What is Tree Tap?
Tree Tap is part of the mod list in this pack. This version of the pack ships Tree Tap 1.21.1-0.4.2, and it has been in the pack since version 2.11 or earlier.[1]
Unverified I couldn't confirm from the available sources what Tree Tap adds, how its mechanics work, or who it suits best. The pack's files show no in-pack recipes, config values or quests for it, and no guidebook was found inside the mod. I haven't described any gameplay here to avoid guessing.
Unverified No ATM Star path or quest involvement for Tree Tap was found, so where it fits in the pack's progression is unconfirmed. Check the mod in-game, for example in the recipe viewer, before building a plan around it. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you get started with Tree Tap?
1 part
Tree Tap is a mod built around collecting sap. The pack's text for it names a Tap and a Sap Collector, so those are the pieces to look out for first.[2]
What you'll be working with
- Tap: a block called Tap. Its item text includes a "Speed modifier" line, so the Tap has a speed value you can read in game.[2]
- Sap Collector: a block called Sap Collector (id sap_collector).[2]
- Wooden Sap Collector: a block that is also named Sap Collector in game (id wooden_sap_collector), so some items share a name.[2]
The mod also has its own Jade plugin entry for the Tap, so Jade has a dedicated Tap entry for it.[2]
Unverified The crafting recipes for the Tap and the sap collectors are not shown in the sources available for this guide, so there are no recipe blocks or crafting order here yet.
How does Tree Tap work?
1 part
Tree Tap adds the Tap, the Sap Collector and the Sap Collector. Both collector blocks use the in-game name "Sap Collector".[2]
What you can see in game
- The Tap carries a speed modifier. Its tooltip shows a line in the form "Speed modifier: " followed by a value.[2]
- The wooden collector has its own block id but the same display name as the plain Sap Collector, so check the id if you need to tell them apart.[2]
- If you use Jade, the mod adds a Jade option labeled "Tap", which you can find in Jade's plugin settings.[2]
