What is IntegratedTunnels?
1 part
IntegratedTunnels 1.8.28 is part of this pack, and it has been here since version 0.32 or earlier. The sources I have are only the mod list and the quest book, so this overview stays short and sticks to what they show.[1]
The mod adds importer and interface parts for three kinds of resources: items, fluids and energy. You get Part Importer Item and Part Interface Item for items, Part Importer Fluid and Part Interface Fluid for fluids, and Part Importer Energy and Part Interface Energy for energy.[2]
Where it fits in the progression
The quest book puts IntegratedTunnels in the basic_logistics chapter. Each of the three resource types has its own quest, and each one asks you to obtain the importer and interface for that type. The quests are a quest in "?" for items, a quest in "?" for fluids and a quest in "?" for energy.[2]
All three quests unlock after the same two earlier quests in that chapter. That makes them a good fit once you start moving items, fluids and power around your base, rather than something you need on day one.[2]
Unverified The sources I have do not show IntegratedTunnels on the ATM Star quest path, and no in-jar guidebook was found for it. How the parts work in detail is not covered here.
How do you get started with IntegratedTunnels?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 4.5 guide
IntegratedTunnels moves items, fluids and energy around, and in this pack every part you craft builds on Integrated Dynamics items. The order below follows how the recipes chain together, so each step feeds the next.[3]
Start with an interface
Interfaces are the base of the whole mod. You get three flavours: Part Interface Item, Part Interface Fluid and Part Interface Energy. Craft the type you need first. The quest a quest in "?" in the integrated_dynamics chapter accepts any one of the three.[3][4]

Turn it into an importer or exporter
Next, upgrade the interface into an importer or an exporter. The item versions are Part Importer Item and Part Exporter Item. Fluid and energy have their own versions, such as Part Importer Fluid and Part Exporter Energy.[3]

The quest book follows the same path. In the basic_logistics chapter, a quest in "?" asks for an item importer and an item interface. a quest in "?" does the same for fluids, and a quest in "?" for energy. In the integrated_dynamics chapter, a quest in "?" accepts any importer and a quest in "?" accepts any exporter, including the world versions.[4][5]
Reach into the world
Once you have a basic importer or exporter, you can upgrade it into a world version of the same kind. Examples are Part Importer World Item and Part Exporter World Item, and there are fluid and energy variants too. Each one is a shapeless upgrade of the matching basic part.[3]

The block versions, Part Importer World Block and Part Exporter World Block, are built from the matching item importer or exporter. The mod's own advancements hint at what they do: breaking stone with a World Block Importer, and placing logs with a World Block Exporter.[3][6]

Filtering and the Player Simulator
If you only want an interface to expose part of an inventory, craft a filtering interface such as Part Interface Filter Item. It is a shapeless upgrade of the matching interface. The mod's advancements give example uses: exposing an inventory's contents only during daytime, or only passing items from a certain mod.[3][6]

Save Part Player Simulator for last. Its recipe needs the world block and world item versions of both the importer and the exporter, so you only get there after the steps above. One of the mod's advancements has you click with a Diamond Sword using it.[3][6]

How does IntegratedTunnels work?
7 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
IntegratedTunnels is all about parts that move items, fluids and energy. Every part comes in an item, fluid or energy flavour, plus world-facing versions that act on blocks, entities and dropped items. Here is how the pieces fit together and what they cost to run in this pack.[7][8]
Interfaces: the entry point
Everything starts with an interface: Part Interface Item, Part Interface Fluid or Part Interface Energy. In this pack's config their base energy usage is 0, so sitting in your network costs nothing.[8][9]
Crafting Shaped
| any wooden chest | ||
Recipe id: integratedtunnels:crafting/part_interface_item
If you want to control what passes through an interface, craft a filtering version such as Part Interface Filter Item. It is made from the matching plain interface, so you can upgrade one you already have.[8]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: integratedtunnels:crafting/part_interface_filter_item
The mod's own advancement descriptions show what filtering interfaces can do. One only exposes an inventory's contents during daytime. Another only passes items from a certain mod.[7]
Importers and exporters
Importers pull things into the network and exporters push things out of it. You get one of each for items, fluids and energy, for example Part Importer Item and Part Exporter Item. Each one is crafted from the interface of the same type.[8]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: integratedtunnels:crafting/part_importer_item
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: integratedtunnels:crafting/part_exporter_item
The mod's descriptions say importers and exporters are driven by a boolean you supply. For items, for example, "Import items if the boolean is true" and "Export items if the boolean is true". Fluids and energy work the same way. The advancement text also shows that an exporter can be driven by a list of items, or by an operator such as the Enchantable Operator.[7]
In this pack's config, the base energy usage of the item importer and exporter is 1, for example general.general.importerItemBaseConsumption and general.general.exporterItemBaseConsumption. The fluid and energy importers and exporters are set to 1 as well. The config doesn't state the unit.[9]
World parts
The world versions work on the block or entities in front of them. Block parts like Part Importer World Block pick up blocks, and Part Exporter World Block places them. The world item, fluid and energy parts also have entity-facing aspects. These import from or export to the facing entities.[7][8]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: integratedtunnels:crafting/part_exporter_world_block
World parts have a different base energy cost depending on whether a variable is set. For the world block exporter, general.general.exporterWorldBlockBaseConsumptionDisabled is 1 and general.general.exporterWorldBlockBaseConsumptionEnabled is 32.[9]
The world item, fluid and energy importers and exporters follow the same pattern, with settings ending in Disabled and Enabled. The block and item importers do too, for example general.general.importerWorldItemBaseConsumptionEnabled.[9]
Several world aspects take numeric settings. Offsets on each axis are values between 0 and 1. Yaw and pitch run from -180 to 180 degrees. Entity velocity is between 0 and 25. The entity index picks the n-th entity, and -1 always picks a random one.[7]
The world block option "break no drops" only breaks a block if it produces drops. "Match block" matches the item form of the block instead of its dropped items.[7]
Player Simulator
Part Player Simulator clicks like a player. It can click with any item or with an empty hand. Optionally it simulates sneaking, and it can hold a continuous click. If continuous click is off, each click takes one tick. In this pack its base usage is 1 without a variable and 64 with one.[7][8][9]

Filtering and matching options
The mod exposes a lot of matching toggles. These are the ones that matter most for automation:[7]
- Blacklist: handle everything except the items in the given list.[7]
- Empty is any: an empty value matches everything. Otherwise it matches nothing.[7]
- Exact amount and check stack size: only move things when the amount matches exactly, not less.[7]
- NBT require, subset, superset and recursive: control how NBT tags are compared for items and fluids.[7]
- Round robin: iterate interfaces in circular order and ignore priorities.[7]
- Craft: craft the instance if it is not present in the network.[7]
Filtering interfaces also have options for whether the filter applies to insertions into the network or to extractions from it. A separate option decides whether everything passes when the filter is disabled for one of those directions.[7]
Reading the network
The mod can also report on your storage. Aspects return the number of valid item or fluid interfaces, the list of items or fluids in the network, the total count and the upper limit of what it can hold. A count-by-item or count-by-fluid operator reports how much of one specific thing you have.[7]
Performance and safety settings
- core.general.inventoryUnchangedTickTimeout is 10. This is how many ticks importers and exporters sleep before re-checking targets that were previously unchanged.[9]
- core.general.fluidRateLimit is 2,147,483,647, the maximum network fluid transfer rate.[9]
- core.general.ejectItemsOnBlockDropOverflow is true. Items that don't fit the target when a block is broken are ejected into the world. Otherwise they would be voided.[9]
- core.general.ejectItemsOnInconsistentSimulationMovement is true. Items are ejected if an item handler reports inconsistent movement in simulation mode. With it disabled, items can be voided.[9]
- core.general.worldInteractionEvents is true, so particles and sounds play when tunnels interact with the world.[9]
How do you progress through IntegratedTunnels?
6 parts
IntegratedTunnels has no formal tier system in this pack. Progression is a chain of upgrades: you start with interfaces, move to importers and exporters, then to the world versions, and finish with the player simulator. The pack's quests only cover the first two steps, so everything after that is you following the recipes.[2][10]
What the quests cover
The basic_logistics chapter has three IntegratedTunnels quests, one each for items, fluids and energy. Each one asks you to get the matching importer and interface, and each unlocks after the same two earlier quests. None of them has a title in the pack data.[2]
- Items: a quest in "?" wants Part Importer Item and Part Interface Item.[2]
- Fluids: a quest in "?" wants Part Importer Fluid and Part Interface Fluid.[2]
- Energy: a quest in "?" wants Part Importer Energy and Part Interface Energy.[2]
Step 1: Interfaces
The interfaces are where everything starts, and the other parts build on them. There is one for items, one for fluids and one for energy. Here are the in-pack recipes.[10]

Step 2: Importers and exporters
Importers and exporters come next. Each is a shapeless recipe that upgrades the matching interface, so you pick the resource type at the interface stage. Importers are the ones the quests ask for. Exporters are in the same family but have no quest of their own. The item versions are shown below. The fluid and energy versions follow the same pattern.[2][10]

- Energy: Part Importer Energy and Part Exporter Energy.[10]
Step 3: World importers and exporters
The world versions are the next step up from the standard importers and exporters. There are item, fluid and energy variants, plus a block variant for each direction. Here are the item and block recipes.[10]

- Energy: Part Importer World Energy and Part Exporter World Energy.[10]
Side branch: filter interfaces
Each interface can also be turned into a filter interface. These sit off to the side of the main chain and don't lead to anything else in the sources. There is one each for items, fluids and energy: Part Interface Filter Item, Part Interface Filter Fluid and Part Interface Filter Energy.[10]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: integratedtunnels:crafting/part_interface_filter_item
Final step: Player Simulator
The Part Player Simulator is the end of the chain. Its recipe is built from the world item and block parts, so you need those first.[10]

Unverified The quest data only covers interfaces and importers. Nothing in the sources says whether any quest rewards or unlocks the exporters, world parts, filter interfaces or the Player Simulator.
How does IntegratedTunnels work with other mods?
4 parts
In this pack, every recipe that links IntegratedTunnels with another mod points to Integrated Dynamics. The tunnel parts are built on top of Integrated Dynamics items, so you'll need to be set up with that mod before you can make any of them. A couple of vanilla items show up too.[10]
Interfaces: the starting point
The item, fluid and energy interfaces (Part Interface Item, Part Interface Fluid and Part Interface Energy) are crafted from Integrated Dynamics materials, with a vanilla item for each type. The Crystallized Menril Chunk (Crystallized Menril Chunk) is the part all three share. Every other tunnel part is built from one of these interfaces.[10]

Importers and exporters: variable transformers
Turning an interface into an importer or an exporter is a shapeless crafting step that uses an Integrated Dynamics variable transformer. The Input Variable Transformer makes importers and the Output Variable Transformer makes exporters. This works the same way for item, fluid and energy.[10]

Item importer. The fluid and energy importers follow the same pattern.

World parts: the Logic Director
The world versions of the importers and exporters, which work on the world instead of an inventory, need the Logic Director. You craft it together with the matching normal importer or exporter. That gives you Part Importer World Item, Part Importer World Fluid, Part Importer World Energy and the exporter equivalents.[10]

Recipe id: integratedtunnels:crafting/part_importer_world_item
The block versions (Part Importer World Block and Part Exporter World Block) add a vanilla Diamond Pickaxe to the Logic Director and the matching item importer or exporter.[10]

Quests
The "basic_logistics" quest chapter has three quests that ask you to obtain an importer together with its matching interface. They cover fluid (a quest in "?"), item (a quest in "?") and energy (a quest in "?"). They are a good checkpoint that your Integrated Dynamics setup is producing what the tunnel parts need.[2]
Unverified No other mod integrations for IntegratedTunnels could be confirmed from this pack's recipes and quests. Integration with storage or automation mods may exist, but it is unverified here.
Which All the Mods 10 quests use IntegratedTunnels?
2 parts
IntegratedTunnels shows up in one quest chapter in this pack: "basic_logistics". There are three quests for it, and each one asks you to hand in an importer part and an interface part of the same type.[2]
The three quests
- Items: quest a quest in "?" has you submit Part Importer Item and Part Interface Item.[2]
- Fluids: quest a quest in "?" has you submit Part Importer Fluid and Part Interface Fluid.[2]
- Energy: quest a quest in "?" has you submit Part Importer Energy and Part Interface Energy.[2]
Order
All three quests unlock after the same two earlier quests in the chapter (IDs 6112956E19017D2D and 03C40D6A5D722543). That means they sit side by side rather than in a chain, so you can do the item, fluid and energy quests in any order once those two are done.[2]
The quests have no titles in the pack files, so I can only tell you what they ask for from their tasks. The sources don't give any rewards, and I can't say what the two prerequisite quests involve.[2]
Unverified Rewards for these three quests, and what the two prerequisite quests ask for, are not confirmed in the available sources.
Which IntegratedTunnels config options matter?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
The IntegratedTunnels options in this pack live in config/integratedtunnels-common.toml. Most of them are about how much energy your tunnels use, plus a few options for what happens to items when something goes wrong. Here's how this pack sets the ones you're most likely to care about.[9]
Energy use of importers and exporters
The plain item, fluid and energy importers and exporters are cheap in this pack. general.general.importerItemBaseConsumption and general.general.exporterItemBaseConsumption are both 1, and the fluid and energy versions (general.general.importerFluidBaseConsumption, general.general.exporterFluidBaseConsumption, general.general.importerEnergyBaseConsumption, general.general.exporterEnergyBaseConsumption) are 1 as well.[9]
The interfaces cost nothing to run. general.general.interfaceItemBaseConsumption, general.general.interfaceFluidBaseConsumption and general.general.interfaceEnergyBaseConsumption are all 0.[9]
World interaction costs more with a variable
Each world importer and exporter (block, item, fluid and energy) has a setting for when it has no variable and a separate setting for when it does. Without a variable they use 1, for example general.general.importerWorldBlockBaseConsumptionDisabled. With a variable they use 32, for example general.general.exporterWorldItemBaseConsumptionEnabled. The same 1 versus 32 split applies to all the world fluid, energy and block variants.[9]
The player simulator is the most expensive. It uses 1 without a variable (general.general.playerSimulatorBaseConsumptionDisabled) and 64 with one (general.general.playerSimulatorBaseConsumptionEnabled).[9]
Item safety and performance
- core.general.ejectItemsOnBlockDropOverflow is true. If a block is broken and not every drop fits into the target, the leftovers are ejected into the world. If it were off, they would be voided.[9]
- core.general.ejectItemsOnInconsistentSimulationMovement is true. If item movement fails because an inventory reports inconsistent movement in simulation mode, the items are ejected into the world. With it disabled, items can be voided.[9]
- core.general.inventoryUnchangedTickTimeout is 10. This is how many ticks importers and exporters sleep before checking their targets again when they were unchanged before.[9]
- core.general.fluidRateLimit is 2,147,483,647, the maximum network fluid transfer rate.[9]
- core.general.worldInteractionEvents is true, so particles and sounds play when tunnels interact with the world.[9]
Analytics and version checking
core.general.analytics and core.general.versionChecker are both false in this pack, so the anonymous startup analytics request and the version checker are off.[9]
