What is Structory: Towers?

2 parts

Structory: Towers adds immersive, biome-themed towers to the world. The project page lists outposts, firetowers, ocean monument pillars, and Nether and End towers, plus more. If you like exploring and finding new structures along the way, this mod is for you.[1]

It started as the first add-on for Structory. It works either alongside Structory or as a standalone datapack, which lets players and pack makers add or remove parts of Structory to suit their taste.[1]

Good to know

  • It is compatible with most worldgen and structure datapacks, such as Terralith or Structory.[1]
  • It is compatible with Waystones.[1]
  • You can add it to an existing world, but the towers only generate in new chunks. Chunks you have already explored will not get them.[1]

In this pack

The pack includes Structory: Towers 1.0.16. It has been part of the pack since version 2.25 or earlier.[2]

Unverified The sources give no details on where the towers fit into this pack's progression, and no quests or in-game guidebook for the mod were found. Treat the towers as optional exploration content.

How do you get started with Structory: Towers?

2 parts

Good news: Structory: Towers is a world-generation mod, so there's no crafting chain to work through before you start. It adds immersive, biome-themed towers to the world, such as outposts, firetowers, ocean monument pillars, and Nether and End towers.[1]

Your first steps

  1. Start in a brand-new world, or at least head into chunks you haven't explored yet. The mod can be added to existing worlds, but its structures only generate in new chunks.[1]
  2. Explore different biomes. The towers are biome-themed, so what you find depends on where you are, and the list includes Nether and End towers as well.[1]
  3. If you use Waystones, you're covered. The mod is compatible with it, so you can mark towers you discover.[1]
Tip: Want to know where towers are in a given seed? The mod's project page suggests jacobsjo's Minecraft Datapack Map, which shows structures per seed.[1]

Why there's no item to craft first

The mod's project page describes only structure generation. It doesn't list any items, so there's nothing for a recipe block to show here.[1]

Unverified No in-pack recipes, quests, or item descriptions for this mod could be confirmed, so this guide can't name loot, rewards, or progression tied to the towers. Check what you find in the towers yourself.

How does Structory: Towers work?

1 part

Structory: Towers is a world generation mod. It adds biome-themed towers to the world, such as outposts, firetowers, ocean monument pillars, and Nether and End towers. The sources describe it only this way, so there are no machines or multiblocks to build here.[1]

How the towers appear

  • The towers generate as part of world generation, so you find them while exploring rather than crafting them.[1]
  • The mod can run as a standalone option or as an add-on to Structory, which is a separate structure mod.[1]
  • It is compatible with most worldgen and structure datapacks, such as Terralith or Structory.[1]
  • It is also compatible with Waystones.[1]
Watch out: You can add the mod to an existing world, but towers only generate in new chunks. Chunks you have already explored will not get any.[1]
Tip: To see where towers are in a given seed, you can use jacobsjo's Minecraft Datapack Map, which the mod's project page recommends for viewing structures per seed.[1]

Unverified The available sources do not cover this pack's tower spawn rates, loot, or any config values. They also show no recipes, machines, power, fluid or item handling for this mod, so none of those are described here.

What changed in Structory: Towers between versions?

1 part

Structory: Towers has been in All the Mods 10 since at least version 2.25, and All the Mods 10 8.1 ships version 1.0.16. The pack changelogs only record version bumps for this mod, so there are no notes on what actually changed inside each update.[2]

Version bumps by pack release

  • All the Mods 10 2.43: updated from 1.0.10 to 1.0.11.[3]
  • All the Mods 10 4.1: updated from 1.0.11 to 1.0.12.[4]
  • All the Mods 10 4.3: updated from 1.0.12 to 1.0.13.[5]
  • All the Mods 10 4.13: updated from 1.0.13 to 1.0.14.[6]
  • All the Mods 10 5.5: updated from 1.0.14 to 1.0.15.[7]
  • All the Mods 10 6.3: updated from 1.0.15 to 1.0.16.[8]

Version 1.0.16 is the one you get in 8.1, and it has been the same since the 6.3 update.[2][8]

Unverified The mod's own changelogs for these versions are not available, so what each update added, fixed or changed in towers and loot is unverified.
