Rechiseled: Chipped in All the Mods 10

Rechiseled: Chipped is an addon to Rechiseled. It lets you craft all the blocks from the Chipped mod with the Chisel from Rechiseled, so one tool covers a huge range of decorative blocks.^[1]

Who it's for

If you like building and decorating, this one is for you. You don't need to juggle a separate workbench for each Chipped block type. You carry the Chisel and pick the variant you want.^[1]

Quality-of-life changes

The addon also tweaks Rechiseled itself, so big variant lists stay usable:^[1]

• The Chisel menu has a scrollbar, so it can handle more than 25 block variants.^[1]
• The Chisel menu in JEI no longer overflows when there are more than 25 variants. It paginates instead.^[1]

In this pack

The pack ships Rechiseled: Chipped listed as version 1.3, with the file named rechiseled_chipped-2.0-1.21.1.jar. It was already included in pack version 2.25 or earlier. The listed version and the file name don't match, so go by what you see in your own mods folder.^[2]

Unverified The sources don't place this mod on the ATM Star path, and they don't tie it to any quests. Nothing here confirms where it fits in the pack's progression, so treat it as an optional building and decoration tool.

Rechiseled: Chipped is an addon for Rechiseled. It lets you craft all the different blocks from the Chipped mod using the Chisel from Rechiseled, so one tool covers a huge range of decorative blocks.^[1]

Your first step: get the Chisel

The Chisel is the one tool you need from this addon. Chipped blocks are made with the Rechiseled Chisel, so make it before anything else. Once you have it, you can start turning blocks into their decorative variants.^[1]

Unverified The sources I was given don't include the Chisel's crafting recipe or its item id in this pack, so I can't show it here. Check the recipe viewer in-game (JEI) for the exact recipe. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

Using the Chisel menu

The addon adds two quality-of-life changes to Rechiseled, and they matter once you start browsing Chipped's many variants.^[1]

• The Chisel menu has a scrollbar, so it can show more than 25 block variants.^[1]
• The Chisel menu in JEI no longer overflows when a block has more than 25 variants. It splits them into pages instead.^[1]

That's all I can confirm for this mod. No quests in this pack involve it, and the sources don't list any recipes for its items, so there's no set order of items beyond starting with the Chisel.^[1]

Rechiseled: Chipped doesn't add machines, multiblocks or power systems. It's an addon to Rechiseled that lets you make the blocks from the Chipped mod with the Chisel from Rechiseled. That gives you one handy tool for a huge range of decorative blocks.^[1]

How you use it

The Chisel is the only tool involved. You use the Rechiseled Chisel to get the various Chipped blocks, instead of juggling a separate workbench for each Chipped block type.^[1]

Quality-of-life changes to the Chisel menu

Chipped has many variants of some blocks, so the addon changes how the Chisel menu handles long lists. There are two changes:^[1]

• The Chisel menu has a scrollbar, so it can show more than 25 block variants.^[1]
• The Chisel menu in JEI no longer overflows when a block has more than 25 variants. It paginates instead.^[1]

What the sources don't cover

Unverified Nothing available explains any power, fluid or item handling, automation, config options or in-pack recipes for this addon. If it has any such behavior, it is unverified here.

Rechiseled: Chipped has been in All the Mods 10 since early in the pack's life. It was already included in version 2.25 or earlier, and the sources don't say exactly which release added it.^[2]

• All the Mods 10 2.42: Rechiseled: Chipped was updated from 1.2 to 1.3.^[3]
• All the Mods 10 8.1: the pack still ships Rechiseled: Chipped 1.3, using the file rechiseled_chipped-2.0-1.21.1.jar.^[2]

Unverified The sources don't include the mod's own changelogs for these versions, so what changed inside the mod between 1.2 and 1.3 (new blocks, fixes or recipe changes) is unverified. The sources also don't explain why the version is listed as 1.3 while the file name says 2.0.
