- Ender Monitor
The Endergenic generator setup is one of the most complicated energy generators that doesn't require a degree in nuclear physics. These generators extract power from ender pearls by 'throwing' the pearls between each other (targeted via Smart Wrench) and canceling their teleportation effect, absorbing the stifled energy. Continuing to hold onto a stifled pearl uses energy however and Endergenics enter a cool-down state after throwing a pearl, so proper timing using redstone is crucial to efficiency. The process isn't perfect, so sometimes pearls will shatter in the machines after being thrown.
Asks for:Ender Monitor,
Endergenic,
Pearl Injector,
Sequencer

- Dimensional Cells
Dimensional Cells are energy storage blocks that are capable of sharing their storage with each other wirelessly via Powercell Card channels. There is a small amount of loss in this process based on the distance, improved by infusing the cell that's drawing the energy. To insert or extract energy, configure a side of the cell using a Smart Wrench. Blue sides will allow energy into the cell, yellow will allow energy to be pushed out. To configure a Powercell Card and create a wireless energy channel, simply place an unlinked card in the leftmost slot of an unlinked Dimensional Cell. This will register a new channel on the card to transfer power over. To add cards to this channel, place an unlinked card in the slot to the right of it.
Asks for:Dimensional Cell,
Dimensional Cell (Advanced),
Dimensional Cell (Simple),
Powercell Card
- Steam Boiler Addon
Most of Oritech's generators can accept the Steam Boiler Addon. This allows you to pump water into the addon, which will convert the power output of the generator into Steam. This can then be pumped into a Steam Engine to generate RF. The energy produced is added with the energy produced from the base generator that is using the Steam Boiler Addon. A Steam Engine's speed varies based on the stored steam. More steam results in more pressure, making it operate faster. The speed is scaled linearly based on the tank's fill percentage, with a maximum multiplier of 10 when the tank is full. However, the Steam Engine's efficiency varies based on the speed. Higher efficiency results in more RF per steam unit produced. The machine's efficiency is highest when operating at around 700% speed. Anything lower or higher than that will result in a less ideal yield. Energy can be extracted from the red machine slots, while Fluid ports are marked blue.
Needs: Oritech Starter GeneratorAsks for:Steam Boiler Addon,
Steam Engine

Asks for:Large Energy Storage
- Thermoelectric Generator
The Thermoelectric Generator uses the temperature differential between the blocks on either side of it to generate LV power. This means that you need to place one cold block/fluid and one hot block/fluid on opposite sides of the block to generate power. You can check the Engineer's Manual or JEI for a list of compatible blocks. Note: This is a store only item.
Asks for:Thermoelectric Generator
- Reactor Controller
Oritech Reactors are a great way to generate large amounts of power! The Reactor is a large custom multiblock made up of many different parts, with the Nuclear Reactor Control Panel being the main interface block. This interface shows the current status of the reactor, along with the temperatures of the components and statistics. It also only shows the first layer of the interior. Reactors generate power by consuming Uranium or Plutonium Pellets, and the amount of power is based on the number of Reactor Rods and Neutron Reflectors next to the rods. It is important to keep Reactors sufficiently cooled! Reactors like to make big holes.
Asks for:Nuclear Reactor Controller
- Heat Vents & Heat Pipes
Reactor Heat Vents remove heat from the hottest neighboring component (Fuel Rods or Heat Pipes) and vent it out of the Reactor. The amount of heat removed is based on the temperature of the neighboring component. Hotter components will result in more heat removed. Reactor Heat Pipes take heat from Fuel Rods and spread it among neighboring Heat Vents. The maximum transferred heat amount from a neighboring component is based on the temperature difference between them.
Needs: Reactor ControllerAsks for:Reactor Heat Pipe,
Reactor Heat Vent
- Reactor Rods
Reactor Fuel Rods are interior components that need to be supplied with Uranium or Plutonium Pellets from Reactor Fuel Ports to generate heat. The Fuel Port will be placed on the ceiling of the Reactor. This Port will need Fuel Rods connecting it all the way to the bottom of the Reactor. To create Uranium Pellets, you'll need access to the Atomic Forge to create Uranium Gems. When burning fuel, Fuel Rods will generate neutron pulses that create a specific amount of energy, the more pulses a rod receives, the more energy it also creates. However, if a neighboring component is also a Fuel Rod, it will also hit the neighboring component with a pulse. The amount of heat generated is based on the total pulses of a rod (internal + external pulses). A Single Rod will generate 1 internal pulse, a Double Rod 4, and a Quad Rod 12. Neutron Reflectors can be used to send a pulse back to its origin, acting as a similar rod type to its neighbor, increasing its efficiency. Each Fuel Rod will consume a fixed amount of fuel from the Reactor Fuel Ports above the stack. Each fuel pellet has a capacity, and each rod will use 1 capacity unit, a double rod uses 2, and a quad rod uses 4.
Needs: Reactor ControllerAsks for:Plutonium Pellet,
Reactor Double Rod,
Reactor Fuel Port,
Reactor Quad Rod,
Reactor Neutron Reflector,
Single Reactor Rod
- Small Storage Block
This Portable Energy Storage can hold up to 1M RF and will retain energy when broken. The Portable Energy Storage accepts energy from all sides through a green port and can only output through the single red port. A redstone signal will disable all energy output.
Asks for:Portable Energy Storage
- Reactor Heat Absorbers
Reactor Heat Absorbers remove a fixed amount of heat from all neighboring components making it more efficient when surrounded by components that need to be cooled. It requires a constant supply of coolant in the form of ice (or blue/packed ice), which can be inserted via the Coolant Port above the Absorber stack. The amount of coolant used is fixed, and does not increase with more sides being cooled. Each tick, 16 units of heat are removed from each neighbor. A Reactor Coolant Port must be placed on the outer ceiling of the Reactor, with Heat Absorbers beneath it.
Needs: Reactor ControllerAsks for:Reactor Coolant Absorber Port,
Reactor Heat Absorber
- Designing The Reactor
The Reactor needs to be made of rectangular walls, where the frame is made of Reactor Wall blocks. The max size of a Reactor is 64 blocks per direction. Its interior needs to be identical in the vertical (y) axis. Somewhere on the walls, you'll need the Nuclear Reactor Control Panel, as well as any Energy Ports that you wish to use. While it's possible to make a small 3x3x3 Reactor, it's best to start with a 5x5x5 to properly cool it down. Even though the Reactor allows for some heat build-up, a properly cooled design should not produce any leaking heat. You can design your Reactors as you wish. In general, Dual/Quad Rods use fuel more efficiently, generating more total RF per pellet, but are also much harder to cool. You can use active cooling with the Heat Absorbers, or passive cooling with just Heat Vents. If a Fuel Rod contains a temperature of over 2000°C for a long period of time, it will overheat and trigger a NUCLEAR MELTDOWN! Warning sirens will engage before it reaches those temperatures. Depending on the size of the Reactor and the number of Fuel Rods, the meltdown will result in a bigger or smaller explosion.
Needs: Reactor ControllerAsks for:Reactor Wall
- Diesel Generator
The Diesel Generator generates HV power by consuming fuels like Diesel. Depending on the fuel used, certain fuels will burn for longer inside the generator, creating more power. Asks for:Fuel Generator
- Energy & Redstone Ports
The Reactor Energy Port is used to output the energy generated by the Reactor, and it needs to be placed on one of its outer walls. Each port may output up to 25,000 RF/t. The Reactor Redstone Port can disable the intake of new fuels, but will finish burning any pellet that has already started burning before the reactor is fully shut off. It can also be used with a comparator to output data. It has 3 modes which can be cycled by right-clicking the port: Energy, Active Rod Count, and Temperature.
Needs: Reactor ControllerAsks for:Reactor Energy Port,

- The Energized Induction Matrix
The Energized Induction Matrix from Mekanism is the ultimate way to store tons of power! This is a custom multiblock structure that can be built up to 18x18x18 for all of your power storage needs. It only requires 1 Induction Cell, 1 Induction Provider, and Induction Ports to pull and push power out. To build this, the smallest structure that can be made is a 3x4x3 multiblock. The frame must be made up of Induction Casings, and the faces can be Structural Glass or Induction Ports. Inside of the structure, you'll place down your Induction Cells and Providers. Providers determine how fast the Matrix can push or pull power, whereas the Cells determine the maximum amount of power that can be stored. You can mix and match however many you want of each, as long as it is placed inside of the structure. Induction Ports can be configured to input or output power by sneak-using a Configurator on them. I suggest using at least 2 for your first Matrix!

- Setting Up Networks
You can access the Network UI from any block within the mod, like a Flux Plug or Point. From there, you can create your first network! On the far-right tab of the UI, you can click the + to create a new network. On this screen, you can change the network's name and switch configuration options to public, private, or encrypted, making it a great power transfer mod for server use. When you're finished configuring the options, you can hit Create at the bottom! This will bring you to the Network List. In this list, you can see all networks that are available to you, including the one you just created! For every device that needs to connect to the network, this is the first thing you'll do whenever you place it down. Once you've selected a network, you can head over to the Home page to configure the settings of the device. The Home page allows you to configure several parts of the device, including the Name, Priority, and Transfer Limit. The higher the Priority number, the more priority it gets for the power in your network. The Transfer Limit allows you to control how much the device can pull from the network. You also have toggles on the bottom to override these settings if you wish! Power Surge will ignore all priority settings and force the device to be the highest priority in the network. Bypass Limit just ignores the device's Transfer Limit settings and sets it to max.
Needs: Flux Networks - Thermo Generator Basic
Thermo Generators generate power using heat from the block placed underneath it, and a coolant being pumped in from any side. You can use JEI to see all valid heat sources and coolants.
