What is Iron's Lib?

2 parts

Iron's Lib is a library mod. Its job is to provide reusable frameworks and shared content for Iron's other mods, plus a Patreon integration API layer. If you've spotted it in the mod list and wondered why it's there, it's mostly working behind the scenes so the author's other mods can share the same systems.[1]

What it adds

  • A Transmog Table block, along with an Armor Transmog Framework.[1]
  • Player Statue Blocks, plus tools for generating Player Statue assets and Player Statue structures.[1]
  • A Decorative Statue Framework for building dynamic multiblocks and rendering baked statue models.[1]
  • Patreon integration support for all of the features above.[1]

In All the Mods 10

All the Mods 10 6.6 ships Iron's Lib version 1.21.1-1.0.1, and the mod has been in the pack since 6.4 or earlier. You don't need to install or set up anything yourself. It comes with the pack so the mods that depend on it can run.[2]

Unverified The available sources don't say which mods in this pack depend on Iron's Lib, how its blocks are obtained here, or where it fits in the pack's progression. Treat it as a support library unless you find an in-game recipe or quest for it. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

How do you get started with Iron's Lib?

2 parts

Iron's Lib is a library first. It provides shared frameworks for Iron's other mods plus a Patreon integration layer, so you usually won't make a pile of items from it. Its features are a Transmog Table block with an armor transmog framework, Player Statue blocks, a decorative statue framework, and Patreon support for all of these.[1]

Your first (and only) craft: the Transmog Table

In this pack, the only recipe that makes an item from this mod is the Patreon Transmog Table. The pack has changed its recipe, so check the version below rather than an older video or the mod's default.[3]

Modified by All the Mods 10

The table is the block for the mod's armor transmog framework, so it's the piece to grab if you want to experiment with transmog.[1]

Watch out: Transmog options are tied to Patreon status. An option can show that it requires a certain Patreon status, and without access you'll see a "Missing transmog permissions" message. Don't be surprised if some or all options are locked for you.[4]

Player Statues

If you come across a Player Statue, you can set which player it shows by using a nametag with a Patron's name on it. Crouch-click the statue to edit its pose.[4]

Unverified How to get Player Statue blocks in this pack is unconfirmed. There is no crafting recipe for them in the pack's recipe dump, and the sources don't say whether they appear in world generation.

How does Iron's Lib work?

3 parts

Iron's Lib is a library first, not a content mod. It gives Iron's other mods reusable frameworks and a Patreon Integration API layer. So you won't find machines, power, pipes or automation in it. Its systems are all about looks: armor transmog and statues.[1]

The Transmog Table

The Patreon Transmog Table is the block side of the mod's Armor Transmog Framework, which lets you change how your armor looks.[1]

Transmog options are tied to Patreon status. An option can show a tooltip saying it requires a certain Patreon Status. If you try something you don't have access to, you'll see a Missing transmog permissions message. Unlocked transmogs show up with a Patreon Transmog title in the tooltip.[4]

All the Mods 10 changes the recipe for the table. Check the recipe below instead of relying on anything you remember from other packs.[3]

Player Statues

Iron's Lib adds Player Statue blocks. It also has tools for generating statue assets and statue structures.[1]

  1. Use a nametag of a Patron on the statue to set which player it shows.[4]
  2. Crouch-click the statue to edit its pose.[4]

Decorative Statues and Multiblocks

The library also has a Decorative Statue Framework. Iron's mods use it to create dynamic multiblocks and render baked statue models. Patreon Integration covers this framework too, along with the transmog and player statue features.[1]

Unverified The sources don't explain how these decorative multiblocks are built in-game, which blocks use them in this pack, or how Patreon status gets checked for your account. Those details are unverified.

How do you progress through Iron's Lib?

1 part

Iron's Lib doesn't give you a big progression ladder in this pack. In this version of All the Mods 10, only one Iron's Lib item has a crafting recipe: the Patreon Transmog Table.[3]

Crafting the Patreon Transmog Table

The Patreon Transmog Table uses a shaped crafting recipe, and the pack has changed it from the mod's original. So if you've crafted this table in another pack or from a video, check the in-pack version below before gathering materials.[3]

This recipe is changed by the pack.

Tip: The recipe accepts any gold ingot in the #c:ingots/gold tag, so gold from any source in the pack works.[3]

Unverified The sources don't confirm whether Iron's Lib has tiers, what the Patreon Transmog Table does, or whether any quests cover this mod.

What changed in Iron's Lib between versions?

Iron's Lib has a pretty quiet history in this pack. It was added in All the Mods 10 6.4, where the pack changelog lists it under its longer name, Iron's Patreon Library, at version 1.21.1-1.0.1.[5]

In All the Mods 10 6.6 you're running Iron's Lib 1.21.1-1.0.1, the same version it was added with in 6.4. So from 6.4 through 6.6 the version number didn't change.[2][5]

Unverified There are no stored changelogs for this mod's jar, so it's unverified what the 1.21.1-1.0.1 release changed compared to earlier versions of the mod.
