What is BBL Routers?
2 parts
BBL Routers is a wireless transport mod. It moves items, fluids and energy between inventories in your world without any pipes or cables between them.[1]
The three pieces
- The Importer attaches to the inventory you want to insert into.[1]
- The Exporter connects to the inventory you want to extract from.[1]
- The Router Connector links Importers to Exporters, and that link is what makes the transfer wireless.[1]
Both Exporters and Importers can be filtered for item stacks and for fluid stacks. Filters support dragging from JEI, so you don't have to hunt through menus to set them up.[1]
The mod also has integration with Mekanism gases and Ars Source, among others.[1]
In this pack
This pack ships BBL Routers 2.10.0, and the mod has been in the pack since version 0.0.11 or earlier.[2]
How do you get started with BBL Routers?
6 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide
BBL Routers moves items, fluids and energy wirelessly between inventories. Everything starts with an Importer, an Exporter and a Connector. Here is what to make first and why.[1]
Every item below has a shaped crafting recipe in this pack, and the recipe blocks show the exact in-pack ingredients.[3]
Step one: the Importer
The Importer attaches to the inventory you want to insert into. It receives resources from connected Exporters.[1][4]

Step two: the Exporter
The Exporter connects to the inventory you want to extract from, and it sends those resources to an Importer. It extracts on a timer measured in ticks.[1][4]

Step three: the Connector
The Connector links Importers to Exporters. Shift Right Click to set the Exporter or Importer target, then Right Click to connect to that target.[1][4]

Step four: an Item Upgrade
The Item Upgrade I allows the extraction of items from an Exporter, with the amount per operation shown in its tooltip. It comes in four tiers, up to Item Upgrade IV.[3][4]

Fluids and energy follow the same pattern with the Fluid Upgrade I and Energy Upgrade I lines. Each has four tiers, and the tooltips show the amount per operation.[3][4]
Speed and filtering
Once things are flowing, the Speed Upgrade I line sets how many ticks pass between extractions. It goes up to Speed Upgrade IV.[3][4]

Exporters and Importers can be filtered for items and fluids, and you can drag entries in from JEI. These upgrades change how filtering behaves:[1]
- Blacklist Upgrade turns the filter into a blacklist, and it affects all resource types that can be filtered.[3][4]
- Ignore NBT/Components Upgrade ignores NBT/data when filtering.[3][4]
- Mod Filter Upgrade and Tag Filter Upgrade let you set a mod or a tag as a filter.[3][4]
- Stock Filter Upgrade is used in Importers to only allow up to the amount and item you set.[3][4]
Later additions
- Round Robin Upgrade: after each operation, the Exporter tries to insert into the next connected Importer.[3][4]
- Dimensional Upgrade: lets the Exporter send resources to an Importer in a different dimension.[3][4]
- Distributor (BETA) (marked BETA): distributes energy from itself to other energy receiving blocks in the area.[3][4]
How does BBL Routers work?
7 parts
BBL Routers moves items, fluids and energy wirelessly between inventories, and the whole system is built from three pieces. You put an Importer on the inventory you want to insert into, an Exporter on the inventory you want to pull from, and then link them with the Connector. The sources here do not describe any multiblocks or machine GUIs beyond that.[1]
Linking Exporters and Importers
The Connector does the linking. Shift right click on an Exporter or Importer to set it as the target, then right click on the other one to connect to it. The game tells you when it works, with a message saying the Exporter was connected to the Importer at a position, and another when an Exporter is unlinked from an Importer.[5]
If you try to connect without a target selected, you get a reminder to shift right click to set the main connection. Both ends also need to be loaded: the mod shows an "Area not loaded to connect routers!" message otherwise.[5]

What an Exporter moves
An Exporter takes resources from the block it is connected to and sends them to an Importer. It extracts on a timer, and its tooltip shows how many ticks that is. The Exporter only handles a resource type once you give it the matching upgrade.[5]
- Item Upgrades (I to V) let the Exporter extract items. The tooltip shows how many items per operation.[5][7]
- Fluid Upgrades (I to V) let it extract fluids. The tooltip shows the amount in mb per operation.[5][8]
- Energy Upgrades (I to V) let it extract energy. The tooltip shows the amount in RF per operation.[5][9]
- Speed Upgrades (I to IV) let the Exporter extract more often. The tooltip shows the tick interval.[5][10]
The Item, Fluid and Energy upgrades are the tiered ones, so the higher numerals are the ones to reach for when you want more per operation. The exact numbers for each tier appear in the item tooltips in-game.[5][7][8][9]
Upgrades that change the routing
- Dimensional Upgrade allows the Exporter to send resources to an Importer in a different dimension.[5][11]
- Round Robin Upgrade makes the Exporter try to insert into the next connected Importer after each operation, so one Exporter can feed several Importers in turn.[5][12]
Filtering
Exporters and Importers can both be filtered for item stacks and fluid stacks, and you can drag stacks in from JEI. In the config menu, the item, fluid and energy filter buttons show a note when no connected Exporter has the matching upgrade yet, but you can still set the filter.[1][5]
- Tag Filter Upgrade is used to set a tag as a filter.[5]
- Mod Filter Upgrade is used to set a whole mod as a filter.[5]
- Stock Filter Upgrade is used in Importers to only allow up to the item and amount set inside it.[5]
- Blacklist Upgrade flips the filtering into a blacklist, and affects all resource types that can be filtered.[5]
- Ignore NBT/Components Upgrade makes filtering ignore NBT/data, again for all resource types that can be filtered.[5]
Which upgrades go where
The mod's upgrade tags split the upgrades by block. The Exporter accepts the Item, Fluid, Energy, Speed, Dimensional and Round Robin upgrades, plus the Blacklist and Ignore NBT/Components upgrades.[13]
The Importer accepts only the Round Robin, Blacklist and Ignore NBT/Components upgrades. All transport upgrades therefore go on the Exporter side.[14]
The Distributor
The Distributor (BETA) is marked BETA in its name. It distributes energy from itself to other energy receiving blocks in the area. The sources here do not give its range or transfer rate.[5]

Integration
The mod lists support for Mekanism gases and Ars Source, among others.[1]
How do you progress through BBL Routers?
4 parts
BBL Routers doesn't have a single linear tier ladder. It has a few upgrade lines, and each line steps up through numbered levels. You pick the lines you need and work up the numbers as you go.[7][10]
The tiered upgrade lines
- Item upgrades: Item Upgrade I up to Item Upgrade V, five levels in total.[7]
- Fluid upgrades: Fluid Upgrade I up to Fluid Upgrade V, five levels in total.[8]
- Energy upgrades: Energy Upgrade I up to Energy Upgrade V, five levels in total.[9]
- Speed upgrades: Speed Upgrade I up to Speed Upgrade IV. This line stops at four levels, one fewer than the others.[10]
Single-level upgrades
Some upgrades have no levels at all: Dimensional Upgrade, Round Robin Upgrade, Blacklist Upgrade and Ignore NBT/Components Upgrade. The mod also has Mod Filter Upgrade, Tag Filter Upgrade and Stock Filter Upgrade.[6][11][12][13]
What goes into which router
The mod's tags decide which upgrades fit where. The Exporter accepts the item, fluid, energy, speed, dimensional and round robin upgrades, plus the blacklist and ignore NBT upgrades.[13][15]
The Importer is much more limited. Its list covers only the round robin, blacklist and ignore NBT upgrades, so the tiered lines above are exporter upgrades.[14][16]
Recipes
Every router block and upgrade in the mod has a crafting recipe in this pack. Here are the two routers, then the bottom and top of the item upgrade line, and the top of the speed line.[6]

What changed in BBL Routers between versions?
1 part
All the Mods 11 0.10.0-beta ships BBL Routers 2.10.0, and the mod was already in the pack as of All the Mods 11 0.0.11 or earlier. Below are the notable changes from the mod's own changelogs, newest first.[2]
Unverified Whether any pack changelog mentions this mod is not shown by the sources here, so check the pack's own changelogs for what changed between pack releases.
Mod releases
- 2.10.0: Added Tier 5 Energy, Item and Fluid Upgrades. They are now the highest tier and move 250 million RF, items and fluids. They are expensive to craft but are the most powerful upgrades. This is the version your pack has.[2][17]
- 2.7.5: Updated networking code to fix some issues with filters.[18]
- 2.7.4: Holding a wrench with a saved exporter or importer position now highlights that position in the world. Routers connected to those positions also show a red or blue outline.[19]
- 2.7.3: Fixed Exporters not dropping stored upgrades when broken, and fixed shift clicking into an Exporter freezing the game.[20]
- 2.7.2: Updated the Blacklist, Dimensional and Ignore NBT Upgrade textures. The Stock Upgrade search now works on the actual item name, so you type Iron Ingot rather than iron_ingot. The Stock, Mod and Tag filters now autofocus the search box when opened, and the Stock Filter updates its item image better. The Stock, Mod and Tag filters are no longer marked as BETA.[21]
- 2.7.1: Fixed a crash in the TransferEngine when the tick is too fast in some cases. Visual connections now refresh after 100 ticks for removals, while additions should still show instantly.[22]
- 2.7.0: Added the Mod Filter (only imports and exports items from a specific mod), the Tag Filter (only items with a specific tag) and the Stock Filter (used in an importer to only allow importing items up to a certain amount). Recipes were added for all the new filters, and they are set up through a new Config Screen. At the time they were used in item filters only and were marked as BETA.[23]
- 2.5.3: Added some aliases for the importer and exporter.[24]
- 2.5.0: The Transfer Update. Transfer logic moved into a TransferEngine class, and item, fluid and energy transfers all run through the new system via the API. Other mods can now register their own transfers and add their own buttons and menus to router screens. It also fixed the Blacklist upgrade having the wrong texture.[25]
- 2.4.1: Fixed the Importer and Exporter having the same recipe, and changed the Importer, Exporter and Distributor recipes.[26]
