What is Chisel Reborn?
1 part
Same as in the FTB StoneBlock 4 1.21.0 guide
Chisel Reborn adds lots of blocks that are variations of vanilla blocks. If you like building bases with a bit more style than plain stone and dirt, this is the mod for you. It's a decorative, building-focused mod, so it's all about how your base looks rather than machines or power.[1]
This pack includes Chisel Reborn 1.4.1, built for NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.1. It has been part of the pack since 1.21.0 or earlier.[2]
Where it fits in progression
Chisel Reborn isn't tied to any quest in this pack, and it isn't on the ATM Star path. You won't be pushed toward it, so treat it as an optional extra you pick up whenever you want to polish your builds.[2]
Unverified The sources I have don't cover the chisel's GUI, the exact block variants available, or the in-pack recipes for the mod's items. Check in-game (for example in the recipe viewer) before you plan around specific blocks or crafting. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you get started with Chisel Reborn?
2 parts
Chisel Reborn adds lots of blocks that are variations of vanilla blocks, so it's a building and decoration mod. The first thing you need is the tool that gives it its name.[1]
Step 1: Make the Chisel
Start with the Chisel. This pack changed the recipe from the mod's own, so follow the one below rather than any recipe you remember from elsewhere.[3]
Crafting Shaped
| Empty slot | any iron ingot |
| Empty slot |
Recipe id: chisel:chisel
Changed by the pack.
Step 2: Get raw stone blocks from Mystical Agriculture essences
If you already grow Mystical Agriculture essences, there are recipes that turn them into raw basalt, raw limestone and raw marble blocks from Chisel Reborn. That gives you these building stones without having to hunt for them.[3]
Shaped No Mirror (cucumber)

Recipe id: mysticalagriculture:essence/chisel/basalt
Basalt essence into raw basalt.

Recipe id: mysticalagriculture:essence/chisel/limestone
Limestone essence into raw limestone.

Recipe id: mysticalagriculture:essence/chisel/marble
Marble essence into raw marble.
Unverified How the chiseling screen works, which blocks can be chiseled and what variations they turn into in this pack could not be confirmed from the available sources.
How does Chisel Reborn work?
3 parts
Here's the honest version: Chisel Reborn is a decorative mod, and the material I have for this pack doesn't describe any machines, multiblocks, power, fluid or item handling for it. Its project page sums it up as a mod that adds lots of blocks that are variations of vanilla blocks.[1]
That means there is no automation setup to build here. What the sources do cover is how you get your hands on the tool and a few of the blocks.[1][3]
The Chisel
The tool at the center of the mod is the Chisel. Heads up: the pack changed its crafting recipe, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults. This is the exact in-pack recipe:[3]
Crafting Shaped
| Empty slot | any iron ingot |
| Empty slot |
Recipe id: chisel:chisel
Changed by the pack.
Raw stone blocks from Mystical Agriculture
The pack also has recipes from Mystical Agriculture that produce Chisel Reborn's raw basalt, raw limestone and raw marble blocks. Here are the three recipes:[3]
Shaped No Mirror (cucumber)

Block variations
The mod's language file shows that it includes blocks such as Reinforced Cobble Dirt and Reinforced Cobble Stone. That is only a sample of the block names, not a full list of what the mod adds.[4]
Unverified How the chisel's GUI works, how variants are selected and switched, and how many variants each block has are not explained in the sources I was given, so I can't confirm them. The mod's config options for this pack are also unavailable.
How do you progress through Chisel Reborn?
1 part
Chisel Reborn has a very short progression path in this pack. The recipe dump shows a single tool, the Chisel, and no tiers of tools or machines to climb.[3]
Step 1: Craft the Chisel
The pack changed the Chisel recipe from the mod's default, so use the in-pack recipe below rather than anything you remember from other modpacks. It is a shaped crafting recipe, and the iron part accepts any ingot from the shared iron ingot tag, so whichever iron ingot you have will work.[3]
Crafting Shaped
| Empty slot | any iron ingot |
| Empty slot |
Recipe id: chisel:chisel
In-pack recipe, changed by the pack.
The sources I have only cover how the Chisel is made. Anything beyond that, such as how it is used on blocks or whether further recipes build on it, is not covered here.[3]
How does Chisel Reborn work with other mods?
The one connection I can confirm in the recipe data is with Mystical Agriculture. The pack has three recipes from that mod that turn its Basalt Essence, Limestone Essence and Marble Essence into the matching raw stone blocks from Chisel Reborn.[3]
These recipes belong to Mystical Agriculture's own recipe set, so they are listed under its namespace rather than Chisel's. Here they are as the pack renders them.[3]
Shaped No Mirror (cucumber)

Recipe id: mysticalagriculture:essence/chisel/marble

Unverified I found no other in-pack recipes that connect Chisel Reborn with other mods, so any further integrations are unconfirmed.
What changed in Chisel Reborn between versions?
1 part
All the Mods 10 0.52 ships Chisel Reborn 1.8.1, the NeoForge build for 1.21.1. The mod has been in the pack since 0.32 or earlier, so it isn't a recent addition.[5]
Chisel Reborn 1.8.1
The pack changelogs have no entries for this mod, so I can't point to a specific pack release where anything about Chisel Reborn changed. The mod's own changelog entries above are the only notable changes I have for it.[5]
