What is Euphoria Patches?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Euphoria Patches is an add-on for Complementary Shaders, covering both the Reimagined and Unbound versions. It adds more optional features and settings on top of the shader. It is developed by SpacEagle17.[1]
It is a visual add-on, so it is for you if you run Complementary and like to tweak how it looks. If you don't use those shaders, there is nothing here for you to set up.[1]
How it works
Every option the add-on adds is disabled by default, so nothing changes until you turn a feature on. You can enable options one at a time. There is also a Popular Settings tab and a preset profile that apply the commonly used options quickly.[1]
In this pack
The pack includes Euphoria Patches 1.9.3-r5.8.1 for NeoForge, shipped as the file EuphoriaPatcher-1.9.3-r5.8.1-neoforge.jar. It was first included in version 2.25 or earlier of the pack.[2]
Unverified The sources do not show any pack quests, progression gates or ATM Star path steps involving this mod, so it is not confirmed to play any part in the pack's progression. The sources also don't say whether the pack ships a Complementary shader pack for you, so check that you have one installed.
How do you get started with Euphoria Patches?
1 part
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Good news: Euphoria Patches isn't a mod where you craft a starter tool or build a machine first. It's an add-on for Complementary Shaders, so your first steps happen in the shader settings, not in the crafting grid.[1]
It works with the Reimagined and Unbound versions of Complementary Shaders. It adds optional handcrafted features and settings on top of them.[1]
Your first steps
- Make sure you're using one of the Complementary Shaders, either Reimagined or Unbound. Euphoria Patches extends those shaders.[1]
- Open the shader settings and look for the Euphoria Patches options. Every option is disabled by default, so nothing changes until you turn something on.[1]
- Start with the Popular Settings tab. It collects the commonly used options in one place.[1]
- If you'd rather not toggle things one by one, apply the preset profile. It switches on a set of commonly used options for you.[1]
- Turn on other options individually as you find ones you like, since each can be enabled on its own.[1]
Unverified I couldn't confirm any in-pack recipes, items or quests for Euphoria Patches, so there are no recipe blocks here. The exact setting names and where they sit in this pack's shader menu are also unconfirmed.
How does Euphoria Patches work?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
This one is different from most mods you'll see on the channel. Euphoria Patches has no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation. It's an add-on for Complementary Shaders (the Reimagined and Unbound versions), so everything it does is about how your shader looks and which shader options you can turn on.[1]
How the add-on works
Euphoria Patches expands Complementary Shaders with optional handcrafted features. You get extra settings on top of the ones the shader already has.[1]
Every option is disabled by default. Nothing changes in your game until you switch on the features you want, and you can enable them one at a time.[1]
Modded block support and translations
The project page says modded blocks and translation files can be added to Euphoria Patches. It points to the project's own website for how to do that, so check there if a modded block doesn't look right with the shader.[1]
Unverified The sources don't say which Euphoria Patches options this pack enables, or whether it ships a preset. They also don't describe the individual settings in detail. Check the in-game shader settings screen to see what's available in your version.
What changed in Euphoria Patches between versions?
1 part
All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.4 ships Euphoria Patches 1.10.0-r5.9-neoforge, and the mod has been in the pack since 1.0 or earlier. I don't have any pack changelog entries for this mod, so I can't tell you which pack release moved it to which version. What I do have are the mod's own changelogs, and each one also notes the Complementary Shaders version it was updated to.[3]
Mod releases, newest first
- 1.10.0 (Complementary r5.9, the version in this pack): the End gets a customizable Black Hole and an End Nebula with lots of tweakable options. There is also a new "Improved LabPBR" option, which adds refraction, porosity and texture AO support. WindLink support syncs foliage, weather and particles to one wind system.[4]
- 1.10.0 mod changes: uniform uploading now works on Iris/Oculus and OptiFine. Screenshot steganography saves your shader settings invisibly in your screenshots, and you can drag and drop a screenshot into an Iris GUI to import them. Support was also added for the dragon_death_rays entity ID through the Euphoria Patcher mod.[4]
- 1.8.6 (Complementary r5.7.1): a small bugfix update on top of the 1.8.0 changes.[5]
- 1.8.0 shader changes: a much improved Epic Thunderstorms option, where clouds randomly light up. There are also new aurora settings (Scale, Swirlyness, Saturation and Dominant Layer) and all the PixelCraft features.[5]
- 1.8.0 mod changes: you can patch the other shader style after Euphoria Patches is already installed. The mod became multi-loader, which changes nothing for you as a player, and Mixin support was added for Forge.[5]
- 1.7.8 (Complementary r5.6.1): fixed CurseForge deleting the alternative shader name files when a modpack updates, by regenerating the alternative shaderpack if files were deleted. Name tags with pixelation effects were fixed again.[6]
- 1.7.2 (Complementary r5.6.1): improved the dark spots in the lava preset.[7]
- 1.6.8 (Complementary r5.5.1): fixed Oculus detection breaking when the Oculus flywheel compat mod is also installed.[8]
- 1.6.6 (Complementary r5.5.1): fixed issues when Complementary + Colorwheel were already prepatched before installing Euphoria Patches, by skipping prepatched versions. It also added an alternativeShaderNames option for generating extra shader presets after patching.[9]
- 1.6.5 (Complementary r5.5.1): fixed a game-crashing bug and improved detection of modified Complementary Shaders.[10]
The mod's changelogs also point to a full changelog on the Euphoria Patches site, which covers more changes than the highlights above.[4][5]

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as euphoria_patcher, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
