What is More Red?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.12 guide
More Red is included in this pack at version 6.0.0.3, built for Minecraft 1.21.1 (the jar is morered-1.21.1-6.0.0.3.jar). It has been part of the pack since version 0.32 or earlier, so it's a long-standing member of the mod list.[1]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what More Red adds, who it suits, or its recipes, configs and mechanics in this pack. I'm not guessing at those. The pack's mod list is the only confirmed information so far.
Unverified I found no quests in this pack that involve More Red, and the mod doesn't appear on the ATM Star path. No platform page or in-jar guidebook was available to confirm either point or to say where the mod fits in progression.
How do you get started with More Red?
6 parts
More Red is a redstone mod, and almost everything in it starts from one new material: red alloy. Here is the order I'd go in, with the real in-pack recipes shown below each step.[2]
Step 1: Red Alloy Ingot
Your first craft is the Red Alloy Ingot. This recipe is marked as changed by the pack, so don't trust a recipe you remember from the mod's defaults. Use the one below.[2]
Crafting Shapeless
- any red alloyable ingot
- any redstone dust
- any redstone dust
- any redstone dust
- any redstone dust

Step 2: Red Alloy Wire
Next, turn the ingot into Red Alloy Wire. One craft gives you 12 wires, so a single ingot goes a long way. The wire is also what the network cables are built on later.[2]

Step 3: Stone Plates
The Stone Plate is the base piece of the mod. Crafting from a smooth stone slab gives you 12 plates. The stonecutter is the cheaper way to get fewer: a slab gives 4 plates, and a full smooth stone block gives 8.[2]
Crafting Shaped
| any smooth stone slab | any smooth stone slab | any smooth stone slab |
Recipe id: morered:stone_plate
Most of the gate recipes below ask for a smooth stone quarter slab, so keep smooth stone on hand.[2]
Step 4: Your first logic parts
Once you have plates and redstone, start with the simple gates. The Diode and the NOT Gate are good first builds.[2]

Recipe id: morered:not_gate
The same family also includes the AND Gate, NAND Gate, NOR Gate and Latch. They all share the same kind of crafting recipe.[2]
Soldering
The mod also has a Soldering Table and a Soldering category in its screen. The pack has a separate soldering version of many gate recipes, including the diode. For example, the soldered diode needs only redstone dust and a smooth stone quarter slab.[2][3]

Unverified How to craft the Soldering Table itself is not confirmed in the sources for this guide, so check its recipe in-game. This site does hold All the Mods 10: To the Sky's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Step 5: Cables and posts
When you're ready to wire things together, make some Redwire Post and Redwire Spool from your red alloy.[2]

For colored cables, a network cable craft such as Blue Network Cable gives you 8 cables. Craft network cables into Bundled Network Cable and you get 3 bundled cables per craft. The bitwise gates and the bundled cable parts all need those bundled cables.[2]

How does More Red work?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mons 1.1.1 guide
The sources for this mod are thin: they cover names and recipes, not a full explanation of how signals behave. So this section sticks to what the pack's recipes and names show, and I won't guess at the rest.[4][5]
Two ways to make logic gates
The mod has a Soldering Table, and its recipes show up under a "Soldering" category. Several parts have both a normal crafting recipe and a soldering recipe, including the AND Gate, the Two Input AND Gate and the Diode. Here is the AND Gate both ways, then the Diode both ways:[4][5]

The recipe dump counts 17 soldering recipes in one group and 8 in another, so soldering is a big part of the mod. The second group includes ones that use bundled network cable.[5]
Some parts are crafted only the normal way, as far as the sources show. The Multiplexer and the Pulse Gate both have shaped crafting recipes, and no soldering recipe for them is listed.[5]
Gate lineup
The language file lists a wide set of gates: NOT, OR, NAND, NOR, XOR and XNOR, plus Two Input versions of AND and NAND. There is also a Latch and a Hexidecrubrometer. Bitwise versions exist too: AND, OR, XOR, XNOR and NOT, along with the Bitwise Diode. The sources only give names for most of these, so I can't say exactly what each one does.[4]
Network cables and bundled cables
Network cables come in many dye colours, such as Black Network Cable, Blue Network Cable and Brown Network Cable. Here is the black one:[4]
Crafting Shaped

Recipe id: morered:black_network_cable
One craft makes 8 cables.
Network cables can be turned into Bundled Network Cable. The bundled cable is the base for its own hardware: the Bundled Cable Post, the Bundled Cable Relay Plate and the Bundled Cable Spool. The Bitwise AND Gate and the Bitwise Diode have soldering recipes that use bundled cable too. The recipes are below.[4][5]

There are also separate Redwire Post blocks (Redwire Post, Redwire Post Plate and Redwire Post Relay Plate) and a Redwire Spool. The sources list only their names, with no recipes or behaviour.[4]
Materials
The Red Alloy Ingot recipe is marked as changed by the pack, so don't assume the mod's default recipe applies here. Check the exact in-pack recipe:[5]

The Stone Plate is made by stonecutting smooth stone. A full smooth stone block gives 8 plates, and a smooth stone slab gives 4.[5]

Unverified How signal strength, bundled cable channels, gate timing and the Soldering Table interface actually work is not explained in the sources for this pack, so it is unconfirmed here.
How do you progress through More Red?
5 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
More Red has no quest line in this pack, so nothing tells you what to build next. This section lays out a sensible order based on the in-pack recipes instead, starting with the basic materials and finishing with the bundled-cable and bitwise parts.[6]
Unverified Quests: the sources here do not show any pack quest that involves More Red, so no quest-guided path is given.
Red alloy and the soldering table
Everything starts with the Red Alloy Ingot. The pack changes this recipe from the mod's own, and it is shapeless, so the layout in the grid doesn't matter. The sources don't show what the original recipe looked like, so treat the one below as the pack's version.[6]
Crafting Shapeless

- any redstone dust
- any redstone dust

Your ingots can then be turned into Red Alloy Wire, which is an ingredient in the network cables later on.[6]

Next, build the Soldering Table. Many of the later parts have a second recipe made on it, and some of the advanced parts only show a soldering recipe. You will also want the Stone Plate, which can be crafted or made at a stonecutter.[6]

Logic gates
Once you have a soldering table, the basic logic parts are your next step: Diode, Latch, NOT Gate, AND Gate, OR Gate, NAND Gate, NOR Gate, XOR Gate and XNOR Gate. The two-input versions, Two Input AND Gate and Two Input NAND Gate, belong here too. Each of them has both a crafting recipe and a soldering recipe in the pack, and the examples below show the pattern.[6]

The Multiplexer and Pulse Gate sit slightly above these. They also have both crafting and soldering recipes.[6]
Posts and spools
For wiring, move on to the Redwire Post, Redwire Post Plate, Redwire Post Relay Plate and Redwire Spool. The post, post plate and relay plate each have both a crafting and a soldering recipe, while the dump shows the spool only with a crafting recipe. The post and spool recipes are shown below.[6]

Network cables and bundled cables

Bitwise gates and the Hexidecrubrometer
The last stage is the bitwise set: Bitwise Diode, Bitwise NOT Gate, Bitwise AND Gate, Bitwise OR Gate, Bitwise XOR Gate and Bitwise XNOR Gate. The dump shows these only as soldering table items, so you will need the soldering table for this stage.[6]
