What is Actually Additions: Tiers?
This pack ships Actually Additions: Tiers at version 21.1.1.0.1, from the file actuallyadditionstiers-21.1.1.0.1.jar. It has been in the pack since 1.0.3 or earlier, so it isn't a recent addition.[1]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what this mod adds or changes, so I'm not going to guess at its features or recipes here.
How do you get started with Actually Additions: Tiers?
5 parts
This mod adds tiered versions of the Actually Additions Display Stand: Iron Display Stand, Gold Display Stand, Diamond Display Stand and Netherite Display Stand. Each one is crafted from the tier below it, so you work up the chain in order and can't skip a step.[2][3]
First: Iron Display Stand
Everything starts from the normal Display Stand from Actually Additions. Upgrade it to iron first, because every higher tier is built on this one.[2]

Next: Gold Display Stand
Then upgrade your iron stand to gold.[2]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: aatiers:gold_display_stand
Then: Diamond Display Stand
The gold stand is the base for the diamond one.[2]

Last: Netherite Display Stand
The final tier is made from the diamond stand.[2]

Why the pack's numbers matter
Each tier has an energy buffer (capacity, in FE) and a maximum input rate (in FE/tick). This pack changed most of these values from the mod defaults, so don't rely on numbers you may have seen elsewhere. They are all set in the server config file for this mod.[4]
- Iron: tiers.iron.capacity is 500,000 (mod default 400,000) and tiers.iron.maxInput is 50,000 (mod default 5,000).[4]
- Gold: tiers.gold.capacity is 1,000,000, the same as the mod default, but tiers.gold.maxInput is 100,000 (mod default 15,000).[4]
- Diamond: tiers.diamond.capacity is 10,000,000 (mod default 4,000,000) and tiers.diamond.maxInput is 1,000,000 (mod default 40,000).[4]
- Netherite: tiers.netherite.capacity is 100,000,000 (mod default 8,000,000) and tiers.netherite.maxInput is 10,000,000 (mod default 100,000).[4]
How does Actually Additions: Tiers work?
2 parts
Actually Additions: Tiers adds upgraded versions of the Actually Additions display stand: Iron Display Stand, Gold Display Stand, Diamond Display Stand and Netherite Display Stand. What the sources show about them is how you craft each tier and how much energy each one can hold and accept, so that is what this section covers.[2][3][4]
Energy buffer and input rate
Each tier has a capacity setting, which is the maximum energy buffer in FE, and a maxInput setting, which is the maximum energy input rate in FE per tick. This pack changed almost all of them from the mod defaults, so don't trust numbers from other modpacks.[4]
- Iron: capacity tiers.iron.capacity is 500,000 FE (mod default 400,000), and max input tiers.iron.maxInput is 50,000 FE/tick (mod default 5,000).[4]
- Gold: capacity tiers.gold.capacity is 1,000,000 FE, the same as the mod default, so the pack left this one alone. Max input tiers.gold.maxInput is 100,000 FE/tick (mod default 15,000).[4]
- Diamond: capacity tiers.diamond.capacity is 10,000,000 FE (mod default 4,000,000), and max input tiers.diamond.maxInput is 1,000,000 FE/tick (mod default 40,000).[4]
- Netherite: capacity tiers.netherite.capacity is 100,000,000 FE (mod default 8,000,000), and max input tiers.netherite.maxInput is 10,000,000 FE/tick (mod default 100,000).[4]
The biggest numbers are at the top. The netherite stand holds 100,000,000 FE and takes in up to 10,000,000 FE every tick in this pack, the highest of any tier. All of these values live in the server config file, and each accepts any value above 1.[4]
Upgrade chain
The tiers are crafted as a ladder. The iron stand is made from the base Actually Additions display stand, and each higher tier is made from the stand one step below it. These are all shaped crafting recipes from the mod, shown here as the pack has them.[2]

How do you progress through Actually Additions: Tiers?
2 parts
The tier items in this pack are upgraded display stands, one for each material: iron, gold, diamond and netherite. They form a straight ladder. You start from the regular Display Stand from Actually Additions, and each tier is crafted from the one before it, so you can't skip a step.[2]
The tier ladder
- Iron Display Stand: the entry tier, crafted from the regular Display Stand plus an iron ingot.[2]
- Gold Display Stand: crafted from the Iron Display Stand plus a gold ingot.[2]
- Diamond Display Stand: crafted from the Gold Display Stand plus a diamond.[2]
- Netherite Display Stand: the top tier, crafted from the Diamond Display Stand plus a netherite ingot.[2]
Recipes for each tier
Every tier is a shaped crafting recipe added by the mod. Here is exactly what the pack uses, in ladder order.[2]

How does Actually Additions: Tiers work with other mods?
The one cross-mod link I can confirm for this mod in the pack is its tie to the base Actually Additions mod. The Iron Display Stand is crafted from the Display Stand, so you need the base mod's item before you can make the tiered version.[2]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: aatiers:iron_display_stand
This shaped crafting recipe comes from the mod itself and is the pack's recipe for the Iron Display Stand.
The recipe also uses a vanilla item, Iron Ingot. The block above shows the exact layout.[2]
No other recipes in the pack mix this mod's items with items from other mods.[2]
Which Actually Additions: Tiers config options matter?
1 part
Everything you can tweak for this mod lives in config/aatiers-server.toml. Each display stand tier has two options: a capacity (the energy buffer, in FE) and a max input (how fast it accepts energy, in FE/tick). This pack raised almost all of them, and the biggest jumps are in the input rates.[4]
Values this pack uses
- Iron: tiers.iron.capacity is 500,000 (mod default 400,000) and tiers.iron.maxInput is 50,000 (mod default 5,000). Both are changed by the pack.[4]
- Gold: tiers.gold.capacity is 1,000,000, which is the mod default, so the pack leaves it alone. tiers.gold.maxInput is 100,000 (mod default 15,000), which the pack changed.[4]
- Diamond: tiers.diamond.capacity is 10,000,000 (mod default 4,000,000) and tiers.diamond.maxInput is 1,000,000 (mod default 40,000). Both are changed by the pack.[4]
- Netherite: tiers.netherite.capacity is 100,000,000 (mod default 8,000,000) and tiers.netherite.maxInput is 10,000,000 (mod default 100,000). Both are changed by the pack.[4]
All of these options accept values above 1, according to the config file. The comments in the file describe the capacity options as the maximum energy buffer of that tier's display stand, and the max input options as the maximum energy input rate.[4]
