What is Sophisticated Backpacks?
1 part
Sophisticated Backpacks adds upgradable Backpacks that can use filters to add some really handy features. You can wear a backpack in your Curios Back slot, and you can dye it. This pack includes version 3.26.2 of the mod, and it has been in the pack since version 1.0 or earlier.[1][2]
Where it sits in the quest book
The mod lives in the "Basic Storage" chapter, which the quest book describes as the basic ways to store items without needing power. Its entry quest is "Sophisticated Backpacks" quest, titled "Inventories are too Small", and it asks you for a Backpack. The quest list shows no earlier quest that it follows.[2]
After that first quest, the book branches in a few directions:[2]
- The backpack tiers run in a line: "Copper Backpack" quest (the Copper Backpack), then "Iron Backpack" quest (the Iron Backpack), "Gold Backpack" quest (the Gold Backpack), "Diamond Backpack" quest (the Diamond Backpack) and finally "Netherite Backpack" quest (the Netherite Backpack). The Iron Backpack quest follows both the first backpack quest and the Copper Backpack quest.[2]
- a quest in "Basic Storage" asks for the Upgrade Base, which the quest says you need to make Backpack Upgrades. It follows the first backpack quest, and most of the basic upgrade quests, such as a quest in "Basic Storage" and a quest in "Basic Storage", come after it.[2]
- The "Advanced" upgrade quests each follow their basic version. For example, "Advanced Filter Upgrade" quest comes after a quest in "Basic Storage". "Experience Pump Upgrade" quest follows "Advanced Pump Upgrade" quest.[2]
- The stack upgrades form their own chain: "Stack Upgrade Tier 1" quest comes after the Upgrade Base quest, then "Stack Upgrade Tier 2" quest, "Stack Upgrade Tier 3" quest and "Stack Upgrade Tier 4" quest follow one after another, raising stack size in the Backpack by 2, 4, 8 and 16.[2]
Unverified Whether the ATM Star path uses this mod is not shown by the sources here, so check the quest book for that. Also, the text of 38 of the 94 quests in the "Basic Storage" chapter is not included in these sources, so the rest of that chapter is in the quest book itself.
How do you get started with Sophisticated Backpacks?
3 parts
Welcome to the backpack setup! Everything starts with the Backpack, the first quest in the Basic Storage chapter ("Sophisticated Backpacks" quest). It's an upgradable pack that can use filters for handy features. You can wear it in your Curios Back slot, and you can dye it.[2]

Tier up the backpack
Next comes the Copper Backpack. The quest calls it "The First Upgrade" ("Copper Backpack" quest), and it unlocks right after the plain Backpack quest. You make it by upgrading your plain Backpack.[2][3]

Get the Upgrade Base
The Upgrade Base has its own quest (a quest in "Basic Storage"), which says you need these to make Backpack Upgrades. Every basic upgrade quest in the chapter unlocks after it. Many upgrade recipes in the pack use it as an ingredient, including the Crafting, Filter, Deposit and Compacting upgrades.[2][3]
Your first upgrades
Once you have some Upgrade Bases, these are good early picks, based on what the quests say they do:[2]
- Pickup Upgrade lets the backpack pick up items, and Magnet Upgrade magnets items into it.[2]
- Deposit Upgrade empties the backpack into an inventory when you Shift-Right Click it.[2]
- Crafting Upgrade adds a Crafting Table GUI to the backpack.[2]
- Filter Upgrade adds a filter for items being pumped in or out of the backpack.[2]

How does Sophisticated Backpacks work?
8 parts
Sophisticated Backpacks is a storage mod where almost everything is driven by the backpack tier you carry and the upgrades you slot into it. The systems live inside the backpack, and the pack's server config decides how each one behaves. Here is how it all fits together.[5]
Backpack tiers
Each tier has its own inventory size and number of upgrade slots. In this pack every tier is left at the mod default, and each value can be changed in the server config.[5]
- Leather: 27 inventory slots and 1 upgrade slot (server.leatherBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.leatherBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
- Copper: 45 inventory slots and 1 upgrade slot (server.copperBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.copperBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
- Iron: 54 inventory slots and 2 upgrade slots (server.ironBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.ironBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
- Gold: 81 inventory slots and 3 upgrade slots (server.goldBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.goldBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
- Diamond: 108 inventory slots and 5 upgrade slots (server.diamondBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.diamondBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
- Netherite: 120 inventory slots and 7 upgrade slots (server.netheriteBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.netheriteBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
You start with the Backpack, and the pack has changed its recipe. The recipes for the Copper Backpack and for the Netherite Backpack, the step up from the Diamond Backpack, are changed by the pack too. The recipe blocks below show the exact in-pack versions.[3]

Upgrade slots and limits
Upgrades are built from the Upgrade Base, and the pack has changed that recipe too. Some upgrade types are capped per backpack by server.maxUpgradesPerStorage: 3 stack upgrades, 1 jukebox upgrade and 1 furnace upgrade.[3][5]

A few upgrades are also limited by the mod itself. You can only have one Everlasting Upgrade, one Inception Upgrade, one Tool Swapper Upgrade and one Mob Catcher Upgrade in a backpack. The Inception Upgrade only goes into a top level backpack, and you can't remove it while there are backpacks inside.[4]
With an Inception Upgrade, upgrades can work with the inventories of backpacks stored inside the main one, and upgrades in those inner backpacks stay functional. This pack leaves both behaviours on (server.inceptionUpgrade.upgradesUseInventoriesOfBackpacksInBackpack, server.inceptionUpgrade.upgradesInContainedBackpacksAreFunctional). The upgrade's settings let you choose whether the main backpack or the inner ones are used first.[4][5]
Every upgrade has an ON/OFF switch, and the game tells you when you flip one.[4]
Filters
Most automation upgrades use filter slots to decide which items they touch. The basic Filter Upgrade has 9 filter slots and its advanced version has 16 (server.filterUpgrade.filterSlots, server.advancedFilterUpgrade.filterSlots). Here is how the others compare, basic version first.[5]
- Deposit: 9 and 16 (server.depositUpgrade.filterSlots, server.advancedDepositUpgrade.filterSlots).[5]
- Feeding: 9 and 16 (server.feedingUpgrade.filterSlots, server.advancedFeedingUpgrade.filterSlots).[5]
- Pickup: 9 and 16 (server.pickupUpgrade.filterSlots, server.advancedPickupUpgrade.filterSlots).[5]
- Magnet: 9 and 16 (server.magnetUpgrade.filterSlots, server.advancedMagnetUpgrade.filterSlots).[5]
- Restock: 9 and 16 (server.restockUpgrade.filterSlots, server.advancedRestockUpgrade.filterSlots).[5]
- Void: 9 and 16 (server.voidUpgrade.filterSlots, server.advancedVoidUpgrade.filterSlots).[5]
- Compacting: 9 and 16 (server.compactingUpgrade.filterSlots, server.advancedCompactingUpgrade.filterSlots).[5]
- Refill: 6 and 12 (server.refillUpgrade.filterSlots, server.advancedRefillUpgrade.filterSlots).[5]
The Deposit upgrade can filter by matching the contents of the inventory it deposits into, and the Refill upgrade lets you scroll to choose a target slot such as any slot, a specific hotbar slot, main hand or off hand. The Restock and Deposit upgrades report how many stacks they moved.[4]
Magnets and range
The magnet pulls in items within a set range around you. The basic Magnet upgrade reaches 3 blocks and the advanced one reaches 5 (server.magnetUpgrade.magnetRange, server.advancedMagnetUpgrade.magnetRange).[5]
Cooking upgrades
The smelting, smoking and blasting upgrades each have a smelting speed multiplier and a fuel efficiency multiplier. The pack sets these to 1, the mod default, and 1.0 matches how a vanilla furnace works. The allowed range is 0.25 to 4.0 (server.smeltingUpgrade.smeltingSpeedMultiplier, server.smeltingUpgrade.fuelEfficiencyMultiplier).[5]
The auto versions add filters on top. The Auto-smelting Upgrade has 8 input filter slots and 4 fuel filter slots (server.autoSmeltingUpgrade.inputFilterSlots, server.autoSmeltingUpgrade.fuelFilterSlots), and the auto-smoking and auto-blasting upgrades have the same numbers. The pack lets you turn an Auto-smelting Upgrade into an Auto-smoking Upgrade.[3][5]

Fluids, energy and XP
The tank upgrade holds 4,000 mB per row of storage slots (server.tankUpgrade.capacityPerSlotRow), and its battery side holds 10,000 FE per row (server.tankUpgrade.energyPerSlotRow). Both scale with the number of rows and with the stack multiplier.[5]
Energy transfer starts from a base of 20 per operation, which is also scaled by rows and the stack multiplier (server.tankUpgrade.maxInputOutput). Tanks fill or drain fluid containers in their slots one bucket at a time, with a cooldown value of 20 between actions (server.tankUpgrade.autoFillDrainContainerCooldown).[5]
The pump upgrade moves 20 mB per operation, scaled the same way, and it has 4 fluid filter slots (server.pumpUpgrade.maxInputOutput, server.pumpUpgrade.filterSlots).[5]
The backpack's item fluid handler is on in this pack. The config notes that it can cause dupe bugs when a backpack in item form is filled or drained by another mod's tank, so that is the thing to watch for in tank setups (server.itemFluidHandlerEnabled).[5]
The XP pump can mend items with Mending, and that is on here. It uses at most 5 experience points per operation (server.xpPumpUpgrade.mendingOn, server.xpPumpUpgrade.maxXpPointsPerMending).[5]
Mob Catcher
The Mob Catcher Upgrade captures mobs into the backpack's inventory. A captured mob takes up a block of empty slots, and the game tells you if there is no empty area of the needed size, or if the mob needs more slots than the upgrade allows. Hostile mobs and captured mobs need the Advanced Mob Catcher Upgrade. Bosses, players, mobs with inventories, and mobs with passengers or vehicles can't be captured. Only the owner can capture a mob, and you have to release captured mobs before removing the upgrade.[4]

Carrying and sharing rules
- Other players can't open your worn backpack, because server.allowOpeningOtherPlayerBackpacks is false in this pack.[5]
- Carrying too many backpacks doesn't slow you down here, because server.nerfs.tooManyBackpacksSlowness is off. If it is turned on, the limit is 3 backpacks, set by server.nerfs.maxNumberOfBackpacks.[5]
- Backpacks can't be placed in container items, because server.canBePlacedInContainerItems is false.[5]
- Bundles and every colour of shulker box don't stack in backpacks even with stack upgrades (server.stackUpgrade.nonStackableItems).[5]
- The pack doesn't block any items or blocks through server.disallowedItems, server.noConnectionBlocks or server.noInteractionBlocks, since those lists are all empty.[5]
Mobs can also spawn wearing backpacks, with a 0.01 chance, and they drop one with a 0.5 chance when a player kills them. Those mobs can get extra loot, health, potion effects and armor scaled to the backpack tier (server.entityBackpackAdditions.chance, server.entityBackpackAdditions.backpackDropChance).[5]
How do you progress through Sophisticated Backpacks?
4 parts
Everything here follows the Basic Storage quest chapter. It starts with "Sophisticated Backpacks" quest, where you get your first Backpack. The quest says backpacks can sit in your Curios Back slot and can be dyed. Every recipe shown in the pack's recipe dump for this mod is flagged as changed by the pack, so use the recipes on this page rather than what you remember from the mod's defaults.[2][3]

Upgrade Base and basic upgrades
a quest in "Basic Storage" asks for the Upgrade Base, which the quest says you need to make backpack upgrades. Almost every basic upgrade quest hangs off it. Here are the basic upgrades and what the quest text says they do:[2]
- Deposit Upgrade: Shift-Right Click an inventory to empty your backpack into it.[2]
- Restock Upgrade: a filter that tells the backpack which items to keep stocked. Shift right-clicking an inventory refills it.[2]
- Pickup Upgrade and Magnet Upgrade: the first lets the backpack pick up items, the second magnets items into it.[2]
- Refill Upgrade and Feeding Upgrade: the first keeps your inventory stacked up from items in the backpack, the second auto-feeds you with food from it.[2]
- Tool Swapper Upgrade: auto-swaps to the most effective tool for the block you are looking at.[2]
- Void Upgrade and Filter Upgrade: the Void Upgrade adds a filter for items to auto-delete, and the Filter Upgrade adds a filter for items pumped in or out.[2]
- Compacting Upgrade: compacts items in the backpack to their 2x2 recipe.[2]
- Tank Upgrade, Pump Upgrade and Battery Upgrade: the quests describe a tank, the ability to pump liquids from the Tank Upgrade, and a battery.[2]
- Crafting Upgrade, Smelting Upgrade, Blasting Upgrade, Smoking Upgrade, Stonecutter Upgrade and Jukebox Upgrade: these add the matching crafting table, furnace, blast furnace, smoker, stonecutter or jukebox GUI to the backpack.[2]
- Everlasting Upgrade: the quest says this makes the backpack unable to die.[2]
- Inception Upgrade: lets you put a backpack inside a backpack.[2]
There is also one quest for the Chipped workbench upgrades. It accepts any one of the seven, for example Chipped: Mason Table Upgrade or Chipped: Glassblower Upgrade. The quest says they add crafting GUIs for Chipped workbenches to your backpack.[2][3]
If you already have a Smelting Upgrade, the pack has recipes that convert it into the Blasting Upgrade or the Smoking Upgrade, so you don't have to start from scratch.[3]

Most basic upgrades have a next-tier version. Quests such as "Advanced Filter Upgrade" quest, "Advanced Magnet Upgrade" quest, "Advanced Restock Upgrade" quest and "Advanced Void Upgrade" quest are all labelled "More Filtering Options" and unlock after the matching basic upgrade quest. Each advanced recipe takes the basic upgrade as its starting point, and the recipe dump marks them as changed by the pack.[2][3]

How does Sophisticated Backpacks work with other mods?
2 parts
In this pack, Sophisticated Backpacks is linked to Chipped and Sophisticated Storage through crafting recipes. The recipes below are all marked as changed by the pack, so they are the pack's own versions and not mod defaults.[3]
Chipped workbench upgrades
Seven backpack upgrades each wrap one Chipped workbench: Chipped: Alchemy Bench Upgrade (from Alchemy Bench), Chipped: Botanist's Workbench Upgrade (from Botanist Workbench), Chipped: Carpenters Workbench Upgrade (from Carpenters Table), Chipped: Glassblower Upgrade (from Glassblower), Chipped: Loom Table Upgrade (from Loom Table), Chipped: Mason Table Upgrade (from Mason Table) and Chipped: Tinkering Table Upgrade (from Tinkering Table). Every one also builds on the Upgrade Base.[2][3]

Swapping upgrades with Sophisticated Storage
The pack adds recipes in both directions between backpack upgrades and their Sophisticated Storage twins. There are 39 recipes that turn a Storage upgrade into the Backpack version, and 39 that turn a Backpack upgrade into the Storage version. Examples include the Filter Upgrade, the Jukebox Upgrade and the Advanced Magnet Upgrade, and the Chipped upgrades are covered too.[3]

Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Sophisticated Backpacks?
4 parts
Every Sophisticated Backpacks quest in this pack sits in a single chapter, Basic Storage. Each quest's task is just the item itself, so you progress by getting that backpack or upgrade. The chapter splits into a backpack-tier line, a big fan of upgrades, and a few follow-ups that unlock after those.[2]
Start here: backpacks
The chapter opens with "Sophisticated Backpacks" quest, which asks for the Backpack. The quest text says backpacks can go in your Curios Back slot and can be dyed.[2]
Two quests unlock straight after that one: "Copper Backpack" quest for the Copper Backpack, and a quest in "Basic Storage" for the Upgrade Base, which the quest says you need to make backpack upgrades.[2]
- "Iron Backpack" quest: the Iron Backpack, available once you have finished the first quest and the Copper Backpack quest.[2]
- "Gold Backpack" quest: the Gold Backpack, after the Iron Backpack.[2]
- "Diamond Backpack" quest: the Diamond Backpack, after the Gold Backpack.[2]
- "Netherite Backpack" quest: the Netherite Backpack, after the Diamond Backpack.[2]
Basic upgrades
Once you finish the Upgrade Base quest, all the basic upgrade quests open up at once, so you can take them in any order. Here is what each one asks for:[2]
- Storage and handling: a quest in "Basic Storage" (Deposit Upgrade, Shift-Right Click an inventory to empty), a quest in "Basic Storage" (Everlasting Upgrade, so the backpack can't die) and a quest in "Basic Storage" (Inception Upgrade, a backpack inside a backpack).[2]
- Collecting items: a quest in "Basic Storage" (Pickup Upgrade) and a quest in "Basic Storage" (Magnet Upgrade).[2]
- Filtering and keeping stacks full: a quest in "Basic Storage" (Filter Upgrade), a quest in "Basic Storage" (Refill Upgrade), a quest in "Basic Storage" (Restock Upgrade) and a quest in "Basic Storage" (Void Upgrade, an auto-delete filter).[2]
- Fluids and power: a quest in "Basic Storage" (Tank Upgrade), a quest in "Basic Storage" (Pump Upgrade, which pumps liquids from the Tank Upgrade) and a quest in "Basic Storage" (Battery Upgrade).[2]
- Crafting and processing GUIs: a quest in "Basic Storage" (Crafting Upgrade), a quest in "Basic Storage" (Stonecutter Upgrade), a quest in "Basic Storage" (Smelting Upgrade), a quest in "Basic Storage" (Blasting Upgrade) and a quest in "Basic Storage" (Smoking Upgrade).[2]
- Utility: a quest in "Basic Storage" (Compacting Upgrade, compacts to the 2x2 recipe), a quest in "Basic Storage" (Feeding Upgrade), a quest in "Basic Storage" (Tool Swapper Upgrade) and a quest in "Basic Storage" (Jukebox Upgrade).[2]
- a quest in "Basic Storage" accepts any one of the Chipped upgrades: Chipped: Botanist's Workbench Upgrade, Chipped: Glassblower Upgrade, Chipped: Carpenters Workbench Upgrade, Chipped: Loom Table Upgrade, Chipped: Mason Table Upgrade, Chipped: Alchemy Bench Upgrade or Chipped: Tinkering Table Upgrade.[2]
Stack upgrades
The stack upgrades form their own chain. "Stack Upgrade Tier 1" quest (Stack Upgrade Tier 1) opens after the Upgrade Base quest. Then come "Stack Upgrade Tier 2" quest (Stack Upgrade Tier 2), "Stack Upgrade Tier 3" quest (Stack Upgrade Tier 3) and "Stack Upgrade Tier 4" quest (Stack Upgrade Tier 4). The quest texts say these increase stack size in the backpack by 2, 4, 8 and 16 respectively.[2]
Advanced and automatic upgrades
Most basic upgrades have a follow-up quest that unlocks after you finish the basic one. The Advanced Filter, Advanced Pump, Advanced Deposit, Advanced Pickup, Advanced Magnet, Advanced Refill, Advanced Restock, Advanced Void, Advanced Feeding and Advanced Tool Swapper quests are all subtitled "More Filtering Options". Advanced Compacting carries that subtitle too, and its text says it compacts to the 3x3 recipe.[2]
- "Advanced Filter Upgrade" quest (Advanced Filter Upgrade) follows the Filter Upgrade quest, and "Advanced Pump Upgrade" quest (Advanced Pump Upgrade) follows the Pump Upgrade quest.[2]
- "Advanced Deposit Upgrade" quest (Advanced Deposit Upgrade), "Advanced Pickup Upgrade" quest (Advanced Pickup Upgrade) and "Advanced Magnet Upgrade" quest (Advanced Magnet Upgrade) follow Deposit, Pickup and Magnet.[2]
- "Advanced Refill Upgrade" quest (Advanced Refill Upgrade), "Advanced Restock Upgrade" quest (Advanced Restock Upgrade), "Advanced Void Upgrade" quest (Advanced Void Upgrade), "Advanced Feeding Upgrade" quest (Advanced Feeding upgrade) and "Advanced Tool Swapper Upgrade" quest (Advanced Tool Swapper Upgrade) follow Refill, Restock, Void, Feeding and Tool Swapper.[2]
- "Advanced Compacting Upgrade" quest (Advanced Compacting Upgrade) follows the Compacting Upgrade quest.[2]
- The "Automatic" quests are "Auto-Smelting Upgrade" quest (Auto-smelting Upgrade), "Auto-Blasting Upgrade" quest (Auto-blasting Upgrade) and "Auto-Smoking Upgrade" quest (Auto-smoking Upgrade). They follow the Smelting, Blasting and Smoking upgrade quests.[2]
- The last quest in the chapter is "Experience Pump Upgrade" quest (Experience Pump Upgrade), subtitled "Storing XP". It unlocks after the Advanced Pump Upgrade quest, and its text says it pumps experience between you and the backpack.[2]
Which Sophisticated Backpacks config options matter?
4 parts
Good news first: every numeric option in this pack's Sophisticated Backpacks server config that lists a mod default is set to exactly that default. I can't see any numeric value the pack changed, so what you see below is effectively the standard mod behaviour. Options that are plain true/false or lists don't show a mod default in the file, so I can't say whether the pack touched them.[5]
Backpack sizes
Each tier has its own inventory and upgrade slot count. These are the values in this pack:[5]
- Leather: 27 inventory slots and 1 upgrade slot (server.leatherBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.leatherBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
- Copper: 45 inventory slots and 1 upgrade slot (server.copperBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.copperBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
- Iron: 54 inventory slots and 2 upgrade slots (server.ironBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.ironBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
- Gold: 81 inventory slots and 3 upgrade slots (server.goldBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.goldBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
- Diamond: 108 inventory slots and 5 upgrade slots (server.diamondBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.diamondBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
- Netherite: 120 inventory slots and 7 upgrade slots (server.netheriteBackpack.inventorySlotCount, server.netheriteBackpack.upgradeSlotCount).[5]
Upgrade limits and carrying rules
- server.maxUpgradesPerStorage caps each backpack at 3 stack upgrades, 1 jukebox upgrade and 1 furnace upgrade.[5]
- server.nerfs.tooManyBackpacksSlowness is false, so carrying lots of backpacks does not slow you down here. The related server.nerfs.maxNumberOfBackpacks value is 3, but it only matters if the slowness option is turned on.[5]
- server.nerfs.onlyWornBackpackTriggersUpgrades is false, so active upgrades like magnet, pickup, cooking and feeding are not limited to the backpack you're wearing.[5]
- server.allowOpeningOtherPlayerBackpacks is false, so you can't right-click another player's worn backpack to open it. The config notes that turning it off disables the capability for everyone.[5]
Upgrade tuning
- Magnet range is 3 blocks for the basic upgrade (server.magnetUpgrade.magnetRange) and 5 blocks for the advanced one (server.advancedMagnetUpgrade.magnetRange).[5]
- Tank upgrades hold 4,000 mB per row of storage slots (server.tankUpgrade.capacityPerSlotRow), and the battery side holds 10,000 FE per row (server.tankUpgrade.energyPerSlotRow).[5]
- Smelting, blasting and smoking upgrades, including the auto versions, all run at a speed multiplier of 1, which matches a vanilla furnace. Fuel efficiency is also 1 (for example server.smeltingUpgrade.smeltingSpeedMultiplier).[5]
- The XP pump can mend items (server.xpPumpUpgrade.mendingOn is true), using at most 5 XP points per operation (server.xpPumpUpgrade.maxXpPointsPerMending).[5]
- Void upgrades allow voiding anything rather than only overflow (server.voidUpgrade.voidAnythingEnabled is true). Be careful with filters.[5]
Mobs wearing backpacks
Mobs can spawn wearing backpacks. The spawn chance is 0.01 (server.entityBackpackAdditions.chance), and a mob drops its backpack 0.5 of the time when you kill it (server.entityBackpackAdditions.backpackDropChance). Each looting level adds 0.15 to that chance (server.entityBackpackAdditions.lootingChanceIncreasePerLevel). Loot, health buffs, potion effects, armor and jukebox playing are all switched on.[5]
The one pack-specific touch I can see is that server.entityBackpackAdditions.discBlockList contains two Botania Gaia Guardian discs, so mobs won't play them. The file doesn't list a mod default for this option, so I can't confirm whether the pack added them.[5]
