
How a crafting job runs
When a job starts, for example from the Crafting Writer, one or more Crafting Interfaces with a matching recipe are used. All the ingredients the recipes need are pulled from the network and held inside the jobs in those interfaces, so nothing else can use them before the job finishes. The interface then inserts the inputs into the bound machine, based on the storage network contents provided by Integrated Tunnels interfaces.[2]
The Crafting Table is the one exception to that rule. For it, you only need a Crafting Interface.[2]
Interface settings
Like most Integrated Dynamics parts, the Crafting Interface lets you configure the channel, priority and tick rate. You can also set the target side separately for each ingredient type. That helps when a machine takes items from the sides but fluids from the top.[2]
Blocking mode is on by default. The machine then accepts only one recipe at a time and starts the next one only after the previous one completes. For machines that process several inputs in parallel, you can turn blocking mode off in the interface's settings GUI. Then, for a multi-amount job, as many inputs as possible are processed by the machine.[2]
Spreading a job over several machines
With slow machines, you can distribute one crafting job over multiple Crafting Interfaces. For example, you can split the crafting of 40 iron ingots evenly over 10 furnaces. The only requirement is that every machine you want to use has a Crafting Interface exposing at least exactly the recipe you are distributing. In the furnace example, all 10 furnaces need an interface containing the iron ingot smelting recipe.[2]
Starting jobs with the Crafting Writer
The Crafting Writer currently has write aspects that let you craft a given item, a given fluid, a given recipe, or a given energy amount. There is also a craft delay value, which makes the writer craft only if an ingredient has been missing from storage for that duration.[2]
Debugging
If a job doesn't work, check the crafting aspects of the Network Reader. They can list all available recipes in the network, all running crafting jobs, and all ingredients being crafted. Showing these lists on Display Panels can help you pinpoint the problem. If you have Integrated Terminals installed, the Crafting Job Terminal can show running jobs, show missing ingredients and cancel jobs.[2]
This pack's settings
These values come from the pack's IntegratedCrafting common config. The interface values are base energy usage per crafting job being processed.[4]
- general.general.craftingWriterBaseConsumption is 1, the base energy usage of the Crafting Writer.[4]
- general.general.interfaceCraftingBaseConsumption is 5, the base energy usage of the Crafting Interface per job being processed.[4]
- general.general.interfaceCraftingAttunedBaseConsumption is 10, the same for the Attuned Crafting Interface.[4]
- machine.general.maxPendingCraftingJobs is 256, the maximum number of jobs one interface can have scheduled without being started.[4]
- machine.general.minCraftingInterfaceUpdateFreq is 1, the minimal update frequency in ticks for crafting interfaces.[4]
- machine.general.validateRecipesCraftingInterface is true, so the interface validates recipes on insertion.[4]
- machine.general.logRecipeValidationFailures is true, so recipe validation failures in crafting interfaces are written to the server logs.[4]

How do you progress through IntegratedCrafting?
1 part
The pack gives IntegratedCrafting these items their own shaped crafting recipes: Part Crafting Writer, Part Interface Crafting and Part Interface Crafting Attuned. Those are the only IntegratedCrafting recipes the pack data shows.[3]

Use the recipe blocks above for the exact in-pack crafting of each part. The pack data here does not rank these items into tiers, so there is no tier order to follow for this mod.[3]
Which IntegratedCrafting config options matter?
2 parts
IntegratedCrafting is configured in config/integratedcrafting-common.toml. The options cover how much energy the crafting blocks use, and how crafting interfaces handle jobs and recipes. Here is exactly how this pack sets them.[4]
Energy use
- general.general.craftingWriterBaseConsumption is set to 1. This is the base energy usage of the crafting writer.[4]
- general.general.interfaceCraftingBaseConsumption is set to 5. This is the base energy usage of the crafting interface for each crafting job it is processing.[4]
- general.general.interfaceCraftingAttunedBaseConsumption is set to 10. This is the same idea for the attuned crafting interface, again per crafting job being processed.[4]
Because the interface costs are counted per crafting job being processed, plan your energy supply around how many jobs you expect to run at once.[4]
Crafting jobs and recipe checks
- machine.general.maxPendingCraftingJobs is 256. This is the maximum number of crafting jobs that can be scheduled in a single crafting interface without having been started.[4]
- machine.general.minCraftingInterfaceUpdateFreq is 1. This is the minimal update frequency, in ticks, used for crafting interfaces.[4]
- machine.general.validateRecipesCraftingInterface is true, so the crafting interface validates recipes when they are inserted.[4]
- machine.general.logRecipeValidationFailures is true, so recipe validation failures in crafting interfaces are written to the server logs.[4]
