What is Refined Storage - JEI Integration?

Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide

This pack ships Refined Storage - JEI Integration at version 1.0.0, using the file refinedstorage-jei-integration-neoforge-1.0.0.jar. It has been part of the pack since version 1.0.1 or earlier, so it is not a recent addition.[1]

Unverified The sources here do not describe what the mod does in detail, because no platform metadata or in-jar guidebook was available for it. Check the mod in game, for example through its entries in JEI, to see exactly how it behaves in this pack. This site does hold FTB Skies 2: Aero's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

How do you get started with Refined Storage - JEI Integration?

2 parts

Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide

This mod is a small bridge between Refined Storage and JEI, so there is nothing for you to craft to get started. The only thing I can confirm from the mod's own text is what it adds to the grid and to JEI recipe transfers, so that's what this section covers.[2]

Grid search sync

The grid gets two search synchronizer options. The first is named "JEI", and it syncs the text in the search box to the JEI filter.[2]

The second is named "JEI two-way". It does the same, and it also syncs the JEI filter back to the search box text.[2]

Recipe transfer messages

When you transfer a recipe from JEI, the mod shows messages about whether the missing items can be autocrafted. These are the ones the mod defines:[2]

  • "All are autocraftable"[2]
  • "Some are autocraftable"[2]
  • "Missing items, all are autocraftable"[2]
  • "Missing items, some are autocraftable"[2]
  • "CTRL + click to autocraft"[2]
Tip: When you see "CTRL + click to autocraft" in the transfer screen, that is the hint for starting an autocraft from the transfer.[2]

Unverified Recipes, quests and config options for this mod could not be confirmed, so this section does not give a crafting order or settings to change.

How does Refined Storage - JEI Integration work?

2 parts

Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide

This mod is a small bridge between your Refined Storage grid and JEI. The only material available for it is its own language file, so what follows covers the options and messages it shows on screen, not any deeper machinery.[2]

Grid search synchronizer

The mod adds two synchronizer modes for the grid's search box. Each has a name and a help text, so you can see what it does in the grid screen.[2]

  • JEI: syncs the search box text to the JEI filter. Whatever you type in the grid search box shows up in JEI's filter.[2]
  • JEI two-way: syncs the search box text to the JEI filter, and also syncs the JEI filter back to the search box text. Type in either place and the other follows.[2]

Recipe transfer and autocrafting hints

The mod also has a set of transfer messages that tell you how autocraftable the items of a recipe are. These are the strings it uses:[2]

  • All are autocraftable[2]
  • Some are autocraftable[2]
  • Missing items, all are autocraftable[2]
  • Missing items, some are autocraftable[2]
  • CTRL + click to autocraft[2]

Going by the wording, the messages separate two cases: you are missing items but they can all be autocrafted, or only some of them can be. The CTRL + click prompt is the shortcut the mod tells you to use when you want to autocraft instead of just transferring items.[2]

Unverified The exact conditions that trigger each transfer message, and what happens after you CTRL + click, are not documented in the available sources.

Items and blocks

We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as refinedstorage_jei_integration, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
