What is BBL Routers?
3 parts
BBL Routers is a fully wireless transportation mod for items, fluids and energy. Instead of running pipes or conduits across your base, you link inventories together and let the mod move things between them.[1]
The three pieces
- Importer: attaches to the inventory you want to insert into.[1]
- Exporter: connects to the inventory you want to extract from.[1]
- Router Connector: the tool that links Importers to Exporters.[1]
Both Exporters and Importers can be filtered for item stacks and for fluid stacks. Filters also support dragging from JEI, so you can set them without hunting through your inventory.[1]
The mod also lists support for Mekanism gases and Ars Source, plus other integrations it doesn't name. That makes it a handy way to link machines from different mods without building a separate transport setup for each one.[1]
Who it's for
If you want to move resources around your world without laying pipes, this mod is for you. It suits players who want to connect storage and machines wirelessly, with filters controlling what moves.[1]
In this pack
The pack includes BBL Routers version 2.7.4.[2]
Unverified The sources I have don't show where BBL Routers fits in this pack's progression, and they don't show any Star path or quest involvement for it. Treat it as an optional logistics tool you can pick up whenever it suits your base.
How do you get started with BBL Routers?
6 parts
BBL Routers moves items, fluids and energy wirelessly between inventories. Everything starts with an Importer, an Exporter and a Connector. Here is what to make first and why.[1]
Every item below has a shaped crafting recipe in this pack, and the recipe blocks show the exact in-pack ingredients.[3]
Step one: the Importer
The Importer attaches to the inventory you want to insert into. It receives resources from connected Exporters.[1][4]

Step two: the Exporter
The Exporter connects to the inventory you want to extract from, and it sends those resources to an Importer. It extracts on a timer measured in ticks.[1][4]

Step four: an Item Upgrade
The Item Upgrade I allows the extraction of items from an Exporter, with the amount per operation shown in its tooltip. It comes in four tiers, up to Item Upgrade IV.[3][4]

Fluids and energy follow the same pattern with the Fluid Upgrade I and Energy Upgrade I lines. Each has four tiers, and the tooltips show the amount per operation.[3][4]
Speed and filtering
Once things are flowing, the Speed Upgrade I line sets how many ticks pass between extractions. It goes up to Speed Upgrade IV.[3][4]

Exporters and Importers can be filtered for items and fluids, and you can drag entries in from JEI. These upgrades change how filtering behaves:[1]
- Blacklist Upgrade turns the filter into a blacklist, and it affects all resource types that can be filtered.[3][4]
- Ignore NBT/Components Upgrade ignores NBT/data when filtering.[3][4]
- Mod Filter Upgrade and Tag Filter Upgrade let you set a mod or a tag as a filter.[3][4]
- Stock Filter Upgrade is used in Importers to only allow up to the amount and item you set.[3][4]
Later additions
- Round Robin Upgrade: after each operation, the Exporter tries to insert into the next connected Importer.[3][4]
- Dimensional Upgrade: lets the Exporter send resources to an Importer in a different dimension.[3][4]
- Distributor (BETA) (marked BETA): distributes energy from itself to other energy receiving blocks in the area.[3][4]
How does BBL Routers work?
6 parts
BBL Routers moves items, fluids and energy wirelessly. You don't run pipes or cables. Instead, you place a block on each inventory and link the blocks together. The core work is done by the Exporter, the Importer and the Connector.[1]
Exporters, Importers and the Connector
The Exporter connects to an inventory you want to pull from. It exports resources from that block to an Importer, and it extracts on a fixed tick interval.[1][4]
The Importer attaches to the inventory you want to insert into. It receives resources from the Exporters connected to it.[1][4]
The Connector is what links them. Its tooltip gives these actions:[1][3][4]
- Shift Right Click with the Connector to set the Exporter or Importer target.[4]
- Right Click to connect to that target.[4]

Upgrades that set what an Exporter can move
Each resource type has its own upgrade line, and each line has four tiers (I to IV). The upgrades let an Exporter extract that resource at a set amount per operation.[3][4]
- Items: Item Upgrade I, Item Upgrade II, Item Upgrade III and Item Upgrade IV allow extracting items per operation.[3][4]
- Fluids: Fluid Upgrade I, Fluid Upgrade II, Fluid Upgrade III and Fluid Upgrade IV allow extracting fluids, with the amount measured in mB per operation.[3][4]
- Energy: Energy Upgrade I, Energy Upgrade II, Energy Upgrade III and Energy Upgrade IV allow extracting energy, with the amount measured in RF per operation.[3][4]
The four Speed Upgrades, Speed Upgrade I through Speed Upgrade IV, change how often extraction happens. Their tooltip says they allow extracting every set number of ticks.[3][4]
Routing between several targets
- Round Robin Upgrade: after each operation, the Exporter tries to insert into the next connected Importer. Use it when one Exporter feeds several Importers.[3][4]
- Dimensional Upgrade: lets the Exporter send resources to an Importer in a different dimension.[3][4]
Filtering
Exporters and Importers can be filtered for both item stacks and fluid stacks. You can drag entries into the filter slots from JEI.[1]
- Blacklist Upgrade turns the filtering into a blacklist. It affects every resource type that can be filtered.[3][4]
- Ignore NBT/Components Upgrade makes filtering ignore NBT/Data. It also affects every filterable resource type.[3][4]
- Mod Filter Upgrade sets a whole mod as the filter.[3][4]
- Tag Filter Upgrade sets a tag as the filter.[3][4]
- Stock Filter Upgrade is used in Importers. It only allows items up to the amount and item you set inside it, so an inventory fills to a target level and then stops accepting.[3][4]
Distributor (BETA)
The Distributor (BETA) is labelled BETA. It distributes energy from itself to other energy-receiving blocks in the area. The sources don't give its range, transfer rate or any other limits.[3][4]

Integration and pack notes
The mod lists support for Mekanism gases and Ars Source, among others.[1]
The pack's recipe dump shows a recipe for every item mentioned here, and the site renders the exact in-pack versions. No config files for this mod appear in the sources, so I can't confirm any tuned values in this pack beyond what the in-game tooltips show.[3]
How do you progress through BBL Routers?
3 parts
The pack adds every BBL Routers item as a regular crafting-table recipe, so there's no machine or multiblock gate on this mod. The recipes below are the in-pack versions, and the site renders the exact layout for each one.[3]
The core parts
Your starting set is made of the transfer blocks: the Importer, the Exporter, the Distributor (BETA) (which is labelled BETA) and the Connector. The in-pack recipes for them are shown below.[3]

Tiered upgrades
Four upgrade lines come in four tiers each, I through IV, and every tier has its own recipe:[3]
- Item transfer: Item Upgrade I, Item Upgrade II, Item Upgrade III and Item Upgrade IV.[3]
- Fluid transfer: Fluid Upgrade I, Fluid Upgrade II, Fluid Upgrade III and Fluid Upgrade IV.[3]
- Energy transfer: Energy Upgrade I, Energy Upgrade II, Energy Upgrade III and Energy Upgrade IV.[3]
- Speed: Speed Upgrade I, Speed Upgrade II, Speed Upgrade III and Speed Upgrade IV.[3]
Here is the first speed tier as an example of how the in-pack recipes look. The other tiers each have their own entry in the recipe viewer.[3]

Unverified The sources don't show any quest tied to this mod, how the tiers are meant to be ordered against other mods' progression, or which materials each tier needs. Check the recipe entries in-game for the exact ingredients, and don't assume a quest unlocks them. This site does hold All the Mods 11's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
What changed in BBL Routers between versions?
3 parts
All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta ships BBL Routers 2.7.4, and the mod has been in the pack since All the Mods 11 0.0.11 or earlier. The pack changelogs have no entries for this mod, so everything below comes from the mod's own changelogs.[2]
Filters, polish and fixes
- 2.7.4: when you hold a wrench with a saved exporter or importer position, that position is highlighted in the world. Routers connected to those positions also get a red or blue outline.[5]
- 2.7.3: exporters now drop their stored upgrades when broken, and shift-clicking into an exporter no longer freezes the game.[6]
- 2.7.2: the Blacklist, Dimensional and Ignore NBT upgrades got new textures. In the Stock Upgrade you can now search by the real item name (Iron Ingot rather than iron_ingot). The Stock, Mod and Tag filters autofocus the search box when opened, and they are no longer marked as BETA.[7]
- 2.7.1: fixed a crash in the TransferEngine when the tick is too fast in some cases. Visual connections now refresh after 100 ticks for removals, while additions should still show instantly.[8]
- 2.7.0: added the Mod Filter, Tag Filter and Stock Filter, each with its own recipe. The Mod Filter limits an importer or exporter to items from one mod, and the Tag Filter limits it to items with a specific tag. The Stock Filter goes in an importer and only allows importing items up to a certain amount. They are set up through a new Config Screen, and were used in item filters only at that point.[9]
The Transfer Update
Version 2.5.0 reworked how transfers work. The logic moved into a TransferEngine class, and item, fluid and energy transfers all go through the new system. Other mods can now register their own transfers, buttons and menus without touching the main mod code, which is great for compatibility. It also fixed the Blacklist upgrade having the wrong texture. Version 2.5.3 then added some aliases for the importer and exporter.[10][11][12]
2.4.1: recipe fixes
Version 2.4.1 fixed the importer and exporter sharing the same recipe, and changed the recipes for the importer, exporter and distributor. If you remember older recipes for these, check the in-game recipe viewer, as they are different now.[13]
