What is AllTheOres?

AllTheOres is part of the mod list in this pack. The pack ships version 4.0.4, and the mod was first included in this pack version or an earlier one.[1]

Unverified I couldn't confirm from the available sources what AllTheOres adds, which ores or materials it covers, or who it is aimed at. I also have no confirmed recipes, config options or quests for it, and nothing showing it on the ATM Star path or where it fits in the pack's progression. This section stays short until those details can be verified.

How do you get started with AllTheOres?

4 parts

AllTheOres adds a big family of metals, alloys and gems. This pack gives you crafting-table recipes for ore hammers, alloy dusts, and the usual ingot, nugget, block, plate, gear and rod conversions. The sources here do not give a fixed order for progressing through them, so this section walks through the recipe types and you pick your own path.[2]

Ore hammers

The Copper Ore Hammer and the Bronze Ore Hammer both have their own shaped crafting recipes in this pack. They are the tool-style items in the recipe list, so they are a good first look.[2]

Alloy dusts

Alloys start as dusts, and each one has a shapeless crafting recipe in the alloy blending group. The pack has these for Brass Dust, Bronze Dust, Constantan Dust, Electrum Dust, Enderium Dust, Invar Dust, Lumium Dust, Signalum Dust and Steel Dust. Bronze is a handy example:[2]

Plates, gears and rods

Once you have ingots, you can craft parts from them with shaped recipes. Aluminum, brass and bronze each have a plate, a gear and a rod recipe, for example Bronze Plate, Bronze Gear and Bronze Rod. Constantan has plate and gear recipes in the part of the list shown here.[2]

Storage and conversions

Aluminum, brass, bronze and constantan all have recipes to pack ingots into a block, unpack the block again, and convert between ingots and nuggets. Aluminum also has recipes to pack Raw Aluminum into a raw block and back, which is handy for storing raw ore.[2]

Unverified The sources here show no in-jar guidebook and no quests for this mod, so which metals to make first and what the ore hammers do are not confirmed. Check the recipe viewer in-game to see the exact ingredients before you plan your first metals. This site does hold All the Mods 11's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

How does AllTheOres work?

1 part

This is the one place where I have to be upfront with you: the sources for AllTheOres in this pack only cover recipes. There is no guidebook, no tooltip text and no config file for the mod. So I can't walk you through machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or automation for it, and I won't guess.[2]

Unverified How AllTheOres items are processed, powered or automated in this pack is not shown by the sources here. No in-jar guidebook, config file or tooltip text was available for the mod, so that detail is not confirmed.

What the pack's recipes do show

The pack has shaped crafting recipes for the Copper Ore Hammer and the Bronze Ore Hammer. The recipe dump doesn't list their ingredients or describe what the hammers do, so the blocks below are the reliable way to see how they're made.[2]

The pack also adds shapeless crafting recipes, from the AllTheCompressed mod, that produce AllTheOres blocks. They are named as decompress recipes, and each one outputs a single block. They cover both processed blocks, like Steel Block and Bronze Block, and raw ore blocks, like Raw Tin Block and Raw Zinc Block. The dump lists no item inputs for them, so check the in-game recipe viewer for what goes in.[2]

Here are the raw blocks that have a decompress recipe in the pack:[2]

Gem and alloy blocks get the same treatment, for example Ruby Block, Sapphire Block, Peridot Block, Electrum Block, Enderium Block and Lumium Block.[2]

How do you progress through AllTheOres?

4 parts

Unverified The sources here do not show any quest in the pack's quest book that covers AllTheOres, or a place for it on the main quest path. A quest-by-quest progression is therefore not given, and this section only covers what the recipe data shows.

The recipe data does not rank the metals by power, and it does not list ingredients for each step. For exact costs, use the recipe blocks below or look the item up in your recipe viewer.[2]

Ore hammers

The pack has crafting recipes for a Copper Ore Hammer and a Bronze Ore Hammer. The hammer group also has a crafting recipe for Aluminum Dust, and its id points to the Aluminum Ingot as the starting item. It is shown below.[2]

Alloys

These alloy dusts each have an alloy blending recipe in the crafting grid: Brass Dust, Bronze Dust, Constantan Dust, Electrum Dust, Enderium Dust, Invar Dust, Lumium Dust, Signalum Dust and Steel Dust. The recipe data here does not show how those dusts become ingots. Bronze and steel are shown below.[2]

Plates, gears and rods

The pack has plate, gear and rod recipes for copper, gold, diamond, aluminum, bronze, brass, constantan, electrum and enderium. Examples are Copper Plate, Gold Gear, Diamond Rod and Enderium Plate. One of them is shown below.[2]

Storage and compression

Aluminum, brass, bronze, constantan, electrum and enderium have crafting recipes to go between nuggets, ingots and blocks. Raw aluminum has a raw block conversion, and the gems Cinnabar and Fluorite can be crafted into blocks and back.[2]

The pack also adds decompression recipes for blocks of this mod, covering ingot blocks, raw blocks and gem blocks such as Ruby Block and Sapphire Block. The recipe data here does not show their inputs.[2]
