What is Industrialization Overdrive?

Industrialization Overdrive is included in this pack as version 1.10.6+1.21.1, so you can use it in your world right away.[1]

Unverified The available sources do not describe what Industrialization Overdrive adds, who it is aimed at, or where it fits in this pack's progression. Check the mod's in-game items and recipes, for example with a recipe viewer, to see what it offers before you plan around it. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

How do you get started with Industrialization Overdrive?

3 parts

Industrialization Overdrive is an add-on that builds on Modern Industrialization (MI), so everything it adds is made from MI parts. In this pack it adds three craftable items: the Multiblock Builder, the Pyrolyse Oven and the Multi Processing Array.[2][3]

Each of these can be made in two ways. You can use a regular shaped crafting recipe, or you can run it through the MI Assembler. Use whichever fits your setup; the output is the same.[2]

Step 1: The Terminal

The Terminal is the one to grab first, because it makes building MI multiblocks way less painful. Point it at an MI multiblock, press the key combination shown in its tooltip, and it builds the whole structure for you automatically.[2][3]

There's one catch: the Terminal doesn't create blocks out of thin air. The parts for the multiblock need to be in your inventory. Once you have an ME system, you can link the Terminal to it, and it will also pull parts from that network. Its tooltip then shows where the linked ME system is.[3]

Tip: Before you use the Terminal on a big structure, stock up on the casings and other parts in your inventory. If you run an ME system, link the Terminal to it, so the parts get pulled straight from storage.[3]

Step 2: The Pyrolyse Oven

Next up is the Pyrolyse Oven. Its recipe uses a Coke Oven and an Advanced Machine Hull, so you'll be putting it together once your MI base has moved past its first steam-age machines.[2]

Step 3: The Multi Processing Array

The Multi Processing Array is the later-game piece. Its recipe calls for a Solid Titanium Machine Casing and a Processing Unit, so this is something you'll build further into your MI progression, not on day one.[2]

Unverified What the Pyrolyse Oven and the Multi Processing Array actually process, whether they are multiblocks themselves, and their power use or speeds could not be confirmed from the available material. Check the in-game tooltips and JEI/EMI once you have them. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

How does Industrialization Overdrive work?

3 parts

Industrialization Overdrive is an add-on built around Modern Industrialization. Every item it adds in this pack is crafted from Modern Industrialization parts, and its most hands-on feature is a tool that builds Modern Industrialization multiblocks for you. The sources for this section are thin, so it covers only what can be confirmed.[2][3]

The Terminal: auto-building multiblocks

The Multiblock Builder is the mod's multiblock helper. Look at a Modern Industrialization multiblock and press the Terminal's key combination, and it builds the structure for you automatically. That means no more placing every casing and hatch by hand.[3]

The Terminal doesn't create blocks from nothing. The parts the structure needs have to be in your inventory. Stock up on casings and other components before you use it.[3]

The Terminal can also be linked to an ME system, and its tooltip shows where the linked system is. When it is linked, it can take the parts from that ME system as well as from your inventory, so a big build can come straight out of your storage network.[3]

Unverified The sources don't give the exact key combination for auto-building, since the tooltip fills it in from your keybinds. They also don't explain how to link the Terminal to an ME system. Check the item's tooltip in-game for the keys.

Machines added by the mod

The pack's recipes include two machines from this mod: the Multi Processing Array and the Pyrolyse Oven. Both are built from Modern Industrialization components, and the Pyrolyse Oven recipe uses an existing Modern Industrialization machine as one of its parts.[2]

Unverified The sources don't describe what the Multi Processing Array or the Pyrolyse Oven do, whether they are multiblocks, or how they handle power, fluids and items. Two ways to craft everything

In this pack, every Industrialization Overdrive item has two recipes: a normal shaped recipe for the crafting table and a matching recipe in the Modern Industrialization Assembler. Both use the same ingredients. Once your Assembler is running, you can hand these crafts off to it instead of making them by hand.[2]

How do you progress through Industrialization Overdrive?

3 parts

This pack has no quest line for Industrialization Overdrive, so the recipes are your guide to progression. The mod adds three craftable items here: the Multiblock Builder, the Pyrolyse Oven and the Multi Processing Array. All three are built from Modern Industrialization parts, so your progress in this mod follows your Modern Industrialization base.[2]

Tip: Every item has two recipes: a shaped crafting table recipe and a Modern Industrialization Assembler recipe that uses the same ingredients. Once you have an Assembler running, you can automate these crafts instead of making them by hand.[2]

Terminal

The Multiblock Builder uses basic Modern Industrialization electronics, so it's the cheapest item the mod adds in this pack.[2]

Multi Processing Array

The Multi Processing Array needs a Modern Industrialization Assembler, a Large Advanced Motor, a Processing Unit and a Solid Titanium Machine Casing. That makes it the most demanding of the three recipes.[2]

Unverified The sources don't confirm what each of these machines does, whether any of them are multiblocks, or which Modern Industrialization tier or voltage each one officially belongs to. The order above is only based on the parts each recipe needs.

How does Industrialization Overdrive work with other mods?

3 parts

Industrialization Overdrive is built on top of Modern Industrialization in this pack. All three of its machines that connect to other mods, the Multi Processing Array, the Pyrolyse Oven and the Multiblock Builder, are made from Modern Industrialization parts. You'll want your Modern Industrialization progression going before you can build any of them.[2]

Each of these items has two recipes. One is a normal shaped crafting recipe you can make at a crafting table. The other runs in the Modern Industrialization Assembler machine, so you can automate them once your factory is up and running.[2]

Multi Processing Array

The Multi Processing Array is the most demanding of the three. It needs late-game Modern Industrialization components such as the Processing Unit and Solid Titanium Machine Casing. Plan on reaching titanium-tier tech before you craft it.[2]
