Refined Storage - JEI Integration in FTB Evolution 2

Refined Storage - JEI Integration is the optional bridge between Refined Storage and Just Enough Items (JEI). It doesn't add new storage blocks or machines. It makes the Refined Storage screens work smoothly with JEI's recipe viewer. This pack includes version 2.0.1.^[1][2]

If you use Refined Storage and JEI together, this mod is for you. It is most useful when you want to build and autocraft things quickly without hunting through your storage by hand.^[1]

What it does for you

• Recipe transfer into the Crafting Grid: send a JEI recipe straight into the grid. If you're missing ingredients, it still places what you have. If autocrafting is available for the missing ones, you can start autocrafting tasks from the preview.^[1]
• Recipe transfer into the Pattern Grid: the interface shows which ingredients are autocraftable.^[1]
• R and U keys: press them on the Grid and on filter slots to view recipes and usages.^[1]
• Search synchronization: link the Grid search box with JEI, either one-way (Grid to JEI) or two-way.^[1]
• Ghost ingredient dragging: drag any type of ingredient from JEI into Refined Storage filter slots.^[1]
• Exclusion zones: JEI elements move automatically so they don't overlap Refined Storage GUI components.^[1]

Good news: there's nothing to craft for this one. Refined Storage - JEI Integration is an optional add-on that connects Refined Storage with Just Enough Items (JEI), so recipe lookups and crafting get smoother. Once it's in your game, you just start using Refined Storage's screens with JEI.^[1]

Your first steps

1. Open a Crafting Grid and look up a recipe in JEI. You can transfer that recipe straight into the Crafting Grid.^[1]
2. Don't worry if you're missing ingredients. The transfer still places whatever you have.^[1]
3. If autocrafting is available for the missing ingredients, you can start autocrafting tasks from the preview. The tooltip tells you to CTRL + click (CMD + click on Mac) to autocraft.^[1][3]
4. Open the Grid and try the R and U keys on the Grid and on filter slots to view recipes and usages.^[1]

Reading the transfer tooltips

When you transfer a recipe, the tooltip tells you how well autocrafting can cover it. You'll see messages like "All are autocraftable", "Some are autocraftable", "Missing items, all are autocraftable" and "Missing items, some are autocraftable". They help you decide whether to autocraft or gather the items yourself.^[3]

Handy extras

• Pattern Grid transfers: you can also send JEI recipes into the Pattern Grid, and the interface shows which ingredients are autocraftable.^[1]
• Search sync: you can sync the Grid's search box with JEI, either one-way (Grid to JEI) or two-way. The one-way option syncs the search box text to the JEI filter. The two-way option also syncs the JEI filter back to the search box.^[1][3]

To actually kick off the autocrafting, the tooltip tells you to CTRL + click. A CMD + click version of the hint is also included.^[3]

JEI recipes can also be transferred into the Pattern Grid. The interface shows which of the ingredients are autocraftable, which is handy when you're building patterns.^[1]

Looking up recipes and usages

On the Grid and on filter slots, you can press R to view recipes and U to view usages.^[1]

Search box synchronization

The Grid's search box can be synced with JEI's filter. There are two modes:^[1]

• One-way (Grid → JEI): the search box text is synced to the JEI filter.^[1][3]
• Two-way: the search box text is synced to the JEI filter, and the JEI filter is synced back to the search box text.^[1][3]

Dragging and layout

• Ghost ingredient dragging: you can drag any type of ingredient from JEI onto Refined Storage filter slots.^[1]
• Exclusion zones: JEI elements automatically reposition so they don't overlap Refined Storage GUI components.^[1]

Unverified No config options, recipes or quests for this mod could be confirmed in the pack, so how to change the sync mode or other behavior is unverified.

FTB Evolution 2 1.1.0 ships Refined Storage - JEI Integration at version 2.0.1. The mod was already in the pack by 1.0.2 or earlier, so it is not a new addition in this release.^[4]
