What is IntegratedTerminals?
1 part
IntegratedTerminals is an add-on for the Integrated Dynamics family of mods. This pack ships version 1.8.0, built for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge.[1]
Where it shows up in the quests
You meet this mod in the pack's integrated_dynamics quest chapter, so it belongs to the Integrated Dynamics line of progression. Two quests there ask you to obtain its items.[2]
- Quest "Storage Terminal" quest asks you to get Part Terminal Storage and the Portable Storage Terminal. It unlocks after an earlier quest in the same chapter.[2]
- Quest "Autocrafting With I.D" quest comes next. It asks for Part Terminal Crafting Job together with the crafting interface part from Integrated Crafting.[2]
So the pack's quest line takes you through storage terminals first, then on to crafting-job terminals, which are paired with Integrated Crafting.[2]
Unverified The sources don't describe how the terminals work, their recipes, or any config changes the pack makes to this mod, so none of that is covered here. The sources also don't place IntegratedTerminals on the ATM Star path.
How do you get started with IntegratedTerminals?
4 parts
IntegratedTerminals is an add-on for Integrated Dynamics. It gives you terminals to manage and overview your Integrated Dynamics networks. Here is the order I'd make things in, because each item builds on the one before it.[3]
First, make Menril Glass
Everything starts with Menril Glass, a self-illuminating glass. You make it by drying Menril Resin onto Glass in a Drying Basin. You need it before you can make the Storage Terminal, so do this first.[3]
Next, craft the Storage Terminal part
The Part Terminal Storage is a part you place on a Cable. It gives you a GUI for storage management in the attached network. This is the main reason to use the mod, so make it early.[3]

Then, upgrade to the Portable Storage Terminal
Once you have the Storage Terminal part, you can turn it into a Portable Storage Terminal, a portable variant of the terminal made with Crystalized Menril Chunks. The quest "Storage Terminal" quest asks for both the Storage Terminal part and the Portable Storage Terminal, so you can use it to track your progress.[2][3][4]

Finally, add the Crafting Job Terminal (optional)
The Part Terminal Crafting Job only matters if you use an autocrafting mod such as Integrated Crafting. It lets you see and cancel all running crafting jobs in the network. For each job it shows the remaining sub-jobs, status, duration, owner and channel.[3]

The next quest in the chapter, "Autocrafting With I.D" quest, comes after the Storage Terminal quest. It asks for this part together with the crafting interface part from Integrated Crafting.[2]
How does IntegratedTerminals work?
5 parts
Integrated Terminals is an extension to Integrated Dynamics. It gives you terminals to manage and overview your Integrated Dynamics networks. The Storage Terminal lets you interact with your storage networks, such as attached Energy Batteries. If other mods add storage capabilities, like the item and fluid capabilities from Integrated Tunnels, you can interact with those as well.[3]
Getting the terminals
The Storage Terminal is a part, Part Terminal Storage, and it has its own recipe in this pack.[4]

Both recipes use Menril Glass. You get it by drying Menril Resin onto Glass, and the block is described in game as illuminating glass.[3][4]
If you want a terminal you can carry, the Portable Storage Terminal is made from the storage terminal part.[4]

Using the Storage Terminal
The terminal grid comes in three preset sizes. Small is 9 columns by 5 rows, medium is 10 columns by 7 rows and large is 11 columns by 9 rows. You can also scale the grid by width or height, up to a maximum of 32 columns and 20 rows. The width-based scale uses 5 rows and the height-based scale uses 9 columns. You can mark your current settings as the default for new terminals.[3][5]
Items can be sorted by name, by internal registry ID or by amount, and fluids have the same three options. Each sort can be ascending or descending. Entries in the terminal show a Stored amount, and craftable ones show a To Craft amount.[3]
Clicking an entry selects a starting quantity. In this pack that is 64 for an item, and 100,000 for a fluid or for energy. Right-clicking removes from that selection: 1 for items, and 1,000 for fluids and energy. These are set by the machine.general.guiStorageItemInitialQuantity, machine.general.guiStorageItemIncrementalQuantity, machine.general.guiStorageFluidInitialQuantity, machine.general.guiStorageFluidIncrementalQuantity, machine.general.guiStorageEnergyInitialQuantity and machine.general.guiStorageEnergyIncrementalQuantity options.[5]
The base energy usage is 2 for the storage terminal (general.general.terminalStorageBaseConsumption) and 1 for the crafting terminal (general.general.terminalCraftingBaseConsumption).[5]
The crafting grid
The terminal's crafting grid has a few helpers. Auto-refill can be disabled, or it can refill from the player, the network, or both in a chosen order. Balance spreads equal items evenly over the slots. The clear button sends the grid into storage, and shift-clicking it sends the contents to your player inventory instead.[3]
In this pack, shift-clicking the crafting result slot is not limited to a single result, because general.general.shiftClickCraftingResultLimit is false. The search box and button states are kept in sync between the item storage and crafting tabs (general.general.syncItemStorageAndCraftingTabStates is true).[5]
Crafting plans and jobs
When you ask for something craftable, the terminal calculates a crafting plan first. The plan is labelled Valid or Running, or it fails as Incomplete, Insufficient Crafting Interfaces, or Recursive recipe detected. You can view the plan as a compact list or as a tree. In this pack it defaults to the compact view (core.general.terminalStorageDefaultToCraftingPlanTree is false). A tree plan is no longer sent to the client once it passes 64 leaves (core.general.terminalStorageMaxTreePlanSize).[3][5]
The plan calculator uses up to 2 threads (core.general.craftingPlannerThreads), but crafting planner multithreading is switched off in this pack (core.general.craftingPlannerEnableMultithreading).[5]
The Crafting Job Terminal lists every running job in the network and lets you cancel them, either one at a time or all at once. Click a job for a detailed view that shows its remaining sub-jobs, status, duration, owner and channel. Hovering over a sub-job gives more detail on its status. The job list refreshes every 1,000 milliseconds (machine.general.guiTerminalCraftingJobsUpdateFrequency).[3][5]
A job moves through these statuses:[3]
- Valid: not started yet.[3]
- Queueing: waiting for other jobs to finish.[3]
- Pending Dependencies: waiting for dependencies to finish.[3]
- Pending Inputs: missing input ingredients.[3]
- Crafting: the job has started and is waiting for outputs.[3]
- Finished: the job completed and the outputs have been received.[3]
- Invalid: missing storage ingredients.[3]
- Recipe Not Allowed: the recipe inputs could not be inserted into the crafting target.[3]
- Error: an unknown error.[3]
Network and packet settings
Terminal data is sent to the client in packets. A single packet carries at most 512 terminal storage instances and 128 crafting recipes. The config notes say to reduce these if you get packet overflows, using core.general.terminalStoragePacketMaxInstances and core.general.terminalStoragePacketMaxRecipes. Packet serialization and deserialization both run on separate threads in this pack.[5]
How do you progress through IntegratedTerminals?
2 parts
In this pack, IntegratedTerminals progression follows the quest book's integrated_dynamics chapter. You make the storage terminal first, then move on to crafting job access.[2]
First: storage terminals
The first terminal quest, "Storage Terminal" quest, unlocks after an earlier quest in the same chapter. Its tasks are to submit the Part Terminal Storage and the Portable Storage Terminal.[2]

Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: integratedterminals:crafting/terminal_storage_portable
The portable version is crafted from the storage terminal part.
The recipe dump lists both of these as shaped crafting recipes from the mod. It does not show the pack replacing either one.[4]
Next: crafting job terminal
Once you finish the storage quest, "Autocrafting With I.D" quest comes next in the chapter. Its tasks are to submit the Part Terminal Crafting Job and the Part Interface Crafting.[2]

The crafting job terminal recipe is also a shaped mod recipe. It uses Menril Glass, just like the storage terminal recipe.[4]
How does IntegratedTerminals work with other mods?
3 parts
In this pack, every recipe that links IntegratedTerminals to another mod runs through Integrated Dynamics. The terminal parts are crafted from Integrated Dynamics parts, and the special glass blocks are made in Integrated Dynamics drying basins.[4]
Terminal parts
The Part Terminal Storage is your first link to Integrated Dynamics. The recipe below draws on the Part Display Panel and the Input Variable Transformer and Output Variable Transformer transformers.[4]

Menril Glass and Chorus Glass
The glass blocks are made with Integrated Dynamics machines. Menril Glass is tied to Menril Resin, and Chorus Glass to Liquid Chorus. Each glass has a drying basin recipe and a mechanical drying basin recipe, shown below. They are listed as mod recipes, so the sources show no pack changes to them.[4]

Quest progression
The pack's Integrated Dynamics quest chapter covers these terminals. Quest "Storage Terminal" quest asks for the storage terminal part and the portable storage terminal.[2]
Quest "Autocrafting With I.D" quest comes right after it. It asks for the Part Interface Crafting from Integrated Crafting and the crafting job terminal part, so the crafting job terminal is where this mod links up with Integrated Crafting.[2]
Which FTB Skies 2 quests use IntegratedTerminals?
3 parts
In this pack, IntegratedTerminals appears in the "integrated_dynamics" quest chapter. Its quests there are item-submission tasks, and they follow each other in a chain.[2]
Storage terminals
Quest "Storage Terminal" quest is where the mod enters the chapter. It asks for Part Terminal Storage and Portable Storage Terminal. It unlocks after an earlier quest in the chapter that isn't an IntegratedTerminals quest, so finish that first.[2]
Crafting jobs
Quest "Autocrafting With I.D" quest comes right after the storage terminal quest. Its tasks are Part Interface Crafting and Part Terminal Crafting Job.[2]
Order
- Finish the quest that sits before the storage terminal quest in the chapter.[2]
- Complete "Storage Terminal" quest by submitting the storage terminal part and the portable storage terminal.[2]
- Complete "Autocrafting With I.D" quest by submitting the crafting interface part and the crafting job terminal part.[2]
Which IntegratedTerminals config options matter?
5 parts
IntegratedTerminals keeps its settings in one file, config/integratedterminals-common.toml. Below are the options you are most likely to touch, with the exact values this pack sets. The file I have shows what the pack uses, not the mod's own defaults, so I won't claim any of these were changed.[5]
Crafting planner and packets
If you see lag or packet trouble around big crafting jobs, start here.[5]
- core.general.craftingPlannerEnableMultithreading is false in this pack, so the crafting planners do not work on a separate thread. core.general.craftingPlannerThreads is 2, which is the number of threads the plan calculator can use.[5]
- core.general.packetSerializationEnableMultithreading and core.general.packetDeserializationEnableMultithreading are both true, so packets are handled in separate threads.[5]
- core.general.terminalStoragePacketMaxInstances is 512 and core.general.terminalStoragePacketMaxRecipes is 128. The file says to reduce these if you get packet overflows.[5]
- core.general.terminalStorageMaxTreePlanSize is 64. A tree-based crafting plan with more leaves than that is no longer sent to the client.[5]
- core.general.terminalStorageDefaultToCraftingPlanTree is false, so crafting plans open in the flattened view instead of the tree view.[5]
Click quantities in the storage terminal
- Items: clicking an item selects 64 (machine.general.guiStorageItemInitialQuantity), and right-clicking removes 1 (machine.general.guiStorageItemIncrementalQuantity).[5]
- Fluids: clicking selects 100,000 (machine.general.guiStorageFluidInitialQuantity), and right-clicking removes 1,000 (machine.general.guiStorageFluidIncrementalQuantity).[5]
- Energy uses the same numbers: 100,000 initially (machine.general.guiStorageEnergyInitialQuantity) and 1,000 per right-click (machine.general.guiStorageEnergyIncrementalQuantity).[5]
- machine.general.guiTerminalCraftingJobsUpdateFrequency is 1000, the update frequency in milliseconds for the crafting jobs GUI.[5]
Terminal size and layout
The storage terminal scales to your screen. The small scale is 9 columns by 5 rows, medium is 10 by 7 and large is 11 by 9. When scaling, it can grow up to 32 columns and 20 rows.[5]
Those come from general.general.guiStorageScaleSmallColumns, general.general.guiStorageScaleSmallRows, general.general.guiStorageScaleMediumColumns, general.general.guiStorageScaleMediumRows, general.general.guiStorageScaleLargeColumns, general.general.guiStorageScaleLargeRows, general.general.guiStorageScaleMaxColumns and general.general.guiStorageScaleMaxRows. The width-based and height-based scales use 5 rows (general.general.guiStorageScaleWidthRows) and 9 columns (general.general.guiStorageScaleHeightColumns).[5]
general.general.guiStorageForceCraftingGridCenter is false, so the crafting grid placement stays responsive to screen size. general.general.syncItemStorageAndCraftingTabStates is true, so the search box and button states are shared between the item storage and crafting tabs.[5]
Energy use and crafting results
The base energy usage is 1 for the crafting terminal (general.general.terminalCraftingBaseConsumption) and 2 for the storage terminal (general.general.terminalStorageBaseConsumption). general.general.shiftClickCraftingResultLimit is false, so shift-clicking the crafting result slot is not limited to a single result.[5]
Housekeeping
core.general.analytics is true, which allows an anonymous mod startup analytics request. core.general.versionChecker is false, so the version checker is off.[5]
