What is Enderman Overhaul?
2 parts
Enderman Overhaul reworks the endermen you already know. It adds over 20 new enderman variants, and each one has its own sounds, models and animations. Endermen stop being one repeated mob and start feeling tied to where you find them.[1]
It also overhauls the ender pearl with 8 new variations. Each one drops from a specific enderman variant, so hunting the right variant is how you get the right pearl.[1]
The 8 new pearls
- Soul pearl: dropped by the soulsand valley enderman. You can bind it to mobs to teleport them remotely.[1]
- Summoner pearl: dropped by the swamp and end islands endermen. It teleports all nearby mobs to one point.[1]
- Corrupted pearl: dropped by the end enderman. It randomly teleports enemies it hits.[1]
- Bubble pearl: dropped by the ocean enderman. It floats slowly through the air without being affected by gravity.[1]
- Warped pearl: dropped by the warped enderman. It gives you resistance when you land.[1]
- Crimson pearl: dropped by the crimson enderman. It gives you strength when you land.[1]
- Icy pearl: dropped by the ice spikes enderman. It freezes nearby enemies when it lands.[1]
- Ancient pearl: dropped by the end islands enderman. It summons pet endermen that fight for you, and you can recall them by right clicking.[1]
In this pack
The pack includes Enderman Overhaul 2.0.3, built for NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.1.[2]
Unverified The sources I have don't show any quests, ATM Star path steps, or pack-specific recipe or config changes for this mod, so I can't say where it fits in the pack's progression. Treat the pearl effects above as the mod's own description, not as confirmed pack values.
How do you get started with Enderman Overhaul?
3 parts
Enderman Overhaul adds over 20 new enderman variants, each with its own sounds, models and animations. The mod describes them as biome-specific, so which enderman you meet depends on where you are. The two crafted items below are the ones with recipes in this pack, so they are the place to start.[1][3]
Step 1: Make the Corrupted Blade
Your first craft is the Corrupted Blade. Its tooltip says it teleports targets randomly. The recipe below is the exact one in this pack, and it is the mod's own recipe, unchanged.[3][4]

Step 2: Make the Corrupted Shield
Next comes the Corrupted Shield, whose tooltip says it teleports attackers randomly. The pack changed this recipe from the mod's version, so follow the block below rather than any recipe you remember from outside the pack.[3][4]

Ender pearls to look out for
The mod also adds 8 new ender pearl variations, each dropped by a specific enderman. The ocean enderman drops the Bubble pearl, an accurate pearl with no gravity. The ice spikes enderman drops the Icy pearl, which freezes nearby targets on hit. The crimson and warped endermen drop pearls that apply Strength II and Resistance II when teleporting.[1][3]
How does Enderman Overhaul work?
3 parts
Enderman Overhaul adds over 20 enderman variants, and what the sources show is a mod about mobs and items, not machines. Its mechanics come down to the ender pearl variants those endermen drop, plus a few items tied to the Enderman Tooth. This section covers how those work.[1][3]
The pearl variants
The mod overhauls the ender pearl with 8 new variations. Each one drops from a specific enderman variant, so you unlock them by hunting the right biome's enderman.[1]
- Soul pearl: dropped by the soulsand valley enderman. Crouch-right-click to bind an entity, and the bound entity is teleported to the target location. That lets you move mobs remotely.[1][3]
- Summoner pearl: dropped by the swamp and end islands endermen. It teleports nearby targets on hit, and the project page describes it as sending all nearby mobs to one point.[1][3]
- Corrupted pearl: dropped by the end enderman. It teleports hit targets to a random location.[1][3]
- Bubble pearl: dropped by the ocean enderman. It's an accurate ender pearl with no gravity, so it floats through the air slowly.[1][3]
- Warped pearl: dropped by the warped enderman. It applies Resistance II when teleporting.[1][3]
- Crimson pearl: dropped by the crimson enderman. It applies Strength II when teleporting.[1][3]
- Icy pearl: dropped by the ice spikes enderman. It freezes nearby targets on hit.[1][3]
- Ancient pearl: dropped by the end islands enderman. It summons a friendly enderman to fight for you. Crouch-right-click a summoned enderman to retrieve the pearl.[1][3]
Corrupted gear
The Corrupted Blade teleports its targets randomly. It is crafted with an Enderman Tooth, and the recipe below shows exactly how.[3][4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: endermanoverhaul:corrupted_blade
The Corrupted Shield works the other way around and teleports attackers randomly. The pack changed this recipe, so don't rely on the mod's default one.[3][4]

Looking at endermen safely
The mod also has a hood. Wearing it lets you look at endermen without angering them.[3]
How do you progress through Enderman Overhaul?
2 parts
Enderman Overhaul doesn't have a long tier ladder in this pack. The only gear the pack's recipes confirm is the Corrupted Blade and the Corrupted Shield. Both are shaped crafting recipes built around the Enderman Tooth.[4]
Corrupted Blade
The Corrupted Blade uses the mod's own recipe, so the pack hasn't changed it. Here is the exact in-pack recipe:[4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: endermanoverhaul:corrupted_blade
This is the mod's own recipe, unchanged by the pack.
Corrupted Shield
The Corrupted Shield recipe has been changed by the pack, so don't rely on the mod's default recipe from other guides. Use the recipe below, which is the one that works here.[4]

Unverified The sources here do not show any quest chapter that covers Enderman Overhaul, so the quest book's placement of this mod is not confirmed. Upgrade steps and exact drop sources for the Enderman Tooth are also not shown, so treat the recipes above as the verified progression.
What changed in Enderman Overhaul between versions?
The sources I have for Enderman Overhaul only cover a couple of version points, so this is a short history rather than a full changelog.[2][5]
- Enderman Overhaul was already in the pack by All the Mods 10 2.25 or earlier, which is the earliest point the pack data shows it.[2]
- In All the Mods 10 6.0, the pack updated the mod from 2.0.2 to 2.0.3.[5]
- All the Mods 10 8.1 ships Enderman Overhaul 2.0.3, the NeoForge build for Minecraft 1.21.1. That means the mod has stayed on the same version since the 6.0 update.[2][5]
