What is Iron's Lib?

2 parts

Iron's Lib is a library mod. Its job is to provide common functionality and content for Iron's mods, so it's mostly a foundation that other mods build on rather than something you play with directly.[1]

Under the hood it adds reusable frameworks for those mods, plus a Patreon Integration API layer. If you're curious what it brings to the table, here's what it currently supports:[1]

  • A Transmog Table block and an Armor Transmog Framework.[1]
  • Player Statue blocks, along with Player Statue asset generation and structure generation tools.[1]
  • A Decorative Statue Framework for creating dynamic multiblocks and rendering baked statue models.[1]
  • Patreon Integration support for all of the above.[1]

Version in the pack

This pack ships Iron's Lib 1.21.1-2.1.0. It was already included in an earlier release (6.4 or before), so it's a long-standing part of the modlist.[2]

Where it fits in progression

Unverified No quests in this pack involve Iron's Lib, it isn't on the ATM Star path, and no in-jar guidebook was found for it. Nothing here confirms it as a progression step, so treat it as a supporting library.

How do you get started with Iron's Lib?

3 parts

Iron's Lib is a library mod. It provides shared content and frameworks for other mods by the same author, plus a Patreon integration layer. It is small, and the one item you can craft yourself is the Transmog Table.[1]

Craft the Transmog Table

The mod provides a Transmog Table block and an Armor Transmog Framework. The Patreon Transmog Table is the first thing to make. The pack changed this recipe, so use the one below.[1][3]

Know the Patreon limits

Transmog options can require a Patreon status. The tooltips show a requirement line for this, and a "Missing transmog permissions" message appears if you don't have the access an option needs.[1][4]

Player Statues

The mod also adds Player Statue blocks. The in-game hints say to use a nametag of a Patron to set the player, and to crouch-click to edit the pose.[1][4]

How does Iron's Lib work?

4 parts

Iron's Lib is a library mod, so it works differently from the tech and magic mods in the pack. It provides shared frameworks for Iron's mods and a Patreon Integration API layer. The sources describe no machines, power network or fluid handling for it.[1]

Transmog Table and armor transmog

Iron's Lib currently provides support for a Transmog Table block, which in this pack is the Patreon Transmog Table, and for an Armor Transmog Framework.[1][3]

The pack changed this recipe from the mod's own version, so use the one shown here.[3]

Transmog is tied to Patreon status. The mod has a "Missing transmog permissions" message, and transmog options can show a requirement for a particular Patreon status.[1][4]

Player statues

The library also has Player Statue blocks, plus tools for generating statue assets and statue structures. The in-game hints for the player statue say to use a nametag of a Patron to set the player, and to crouch-click to edit the pose.[1][4]

Decorative statue multiblocks

Iron's Lib includes a Decorative Statue Framework for creating dynamic multiblocks and rendering baked statue models. It is described as a framework, and the sources describe no machine for you to operate with it. Patreon integration covers the transmog and statue features.[1]

Attributes

The mod's language file describes these attributes:[4]

  • Armor Pierce bypasses a set number of enemy armor points.[4]
  • Arrow Damage raises damage from arrow-like projectiles by a percentage.[4]
  • Crit Damage raises the critical hit multiplier by a percentage.[4]
  • Dodge Chance gives a percent chance to negate incoming damage.[4]
  • Experience Gained raises the experience dropped from mobs and blocks by a percentage.[4]
  • Healing Received raises the healing you receive by a percentage.[4]
  • Mining Speed raises your mining speed by a percentage.[4]

Unverified No config files and no in-jar guidebook were available for this mod, so the sources here do not show how Patreon status is checked or any adjustable settings.

How do you progress through Iron's Lib?

In this pack, the recipe data for Iron's Lib shows a single craftable item: the Patreon Transmog Table. With only one recipe, there are no tiers to climb and no upgrade path to follow.[3]

The pack has changed this recipe from the mod's default, so use the in-pack version below. It is a shaped crafting recipe.[3]

What changed in Iron's Lib between versions?

Iron's Lib is a library mod, so most of its history in the pack is version bumps. Here is what the pack changelogs show, oldest first.[5][6][7][8]

  • All the Mods 10 6.4: Iron's Patreon Library 1.21.1-1.0.1 was added to the pack.[8]
  • All the Mods 10 7.0: Iron's Patreon Library was removed and Iron's Lib 1.21.1-1.0.2 was added.[7]
  • All the Mods 10 7.1: Iron's Lib went from 1.21.1-1.0.2 to 1.21.1-1.1.0.[6]
  • All the Mods 10 7.2: Iron's Lib went from 1.21.1-1.1.0 to 1.21.1-2.1.0.[5]

All the Mods 10 8.1 ships Iron's Lib 1.21.1-2.1.0, the same version that arrived in 7.2. The changelogs I have show no change to this mod in 8.1.[2][5]

Unverified What changed inside Iron's Lib between these versions is unconfirmed. No changelogs are stored for the shipped jars, so these entries only show which versions the pack moved between.
