Euphoria Patches in All the Mods 10

Euphoria Patches is an add-on for Complementary Shaders, covering both the Reimagined and Unbound versions. It adds more optional features and settings on top of the shader. It is developed by SpacEagle17.^[1]

It is a visual add-on, so it is for you if you run Complementary and like to tweak how it looks. If you don't use those shaders, there is nothing here for you to set up.^[1]

How it works

Every option the add-on adds is disabled by default, so nothing changes until you turn a feature on. You can enable options one at a time. There is also a Popular Settings tab and a preset profile that apply the commonly used options quickly.^[1]

In this pack

The pack includes Euphoria Patches 1.9.3-r5.8.1 for NeoForge, shipped as the file EuphoriaPatcher-1.9.3-r5.8.1-neoforge.jar. It was first included in version 2.25 or earlier of the pack.^[2]

Unverified The sources do not show any pack quests, progression gates or ATM Star path steps involving this mod, so it is not confirmed to play any part in the pack's progression. The sources also don't say whether the pack ships a Complementary shader pack for you, so check that you have one installed.

Good news: Euphoria Patches isn't a mod where you craft a starter tool or build a machine first. It's an add-on for Complementary Shaders, so your first steps happen in the shader settings, not in the crafting grid.^[1]

It works with the Reimagined and Unbound versions of Complementary Shaders. It adds optional handcrafted features and settings on top of them.^[1]

Your first steps

1. Make sure you're using one of the Complementary Shaders, either Reimagined or Unbound. Euphoria Patches extends those shaders.^[1]
2. Open the shader settings and look for the Euphoria Patches options. Every option is disabled by default, so nothing changes until you turn something on.^[1]
3. Start with the Popular Settings tab. It collects the commonly used options in one place.^[1]
4. If you'd rather not toggle things one by one, apply the preset profile. It switches on a set of commonly used options for you.^[1]
5. Turn on other options individually as you find ones you like, since each can be enabled on its own.^[1]

Unverified I couldn't confirm any in-pack recipes, items or quests for Euphoria Patches, so there are no recipe blocks here. The exact setting names and where they sit in this pack's shader menu are also unconfirmed.

This one is different from most mods you'll see on the channel. Euphoria Patches has no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation. It's an add-on for Complementary Shaders (the Reimagined and Unbound versions), so everything it does is about how your shader looks and which shader options you can turn on.^[1]

How the add-on works

Euphoria Patches expands Complementary Shaders with optional handcrafted features. You get extra settings on top of the ones the shader already has.^[1]

Every option is disabled by default. Nothing changes in your game until you switch on the features you want, and you can enable them one at a time.^[1]

Modded block support and translations

The project page says modded blocks and translation files can be added to Euphoria Patches. It points to the project's own website for how to do that, so check there if a modded block doesn't look right with the shader.^[1]

Unverified The sources don't say which Euphoria Patches options this pack enables, or whether it ships a preset. They also don't describe the individual settings in detail. Check the in-game shader settings screen to see what's available in your version.

The pack changelogs only record version bumps for Euphoria Patches, so this history is a list of which jar shipped when. The mod has been in All the Mods 10 since 2.25 or earlier, and All the Mods 10 8.1 ships version 1.9.3-r5.8.1-neoforge. That is the same version 7.1 updated to.^[2][3]

Unverified What actually changed inside each Euphoria Patches update (new shader patches, fixes, or anything else) is unverified. The pack changelogs only list the version numbers, and no changelogs for the shipped jars are available.
