What is Luminax?
1 part
Luminax is a small decoration mod that adds a handful of simple, single-colored glowing blocks. If you build bases and like your builds to light up, this is the mod for you.[1]
The mod currently includes these blocks: a full block, a slab, a stair, a wall, a pressure plate and a button.[1]
If you've used AntiblocksReChiseled, the idea will feel familiar. Luminax is similar, but it is not a fork or copy of that mod. Its author describes it as 100% original code. It was made to replace Antiblocks in the modpack it was originally built for, though it can be used freely in any pack.[1]
In this pack
This pack ships Luminax 1.1.1, built for NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.1. It has been in the pack since version 2.12 or earlier.[2]
The mod is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later.[1]
How do you get started with Luminax?
3 parts
Luminax is a small, friendly mod: it adds simple single-colored glowing blocks for building. There's no machinery or progression here, so getting started is really about picking a color and crafting your first block. It was made to replace Antiblocks in this pack.[1]
Step 1: Make a full block
Everything in Luminax starts from the full block of a color, so craft that first. Here is the Black Block as an example. Every color I can see in the recipe list, like Blue, Brown and Cyan, follows the same pattern with its own color.[3]

The full block is the base for every other Luminax shape in that color.
Step 2: Turn it into other shapes
Once you have a block, you can make the other pieces from it: slab, stairs, wall, pressure plate and button. Each of these recipes only needs the full block of the matching color.[1][3]

Slabs, stairs, walls and pressure plates all use the full block as their input.
The luminax:black_button is the odd one out because its recipe is shapeless, so you can place the block anywhere in the crafting grid.[3]

Step 3: Try the Dim variants
There is also a Dim set of blocks, such as luminax:dim_black_block. Dim blocks have their own full-block recipe, different from the regular one, but the slab, stairs, wall, pressure plate and button recipes work the same way, using the Dim full block as the input. The recipe list shows Dim versions in black, blue, brown, cyan, gray, green, light blue, light gray and lime, and more recipes exist beyond what I can see.[3]

Dim full blocks use a different recipe from the regular ones.
Unverified The sources I have don't state the light level of Luminax blocks or how the Dim variants differ in brightness, so I can't confirm that here. No quests in this pack involve the mod, as far as I could check.
How does Luminax work?
2 parts
Good news: Luminax is a very simple mod. It adds a handful of single-colored glowing blocks, and nothing in the available sources describes machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation for it. There is nothing to wire up or feed, so this section is short.[1]
The mod was made as a replacement for Antiblocks in the pack. It is described as similar to AntiblocksReChiseled, but it is not a fork or copy.[1]
What each color gives you
Every color comes as the same set of shapes: a full block, a slab, stairs, a wall, a pressure plate and a button.[1]
How crafting flows
Everything starts with the full block of a color. The slab, stairs, wall, pressure plate and button are all crafted from that block. Here is the black set as an example, and the other colors follow the same pattern.[3]

Besides the regular colors there are "Dim" versions, such as luminax:dim_black_block and luminax:dim_blue_block. They use their own recipe for the full block, shown below. Their slabs, stairs, walls, plates and buttons are crafted from the dim block, the same way as the regular set.[3]

The dim full block has a different recipe from the regular one.
Unverified The sources do not give details such as light levels, blast resistance, the exact crafting yields, or the full list of colors. Check the in-game recipe viewer for those. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you progress through Luminax?
3 parts
Luminax is a decoration mod, so don't expect a tier ladder like you'd get with a tech or magic mod. The recipes in this pack show a simple two-step path: craft a colored base block, then turn that block into its matching shapes.[3]
Step 1: Colored base blocks
Every color starts with a base block, such as luminax:black_block or luminax:blue_block. Each one is a shaped crafting recipe that takes a dye of its own color, so you pick the color you want when you craft it.[3]

Black is just the example here. The other colors, like blue, brown and cyan, follow the same pattern with their own dye.
Dim variants
Each color also has a Dim version, such as luminax:dim_black_block. It is a separate shaped recipe with a different material list from the regular block, so check the recipe below if you want the softer look.[3]

Compare this with the regular Black Block recipe above.
Step 2: Shapes from the base block
Once you have a base block, every shape is made from that one block: a button, a pressure plate, a slab, stairs and a wall. Dim blocks get the same set. For example, luminax:black_slab and luminax:dim_black_slab each come from their own base block.[3]
- luminax:black_button is a shapeless recipe, so you can place the block anywhere in the grid.[3]
- luminax:black_pressure_plate, luminax:black_slab, luminax:black_stairs and luminax:black_wall are shaped recipes.[3]

The same layout applies to every color, and to the Dim set.
Unverified The sources I have don't show any quests involving Luminax, any gating behind other mods, or any tier system. Nothing here is unlocked by progression, so treat the recipes above as the whole path.
