AE2 Import Export Card in All the Mods 10

AE2 Import Export Card adds an Import card, an Export card and a Block Picker card for Applied Energistics 2. You use the Import and Export cards through your wireless terminal to move items between your inventory and your ME system.^[1]

This pack ships version 1.21.1-1.6.0 of the mod, and it has been in the pack since 2.25 or earlier.^[2]

What the cards do

• Import card: takes items from specific slots of your inventory and dumps them into your ME system. Click a slot to make a checkmark, and drag items to the top to change the filter. Fuzzy cards are supported, and switching the filter to a blacklist needs an inverter card.^[1]
• Export card: works the same way, but pulls items from your ME system into your inventory. Drag an item into one of the top slots, then click a slot in your inventory to set the amount you want. Right clicking clears it back to X.^[1]
• Block Picker card: aim at the block you are currently looking at and press the Pick Block keybind. If a matching block is available in your network, it is extracted into your inventory.^[1]

Setting it up

Open your wireless terminal and put the Import or Export card in the slot on the right. To configure it, click one of the buttons on the left side.^[1]

The Export card works with extra upgrades too. Fuzzy cards are supported, an acceleration card improves the transfer speed from 1 to an entire stack of items, and a crafting card automatically requests and crafts items that are currently not available.^[1]

Unverified The sources here do not show where this mod sits in the pack's quest book, or whether the ATM Star path uses it. Check the quest book in game for any chapter that mentions it.

According to the mod's project page, AE2 Import Export Card adds an Import card and an Export card for Applied Energistics 2, and you use them from your wireless terminal. In this pack there are two cards to craft, and this is the order I'd go in.^[1]

Make the Import Card

Start with the Import Card. The mod's project page says it takes items in specific slots of your inventory and dumps them into your ME system.^[1][3]

Make the Export Card

Next comes the Export Card. The project page says it works the same way but pulls items from your ME system into your inventory.^[1][3]

Put a card in your wireless terminal

1. Open your wireless terminal and add the Import or Export card in the slot on the right.^[1]
2. To configure the card, click one of the buttons on the left side.^[1]
3. Clicking on slots makes a checkmark.^[1]
4. Import card: drag items from your inventory to the top to change the filter.^[1]
5. Export card: drag an item from your inventory into one of the slots at the top, then click on a slot in your inventory to change it to the desired number. Right clicking clears it back to X.^[1]

Cards that go with them

• Fuzzy card: the project page says it is supported by both the Import and Export cards.^[1]
• Inverter card: changing the filter to blacklist requires it, according to the project page.^[1]
• Acceleration card: on the Export card, the project page says it improves the transfer speed from 1 to an entire stack of items.^[1]
• Crafting card: on the Export card, the project page says it is used to automatically request and craft items that are currently not available.^[1]

Block Picker card

The project page also describes a Block Picker card. You aim at a block and press the "Pick Block" keybind, and if the matching block is available in your network, it is extracted into your inventory. The block it picks is the one you are currently looking at.^[1]

This mod doesn't add machines or multiblocks. As its project page describes it, the mod adds cards for Applied Energistics 2 that work through your wireless terminal and move items between your player inventory and your ME system. Here's how they work.^[1]

Setting up a card

1. The project page says to open your wireless terminal and add the Import Card or Export Card in the slot on the right.^[1][3]
2. To configure a card, click one of the buttons on the left side.^[1]
3. Clicking on slots makes a checkmark. The Import card takes items from specific slots of your inventory.^[1]

Import Card

As the project page describes it, the Import Card takes items in specific slots of your inventory and dumps them into your ME system. To change the filter, drag items from your inventory to the top.^[1][3]

The project page says a fuzzy card is supported, and that changing the filter to a blacklist requires an inverter card.^[1]

Export Card

The project page says the Export Card works exactly the same way, but pulls items from your ME system into your inventory. To specify what items, drag an item from your inventory into one of the slots at the top, then click a slot in your inventory to change it to the desired number. Right clicking clears it back to X.^[1]

Two upgrade cards change how the Export Card behaves. An acceleration card improves the transfer speed from 1 item to an entire stack. A crafting card automatically requests and crafts items that aren't currently available in your network. Fuzzy cards are supported here too.^[1]

Block Picker card

The mod's project page also describes a Block Picker card. You aim at a block and press the "Pick Block" keybind. If the matching block is available in your network, the block you are currently looking at is extracted into your inventory.^[1]

Crafting in this pack

The pack changes the recipes for both cards compared with the mod's own. Use these recipes, not what you may remember from the mod's page.^[3]

Unverified The mod has no config files in this pack, and no in-jar guide or tooltips were available. Details such as transfer timing, how the cards interact with wireless terminal power, and the exact speed without an acceleration card are unverified.

There is no tier ladder for this mod in the pack. It adds two items, the Import Card and the Export Card, and the recipe data shows one crafting recipe for each.^[3]

The pack changed both recipes, so don't rely on the mod's default recipes or on guides written for other setups. Both are shaped crafting recipes, and the blocks below show the exact in-pack versions.^[3]

The two recipes follow the same pattern, so once you can craft one card you can craft the other from the same kind of parts.^[3]

This mod is an add-on for Applied Energistics 2, so its integration is with AE2. The Import Card and Export Card are both crafted from AE2 components, and the pack has changed both recipes. Don't rely on a recipe you remember from outside the pack.^[1][3]

Import Card

The Import Card takes items from specific slots of your inventory and dumps them into your ME system. Its recipe uses the ME Import Bus as one of its AE2 parts.^[1][3]

Using AE2 parts with the cards

You use the cards in your AE2 wireless terminal. Put the Import or Export card in the slot on the right, then click one of the buttons on the left side to configure it.^[1]

• A fuzzy card is supported on both the Import and Export cards.^[1]
• Switching the Import filter to a blacklist requires an inverter card.^[1]
• On the Export card, an acceleration card raises the transfer speed from 1 item to an entire stack.^[1]
• On the Export card, a crafting card automatically requests and crafts items that are currently not available.^[1]

The sources only show which version of AE2 Import Export Card the pack shipped in each release. They don't say what changed inside the mod, so this is a version timeline and not a feature changelog. The mod has been in All the Mods 10 since release 2.25 or earlier, and 8.1 ships version 1.21.1-1.6.0.^[2]

Pack updates to the mod

• All the Mods 10 4.15: updated from 1.21-1.4.0 to 1.21.1-1.4.1. This build is labelled 1.21.1 where the previous one was labelled 1.21.^[4]
