What is LR's Dynamic Dungeon?
1 part
LR's Dynamic Dungeon is in the pack as the 1.19.2 build of the mod. It has been there since version 0.0.45.4 or earlier, so it is nothing new in this release. The only item I can point you to is the Dungeon Pass, and the quest book is where it shows up.[1][2]
Where the quest book puts it
The mod has one quest, "Dungeon Pass" quest. It sits in the chapter "The Beginning", which is in the "Storyline" group and is chapter 4 of 44 in the book. The quest asks you to hand in 14 Chiseled Stone Bricks and the Dungeon Pass itself.[2]
Before it comes an untitled checkmark quest (a quest in "The Beginning"), which itself unlocks after "Welcome" quest. That same checkmark also opens up the Hunting Dimension, the mining portals and the dimension visits, so the Dungeon Pass is one of several side branches from it. In the chapter listing, no quest comes after the Dungeon Pass quest.[2]
The mod is not on the ATM Star quest path, so you can treat the Dungeon Pass quest as an optional side step.[2]
Unverified What the Dungeon Pass does in-game and how the dungeons work are not confirmed by the sources for this pack.
How do you get started with LR's Dynamic Dungeon?
4 parts
The first thing to make from this mod is the Dungeon Pass. The two refill items are crafted from it, so it comes first. The Challenger Pass has its own separate recipe.[3]
Make a Dungeon Pass
This pack adds its own recipe for the Dungeon Pass, so it is not the mod's default. It is a shapeless crafting recipe, so the ingredients can go in any slot. One of the ingredients comes from a monster parts tag, which means several different mob drops can fill that slot.[3]

The quest book points you here too. "Dungeon Pass" quest sits in the "The Beginning" chapter of the Storyline group. It asks for 14 chiseled stone bricks as well as the pass, and it unlocks after an untitled checkmark quest.[2]
Turn the pass into refills
Once you have a pass, you can craft the Dungeon Refill and the Stage Refill. Both are shaped recipes from the mod that use a Dungeon Pass.[3]

The Challenger Pass
The Challenger Pass is a shapeless recipe from the mod itself. Unlike the refills, it does not use a Dungeon Pass, so you can make it without crafting a pass first.[3]
Good to know in the dungeon
The mod's config keeps a list of blocks that players are allowed to break in the dungeon dimension. In this pack, dungeon_protection.blockBreakExceptions holds only the gravestone block.[4]
How does LR's Dynamic Dungeon work?
5 parts
Heads up: this mod is about dungeons, not machines. The sources for this pack show no power, fluid or item-handling systems for it, so there is nothing to automate here. What they do show is the dungeon dimension, the blocks used to build dungeons, a protection setting, the passes and refills, and the loot given out per stage.[3][4][5][6]
The dungeon dimension
The pack ships its own data file for the dungeon dimension. It uses the mod's dungeon dimension type and a flat generator with the void as its biome. The generator has a single layer of stone, 256 blocks tall, with lakes and features turned off and no structure overrides.[6]
Dungeon building blocks
The mod's language file lists the blocks it adds. The sources don't explain what each one does, so here is just the list, grouped by name.[5]
- Enemy spawners: Enemy Spawn Block, plus Ground, Flying, Submerged, Miniboss and Boss variants.[5]
- Locks: Lock Block and Boss Lock Block.[5]
- Portals: Portal Block and Next Stage Portal Block.[5]
- Layout and loot: Room Connection Block, Loot Filler Block and Void Block.[5]
Block protection
The common config has a list of block IDs that players are allowed to break in the dungeon dimension: dungeon_protection.blockBreakExceptions. This pack sets it to the gravestone block only.[4]
Passes and refills
The mod has four items: Dungeon Pass, Challenger Pass, Dungeon Refill and Stage Refill. The Dungeon Pass recipe is added by the pack itself. The other three are the mod's own recipes.[3][5]

Loot by stage
The pack sets dungeon loot per stage in data files under kubejs/data/lrdynamicdungeon/dungeon_loot. Only stages 4 and 5 are covered here. Each of these two files sorts its rewards into four categories with a weight: consumable (4), combat (2), enchantment (3) and nature (5).[7][8]
Stage 4 consumables are stacks of 64 of cooked beef, cooked porkchop, cooked salmon or pumpkin pie. Combat rewards are an enchanted Diamond Sword (Sharpness 3) with a shield (Unbreaking 3), or a bow (Punch 3) with 64 arrows. Enchantment rewards include stacks of 64 experience bottles or single enchanted books such as Sharpness 8, Protection 8 and Efficiency 9. Nature rewards include Diamond (16), emeralds, obsidian and four stacks of 64 redstone blocks.[7]
Stage 5 steps everything up. Consumables become rabbit stew or enchanted golden apples, again in stacks of 64. Combat swaps in a Netherite Sword with Sharpness 4. Enchantment rewards include more stacks of 64 experience bottles and books such as Sharpness 10, Protection 10 and Smite 10. Nature rewards include 64 diamonds, 16 ancient debris and a single echo shard.[8]
Unverified The loot files for the other stages, and the compatibility loot files, live in the same dungeon_loot data folder of the pack, and the sources here do not show what they contain.
How do you progress through LR's Dynamic Dungeon?
4 parts
Dungeon progression in this pack starts with the Dungeon Pass, and the quest book puts that pass in your early game. Here is what the sources confirm about the path, the passes and what a high stage pays out.[2][3]
Getting your first pass
The quest "Dungeon Pass" quest sits in the "The Beginning" chapter (group "Storyline", chapter 4 of 44 in the book). It asks for 14 chiseled stone bricks and a Dungeon Pass. It unlocks after an untitled checkmark quest, the same one that leads to "Hunting Dimension" quest, a quest in "The Beginning" and the dimension visit quests.[2]
The pack adds its own recipe for the Dungeon Pass. It is shapeless, so the layout doesn't matter.[3]

Other passes and refills
The mod's own recipes cover three more items. The Challenger Pass is a shapeless recipe.[3]
The Dungeon Refill and the Stage Refill are both shaped recipes that use a Dungeon Pass as an ingredient. Their recipes are shown below.[3]

The dungeon dimension
The pack customises the dungeon dimension. It is a flat world made of a single layer of stone 256 blocks high, in the void biome, with lakes and features turned off.[6]
What stage 4 pays out
The pack's stage 4 loot file has four categories, each with a weight: consumable (4), combat (2), enchantment (3) and nature (5).[7]
- Consumable: a stack of 64 of one of cooked beef, cooked porkchop, cooked salmon or pumpkin pie.[7]
- Combat: either a diamond sword with Sharpness 3 plus a shield with Unbreaking 3, or a bow with Punch 3 plus 64 arrows.[7]
- Enchantment: either two stacks of 64 experience bottles, or one enchanted book. The books are Sharpness 8, Protection 8, Feather Falling 8, Respiration 4, Thorns 4, Depth Strider 4, Smite 8, Efficiency 9, Unbreaking 9 and Power 9.[7]
- Nature: 64 blaze powder, 64 emerald, 16 diamond, 64 obsidian, 64 quartz blocks, 64 glowstone dust, or four stacks of 64 redstone blocks.[7]
Unverified The loot for the other stages is set in the pack's own dungeon_loot data files, one file per stage. The sources here do not show those files, so what the other stages pay out is unverified.
How does LR's Dynamic Dungeon work with other mods?
1 part
The clearest link between this mod and the rest of the pack is the Dungeon Pass. The pack adds its own crafting recipe for it, shown below, and the cross-mod part is Reinforced Alloy from Mekanism.[3]

In the quest book
In the pack's quest book, "Dungeon Pass" quest sits in the "The Beginning" chapter of the Storyline group (chapter 4 of 44 in the book). The quest asks you to hand in 14 chiseled stone bricks and a Dungeon Pass.[2]
In the book, this quest comes after an untitled checkmark quest, a quest in "The Beginning", which itself follows "Welcome" quest. That same untitled quest is also the parent of other dimension and portal quests, such as "Hunting Dimension" quest and a quest in "The Beginning".[2]
Which Project Infinity 0.1 quests use LR's Dynamic Dungeon?
2 parts
This mod shows up in one quest in the pack: "Dungeon Pass" quest. It sits in the chapter "The Beginning", in the Storyline group. That is chapter 4 of 44 in the quest book, and the chapter has 58 quests.[2]
What the quest asks for
The quest has two item tasks. You hand in 14 Chiseled Stone Bricks, and you also need a Dungeon Pass, the mod's own item.[2]
Where it sits in the chapter
Dungeon Pass unlocks after an untitled checkmark quest. The same prerequisite is listed for several other quests, mostly dimension and portal ones: "Hunting Dimension" quest, a quest in "The Beginning", "Visit the LOST CITIES" quest, "Visit THE NETHER" quest, a quest in "The Beginning", a quest in "The Beginning", "Visit the END" quest and "Visit the TWILIGHT FOREST" quest.[2]
No other quest in the chapter lists Dungeon Pass as its prerequisite, so it is a side branch rather than a step on the main path. You can do it whenever you like once it is unlocked.[2]
Early in the chapter, "Welcome" quest opens things up. Its follow-ups include the log, pebble and shears quests, which lead into the Ex Deorum barrel, crook and sieve progression.[2]
Which LR's Dynamic Dungeon config options matter?
The source for this mod only covers one config option, so this section is short. It lives in the common config file and controls what you can break inside the dungeon dimension.[4]
dungeon_protection.blockBreakExceptions is a list of block IDs that players are allowed to break in the dungeon dimension. This pack sets it to a single entry: gravestone:gravestone.[4]
In practice, that one block is on the list of things you can break in the dungeon dimension. This option is a list of exceptions, so you can add more block IDs to it in that file if you want to allow more.[4]
Unverified The mod's default value for this option, and whether this pack changed it, is not shown in the available sources.
